I’ve never done ketamine, but smaller doses will provide euphoria without the same terrifying experience that comes with an infusion. The dose makes a huge difference, as far as I’ve heard.

One of my friends did this and it did not have a good impact on her. She did ayahuasca too. Eventually she became insufferable and I had to end the friendship. Her sense of humor, which is why I became friends with her in the first place, vanished. It did not dissolve her ego but it did dissolve most of her positive attributes and poured Miracle Gro on her most unpleasant qualities. She became very serious, preachy and sanctimonious. Then she started doing this Course In Miracles, which is a total PsyOp, and lost her mind completely. Some people just get completely lost in all this New Age shit.

if you are drinking and doing K you are not getting real sleep. Your brain literally cannot pass through the brainwave states it needs to really restore. DT's are called that because of the effect a gabergenic sedative like alcohol has on sleep. (you are not really sleeping) Look at ways to reset neurochemical balance and you won't need to use a substance to counterbalance another. high dose Glutamine w vitamin B6 as a cofactor (quality b complex is better) [want to restore GABA in the brain] theanine daily, Phenylalanine etc is a place to start.
I've always had an issue falling asleep cuz I'm unable to shut off my brain as well. I got prescribed Seroquil for an unrelated issue and found that it completely solved my sleeping problems. Now my brain shuts off without me even trying.

I did ketamine therapy. It was only nice like once. Each time I either fell asleep or a very very uncomfortable panic state for 20 minutes that made me keep thinking "this will be over and you will be okay. It is the drug not real life. You will be alright" over and over. The last 15 minutes I would be sleepy and felt like I was just floating in space like black. But it was all like the state you are in if you just woke up from a vivid dream at 3am. It worked for my mood for a bit but I think at the 8th time I was too aware of it. I was less in a better mood like the therapy was a big placebo.

I’ve done the ket therapy for extreme depression. I tried it for a bit over a month and I feel like it slightly helped but even as an ex drug addict I still didn’t really like the feeling of it. Having to have someone drop you off and pick you up is a real hassle also.

My mind went from having racing thoughts to pure quietness and tranquility...but only for the rest of the day following each treatment (did 7 treatments over a month and a half). Considering how each treatment cost $400, I just don't have the budget to book several 7-dose treatments a year, even though I think it'd have mild therapeutic benefits for me still. I think the experience itself was quite profound and incredible - despite sitting on a reclining chair, the experience felt like falling through an abyss in outer space, feeling like I was literally, physically *upside down* the whole time, as if I were on an inversion table the entire time. Although it wasn't effective for me in the long run, I'm glad I gave it a shot. I don't believe in a God, but I sincerely pray that you find your panacea soon, friend.

Racemic ketamine is half (s)-ketamine and (r)-ketamine which are very different from each other. To make it simple for the normies, (s)-ketamine is a lot more like Delta-9-THC vs (r)-ketamine which is much more like cannabidiol (therapeutic, antidepressant, and no high).
This is very naive, a lot of these people have serious psychological issues and are desperate and frantically trying anything they can to relieve them of their pain and suffering. Have some compassion for them.
