    Hey
    Sorry I couldnt reply to each comment, as it gets tedious now that i have over 400 of them.
    So here is a FAQ you can read to help you through this.
    Q: Does this work in 1.19?
    A: Yes, it still does. This has nothing to do with update suppression so it wont be affected.
    Q: Does this work on paper, spigot or other bukkit based servers?
    A: Depends on the settings the admin set
    by default, it doesnt.
    you need to disable packet kick, bedrock breaking patch, and need to change the settings for packet spam limiter.
    Q: My game doesnt lag when i spam the lever.
    A: This highly depends on your pc, you can try placing more dust around the lever and increase your click speed, if that doesnt work you need to change your autoclicker, as some of them get capped and click slower than they claim.
    if you use tweakeroo, the link of which is in the description it should work for everyone.
    Q: My game lags but bedrock wouldnt break/there would be a ghost block.
    A: Make sure you can instantly mine the pistons, you need a good pickaxe and a haste 2 beacon for that.
    If you have those things but the issue still occurs, try lagging the game for less time, make sure you disable the autoclicker before placing the piston, and make sure you update the piston by placing/breaking blocks before breaking any of them.
    Note: For some reason if you try to do it while crawling under a trapdoor with more than 1 bedrock that can cause issues and not work.
    Note 2: As mentioned in a comment I have to unpin, its smarter to use redstone torches than this in some situations.
    I had a brainfart and overengineered this.
    Thanks for taking your time to read this, I am sorry but i will not answer any more questions on this video.

      he TNT method has no specific timing. It's literally just look at a corner and spam really fast. But it is obviously more resource efficient, since it doesn't permanently cost items.

      The only thing I do not like about this method is it requires a mod/auto clicker to work. I am looking for a PURE vanilla way to do it. Meaning nothing except the original game code and your own two hands lol.

    • @ARandomNope
      @ARandomNope 8 місяців тому +1

      There is a way to use an autoclicker in vanilla minecraft, and the simple trick to that:...is to change the keybind for placing blocks.
      There's a delay on placing blocks when right clicking, but when you hold down a key on a keyboard, there is no delay for some reason, and while I don't know why, it fully WORKS when using the tnt method, it would probably also work using this method, though I can take a guess that while this would be far more reliable than normally right clicking super fast, I have noticed it is slightly unreliable, at least when doing tnt.

    • @wilebaldoalvarez
      @wilebaldoalvarez 5 місяців тому

      This is the best for me, because with the TNT i just can do it 1 of 10 times I try. And also some people said the TNT also you will need an autoclicker, so this is best.

    Ok, after trying this myself it failed pretty much every time. After i replaced the pistons, and waited for my game to update. I was teleported to the pistons again.
    Turns out you need to do the redstone grid with the lever inside of 1 chunk.
    I build it over 4 chunks because i thought that would be more effective. Turns out it was not.
    So if you also have that problem. Make sure your redstone lag switch is in 1 chunk. For me it worked like a charm after that.

      I tried that and it's still not working. Redstone lag in one chunk. Piston facing sideways on top of bedrock. Placing a block on top of the piston, and a redstone block on top of that. Placing a block next to the piston to update it, and it becomes powered. Destroying the redstone block and the piston stays powered. Turning on fast right click. Flipping the lag switch for about 5 seconds. Breaking the piston. Breaking the block next to the piston. Placing a piston facing downwards into the bedrock. Lag finished, the piston head breaks, and yet the bedrock isn't broken.

I don't typically break bedrock as I try not to use any "exploits" but there are a few I will use on occasion (Like tnt duping since sand is not renewable without exploit anyway, or breaking bedrock in the Nether roof because the 2x3(6) beacon you already setup doesn't work cuz of hidden netherrack). If you do this on a server you can't move much before getting rubberbanded back towards your lag machine, which makes it technically possible but a huge pain to clear a large area as you'll have to have a way to use the lag machine from very close to the bedrock you're breaking. On 1.21 I added "Frostbyte's Skip Server Movement Check" to my Fabric server to remedy this.

    Works in 1.21 the key is that you cant use a line of trapdoors in the beginning. Start using them one at a time until you have entire row like he does in the video. Also speed is the key make sure you break them and replace them as fast as you can or you will get ghost blocks. The redstone lever does not need to be in the same chunk. I am not sure how this would work on a server because it could crash it.

