little tip, if you want the soap to not run as much and can be more defined with it; put the soap in the fridge for 30 minutes or freezer for 15 minutes for you use it, obviously the colder it is the more firm it gets and the lines drizzled hold a lot better, longer and more defined.

when you rinse - do you use COLD, WARM or HOT water??
@@yakkyuu12 usually just like room temp id say maybe, usually just turn the water on in the sink n rinse it off real fast, jus the cold knob, but it's not really cold water ya kno. hope that helps

A couple more questions, hope you don't mind;
1) how long do you let the Dawn soap sit until you spray black over it?
2) after you do spray black over it; how long do you let it sit, before you wash the soap off??
3) REALLY important question; Can you spray a DIFFERENT color than Black over top( obviously not spraying a color you have undersneath--could I use WHITE, Cream, or how about a METALLIC black or Metallic copper??
Is there any color you definitely should NOT spray over your DAWN??
I put mine in a dehydrator for 30min which thickened it up

Instead of creation, we used India in in school. I homeschooled my 3 girls and taught them how to do that as well, and recently did it with my grandson. Loved doing those a a kid!! When my kids did theirs, I took the injured pages, shuffled them, turned them, then handed them back so that they wouldn't know where any particular colors were and the end result would be a surprise.

This is an awesome technique!! Definitely going to use this method on my daughter's mini bikes! One of her mini bikes were stolen last month, luckily I was able to track it down and the police recovered it for us. I had the VIN and they said even with the VIN there's no other identifying marks so I may not get it back 🤦♀️ (thought that was one of the purposes of a VIN) Anyway LOVE the technique!! Her mini bikes are sure to stand out now!

No, I litterally washed it off after I walked into the kitchen, so it was maybe 60 seconds
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush So the spray paint dries fairly quick after the soap is applied then sprayed?
Im a newbie to tumblers, a new subscriber and excited to say I just tried this! But my spray paint ran a little. It was windy when I did it and I think I was spraying too close as a result. I continued the course but you can see the bleed. Any tips how to fix that in the future? Love the technique.
Spray thinner layers. And might need a different brand of spray paint. What he used works great on tumblers

@@DuncanCustomAirbrush can you explain the epoxy finish part. Do you have to sand after you put it on? Is it smooth? I have never done these kind before. I have only done Sublimation tumblers. Thank you! These are super awesome!!!!!
