The only time to drop a doton on single target is pre-pull if the boss will be moved and you can hide to get your mudra back. It does tick 7 times, but that's still only 560 potency, and raiton is 650 and gives you a raijuu charge, just do the right thing and not the wrong thing Ninjas >,
@@SkyFF14 Is that just fight design not allowing for it in any EW fight, or is it actually tech gone can't even do it in old fights, or is there just so much pre-pull opener that there's no time for doton->hide? Either way pre-pull doton death is sadge.

pre pull doton is dead tech now and no longer used in the opener.
this was a thing in shadowbringers but as of endwalker pre pull doton died.

@@Tony_Chalmers hide now cancels doton ....so using hide immediately erases doton from the ground
because of this doton is used only for 2 targets or more below level 90 and only 3 targets at level 90.
