      Congrats on the purchase! I bought a 2020 ZX6R last week. Love it! I had a 2019 before and sold it due to unforeseen circumstances but kept my Ninja 400. Traded the 400 this week to get back on the 636. Yes, the quickshifter is good fun.

    Riding this made me miss my R6 and CBR1000RR! What do you guys think, would bringing a sport bike back to the channel be cool?
    PS: This video was filmed at the beginning of Bike Week 2020, which was a week before FL had any confirmed cases of COVID-19. It was shut down later that week. I was staying at home anyways, but Orlando / Orange County has now been ordered to stay at home starting Thursday. Update vid to come. Stay safe out there everyone!

    I just upgraded from the 650 to a 2020 ZX6R. I really enjoyed my 650 but man I LOVE my 6R, it's a real blast on some of the mountain roads here in AZ

  • @reroan2670
    @reroan2670 4 роки тому +6

    650s are parallel twin engines, so they definitely are different to the 6R, regardless of the larger cc. I've ridden both, and the 650s are just great for long rides and commuting. 6Rs are for a track or short bursts around the town. Amazing center point of gravity on both. Great power. Ready to rip on both. Long-term reliability. I'm just a suckered for Kawasaki.

    5'10" is already a couple inches tall, but try keeping your back straight, holding on with your knees like you mentioned, and lean over fully so that your belly/abs are on the tank literally, it'll take all the weight off your wrists and knees and still allow you to shift side to side easily. Sitting up on an R model isn't what they're made for but most people try anyway

    I think the 2013 redesign of the ZX-6R is still the best looking one. But either way beast of a machine. But for long distance these are horrible. Rode a CBR600 from SF to LA. I literally collapsed on the dismount, I couldn't feel my legs.

    trying to figure out why the guy said that it would be harder to Wheelie in Traction Mode 1...That mode provides the least amount of assistance?

      Byron Gast I have the 2019 zx6r and wasn’t aware traction control affected wheelies, unless it’s different for the 2020 model. I always ride in Level 1 but it can be turned off entirely too I’m pretty sure. I haven’t really played around with it too much and haven’t wheelied, although a salesman told me he had it power wheelie when he test rode it. He told me this months after I bought it, so it wasn’t a sales tactic.

    Usually I don't comment on Videos, but I really would appreciate to hear and see your opinion about the Kawasaki Vulcan S (MY 2020). It definitly needs some customizing (for example: exhaust, taillights, etc.) to look kinda "really nice", but as an owner of one, i can say, that the riding experience is really fun. .. Please stay Healthy! Greetings from good ol' Germany to you and the whole Community. :-)

      Nowadays pretty much every manufacturer has lowering kits for their bikes, so especially on the "smaller" bikes like the ZX-6R u should be able to get a decent seating postion for your size...

      Try a GSXR600. They're quite a bit lower than the other 600s. You can adjust the rear shock as well to allow more sag which will get you closer as well.

      I've been riding a year and a half and still can't figure out how to do it right. Currently riding a 2020 ZX6R. Couldn't do it on my R3 or Ninja 400 either. Guess I need to watch videos on how to do it.

      skipp crider instead of pull in clutch, downshift, let off clutch it’s pull in clutch, rev the bike a little at the same time as downshifting, then let off clutch.. just matches your revs for a smoother gear transaction and not to mention sounds better. Just practice man
