I've been using an old desktop version of excel and printing as pdf for easy emailing of invoice. Now I have the online version of office 365 I can't work out how to print or save an excel sheet to pdf. Any hints?
Good question. You mean Online Excel? On my computer when using Online Excel, I have to go to File > Print > [Select all the Print Options] > Print button ... then when it finally opens the Print window that lets me choose the Destination, I have a "Save as PDF" option. This might be because I have Adobe Reader & Acrobat installed on my computer, which includes a print driver that allows you to print to a PDF.
thank you so much for making this video, you don't know how much i struggled to save my dads invoices as PDF's to be able to email them to his clients. Again, thanks so much for the video!!
36 seconds and it became my lifesaver!! I tried watching a couple other vids before this and was like,... what?? They were not helpful.... then I come across this much shorter vid..and Walahhhh....saved my life for a school assignment 😃👏👏👏👏
For those who are using a Mac, go to "File" at the very top of your computer (not the website) and when you hit "File" there is one that should say "Export as PDF.." and then just change the name of the file if you want, and choose where you want to put it. As for me, on Excel the "Export" button wouldn't show up and I ended up figuring out that in order to convert it, it has to be on the computer settings and not the browser(Excel). Hope this helps if anyone was struggling! :)
hello dear excellent one but there is problem ,while converting multiple excel sheets to pdf the generated pdf has multiple blank pdf pages while excel does not have blank excel sheets ,means how to cut those blank pdf sheets automatically ???????????????????????
Hi, I'm currently working on a spreadsheet that saves a selection of the workbook as a dynamically named PDF (saves to sharepoint) The issue I now have is I need 3 cells in the PDF to be editable after the save. Is this possible?
Both Excel and Adobe Acrobat will only convert the bottom half of my spreadsheet to pdf. Deleting the bottom half of the spreadsheet to convert the top half of the spreadsheet doesn’t work and only results in a blank pdf. Not sure what to do.
Just wondering, Do you know how to get the button on the file menu that you have that says "save as adobe PDF" ? I had it before and cant figure out how to get it back.
Some options like that may only be available through installing adobe products such as Adobe Acrobat. If it's not the feature that Microsoft built in, then that might be the issue.
When I open the converted file on a different computer, all the fonts are screwed up, how in heck do I fix this? I'm trying to work on a school calendar at home.
Im on windows 10, the printable pdf invoice appears in two sheets, one sheet contains two thirds of the invoice, the other sheet, the remaining third. They are separated vertically, help please.
When creating a PDF from the Free invoice template (see link in video description), make sure your print settings have the page scaling set to "Fit Sheet on One Page." Excel's print preview will also show you what the final PDF will look like, so you can make sure it's fitting on one page before you create the PDF. Hope this helps.