    It's funny how no one actually ever explains how the bedrock is broken, it's always something like "it does something weird in the Minecraft code".
    I'm not an expert, and this isn't a dig at you Chaos, just from what I understand, when an extended piston is updated to it's retracted state, the game removes what would normally be the piston-head block. But due to the redstone lag (in this case) block updates are supressed so you're able to change out the extended pistons with downwards facing ones, and when the lag stops the game updates them to remove the piston-heads. Even though they're actually retracted the game still tries to remove the piston-head, which is actually a bedrock block.

    so basically, have 2 pistons set up. one of them is used to "fail". so what I did is for example, I set up 3 machine. i use 2 of them properly (breaking the torch first, then put a piston facing down) and the other 1 is set to fail, meaning break the piston FIRST THEN the torch. like I said, it was sort of destined to fail. and for some reason it works, I don't even know WHY but it works anyway. oh and I set up the lag machine the same chunk together with the bedrock I want to break (Im not sure if this matters a lot aswell.) hope this helps!

    Confirmed working in 1.21, however you have to include an extra piston on either side of your for it to work. More testing needed.

    • @wiktor7024
      @wiktor7024 3 місяці тому

      wdym by extra piston, like where exactly? i'm asking cause most of the time i get ghost blocks (and yeah i do everything as said in the video, turning of fastrightclick, removing and placing pistons in order) any idea what might cause this?

    • @wiktor7024
      @wiktor7024 3 місяці тому

      nvm got it figured out, and working 100% of time, the problem (for me, playing on carpet server) was distance from lag machine to pistons, it caused ghost blocks, also if a piston was out of reach from you, when lag stopped, it just didn't work
      i suppose that is because i am playing on a server, so there must be some kind of comparison (like - was it in reach? or that a player moved a lot in one tick so it just teleports you back idk)

    It works without haste and only efficiency 4. But it is very difficult. I find out is more easy if I do it with 2 friends. One for the lag, another for breacking the piston, and last one to place it. Don't know why, but it was more realiable this way.

    Looks great in theory and sometimes it also works sometimes, but somehow i get ghost blocks 90% of the time, especially when trying to remove multiples at once, in that case it seems like i always only get ghost blocks

  • @oreokesk
    @oreokesk Рік тому +3

    So i tried in 1.20.1 and figured that it works much better when leaving fast click on to place the piston. Also there is a chance that the removed bedrock becomes bugged and you cant walk through it, to fix this just place a block in the bugged spot and the block will get replaced with bedrock so you can try breaking it again, another thing i noticed is that when building to close to the redstone lagger the pistons will get updated while flicking the lever so it would be a better to built an elevated platform for the lagger or leave at least 2 blocks space between one redstone and a piston.

    Amazing video!
    Works in 1.21, and from what i understand of the way it works it will likely never be fixed!
    A few tips for other people: it’s really easy to do something you can’t actually do while the game is lagging, for example placing a block on one that you broke. When you do this make sure you could do it if it was in real time too, and it will work perfectly.
    I will never use tnt to break the bedrock ceiling again!

  • @mohdaaman5276
    @mohdaaman5276 Рік тому

    You don't even need to use the trapdoor method, if you have accurate placement on. I started straightly by removing 19 blocks at the same time. And after few rows i realise that we can remove multiple rows at once. That will save a lot of time. Btw i used it to remove the roof over my wither skeleton farm.

    hi & thx for the share.
    should an update suppressor do the job if u dont wanna add an autoclicker ? (& maybe should reduce every waiting time for the lag to end, switching on & off at our needs)

    • @chaosblend4312
      @chaosblend4312  2 роки тому +3

      its more about lag than update suppression.
      You would need to use the update suppressor as a lag machine.
      But if you are building something that large, a 3 way bedrock breaker machine would be a better option.

    If you for some reason cant make it work. Make sure you are using eff 5 or netherite eff 4 or a beacon with haste. You just have to be able to insta mine the piston. Else it wont work.

      Make sure to turn off the autoclicker when you place the piston, and update the piston by breaking or placing a block next to it before breaking it (or break the redstone torch)
      That should work.
