I've felt like a moron not being able to make some simple spreadsheets at work in the job I'm currently in. I knew I was capable, however I lacked a solid base of foundational instruction to create simple, easy to read and accurate information. Your basic excel along with this one have given me the ability to give a higher quality product for folks to access the information I've been asked to provide. Thanks!

Great tutorial, thank you! A faster way for AutoSum is the shortcut: Alt =. This works for both column and row totals.
    These are the steps:
1.) Select the cell you want the sum to appear
2.) On your keyboard hold down the Alt key, then press the equals sign. It will add a SUM function to the cell, then press enter and the total will appear
Another way to use the AutoSum shortcut is:
1.) Select the values you want to add
2.) On your keyboard hold down the Alt key, then press the equals sign and the total will appear
When you do this method Excel will put the total in the cell after your selection.
Furthermore, if you mouseover (hover over) the AutoSum symbol it tells you the keyboard shortcut. Hope this was helpful!

What a God Send this video is. I am so used to so-called "Beginner" videos where the teacher clicks on multiple icons rapid fire without explaining any one of them, all while promising how easy this is. Those type of videos just discourage me, making the beginner learner feel stupid for not knowing what they have never had explained patiently. Too many videos like this and one starts to doubt themselves, as if they cannot learn it for whatever inadequacy, and all because the instructor is teaching according to their familiarity, what they find challenging and stimulating.

    P.s
I wished my school placed more emphasis on this during HS 😂 excel is life in any..in ANY profession.
    Thank you thank you
