Uh oh! I did 4 tumblers and didn't sand first! They weren't silver though, they were unfinished white ones bought from amazon. I thought they were ready to go prepped white. I didn't paint, just epoxy mixed with alcohol ink right on top of the white. Do you have any suggestions to fix them? They came out really good but now I'm afraid they are going to peel right off
How long do you wait to epoxy after spray paint, if you aren’t doing glitter? And do you clear coat it?
What resin are you using is it a food safe one, as I’m aware some resins aren’t food safe so therefore not safe to put by your mouth?
I have a quick question. I have a black tumbler that already has epoxy. Can I sand it with fine grit to get a hair out and apply another layer without it looking like it has scratches?
As long as it is on the surface you should be able to sand it off without going completely through the epoxy layer. Then add another layer and you won't see the scratches anymore.
Is this where you would apply vinyl if that’s how you’re designing your tumbler? BEFORE the epoxy?
Claudia Vessel I apply one coat of epoxy (two if needed over glitter) and then the vinyl and finish with a last coat of epoxy

Dreama Wickline oh no. It may have to do with the brand you used? The smell goes away for me after the epoxy has dried completely (about 24 hours)
