@@sanjivinsmoke4587 A good response might be "bettering myself", or you could come up with an answer in relation to the job and the career you hope to gain from it before the interview just in case :) it's good to prepare, but not over prepare- don't make yourself any more nervous than you need to be. Finding work is really hard these days, but you can do it! You will find an employer who values you eventually. Please try not to get discouraged, I know how easy it is to feel bad about yourself and your prospects, but it's not good for your heart to focus on that-- focus instead on learning new skills online that you can bring to interviews/jobs, find an interview outfit you feel powerful and comfortable in, practice staying calm while speaking and make sure you keep your voice evenly paced. Interviews go well when you come across as confident and well-prepared, even if inside you don't feel like that :) fake it til you make it is a silly saying, but it is very applicable here

Your videos have been extremely helpful. When I was in school (K-12), we were taught how to use Word and used in constantly for assignments. I vaguely remember we were taught a bit of Excel in elementary or middle school, and that was it. We never used it for school assignments, and were never made to put it into practice the way we did with Word. You're definitely helping to fill a large knowledge gap that many of us have, and it's very much appreciated.

To make a video like this, first you need a delicate design in order to include all the tips and tricks and put them in a logical order, and second you need to explain them in clear and accurate words and third you need to know how to record the screen and edit it. My family has been patronizing and chastising me for YEARS about how I don't know how to use Excel. It has been 25 years, since I last had a keyboarding class (It was a middle school requirement). For all my classes from middle school to college, I used Microsoft Word because I had no reason to use Excel.
Almost every clerical job expects people to know how to use Excel, which has always been intimidating for me. Here's the kicker. I learned how to create my own website using a website builder by watching a UA-cam tutorial 7 years ago, and it's mostly drag and drop features that I use.
After watching this informative UA-cam tutorial that you made, I realized that most of what you have done is drag and drop. I no longer feel insecure, intimidated, and unconfident in using Excel. With that being said, thank you so much for creating this tutorial! You managed to help me overcome my fear of using Microsoft Excel, after 25 years! Now, I can apply for clerical jobs that require the use of it.

I have just watched this tutorial after trying for an hour to set up a basic ‘grid’ document to draw up my own personal development plan.
I now have a professional looking work book using all the basic tips you have shown .
I am so thrilled having spent 20 years on site and now find myself office based starting all over again.
Just need the development to go in it now lol.
Thank you so so much 👍👍👍👍 subscribed straight away.

I learnt excel back in the late 80s when it first came out and then promptly forgot how to use it - this is an excellent refresher as well as beginner's guide - one comment on your explanation of correcting typos at the approx 13:45 point, "being in a cell - being on a cell" - using a mouse you don't need to double click, you can just click once in the ordinary manner and make the change without losing data / without having to retype all of the words - thank you for your clear and concise tuition.

I've never been IT Orientated. I actually just had a promotion at work. Up to a week ago, I used to be a Electrical Foreman for a Huge Solar Company. Thank goodness for your video! Currently going to school and one of my classes is self teaching how to use for the most part since it's online. It's been a struggle because I need someone to actually explain it and not just read it and try to figure it out. I caught on to this way easier and learned shortcuts that weren't taught so thank you so much!

Providing basic terminology and very clear directions / examples at the very beginning, and a quick recap before going on - Ahhhhh - a real teacher. Thank you. I will share with my international students. Some of them are whizzes at Excel in their own language, but watching and learning from you is going to be extremely valuable. And, they'll be able to "make friends" in English.
And a comment to those who are binge-learning to get/keep a job....Good for you. You've come to the right place. All the best.

Your simple & effective communication skill, technical explanations and knowledge have made me a fan of yours teaching skills. I am from India, so my English is not up to the mark and on excel i have worked very less- so I don't have that confidence in both but, but but.....the game is going to take a turn now & for sure one reason will be you!
