Went to local dealer a couple hours after this was announced today. They had one with the red seat in stock. Wasn't even on the show floor yet. Ended up buying it. Such a sick bike
I was the FIRST in the country to buy this today! I saw it for sale this morning and fell instantly in love. I now currently own two Livewires! The 2022 Livewire One and now the Mulholland! They are two totally different riding experiences! I made a video as well today and will be posting it after editing.
It’s starting to make sense in the right circumstances. I daily ride year round (FL). Stop and go. Average 40 miles per day. Park at home overnight. Wouldn’t plan a trip on it and wouldn’t be the only bike. But as a daily yeah. Considering the cost of a car for commuting it starting to look like a viable option for me. Good video
You were the reason why I jumped back on a motorcycle after some years. Your old 883 vids on the parking lot with tips for beginners made me hungry to get back in the saddle. Thank you. Stay safe and keep the rubber on the street.
S2 is such a fun platform. My first thought when I test ride the Del Mar last year was ‘I wanna do hood rat shit’. Mulholland seems like a great option for those that don’t want to venture off the beaten path, which is why I love my Del Mar. great review/jmpressions! Ride safe
Living in Colorado it would realistically be used approx. 8-months of the year. I think it would be great for my 30 mile round-trip to work each day and running errands around my town.
I like it. Give Harley a lot of credit by taking a chance with it. Yes it didn’t make it like they hoped but look at this one. They will lead the motorcycle industry

I've been watching you since the sportster and I didn't even own a bike at the time. I've been through a few in the past 7 years and finally picked up a 22 RGS this year, my first Harley. Enjoying your videos and the bike.
As someone who wouldn't road-trip a motorcycle for more than... maybe an 8 hour drive, this would be great. Especially considering I have solar and a battery backup so most if not all charging would be free for me.
Looks like a pretty fun bike Block. Thanks for showing a small clip of HB. That was home for me and it was nice seeing it, even for a just a quick minute.
Block, thanks again as usual for another AmaZinG test ride review. I could definitely see getting one to commute my 48 mile rt/commute to work. It also looks to be a ton of fun. See you on the Rad Road
I'm 60 drove semi for over 20 years last couple years of my career I drove semi automatic semi hated not shifting gears not enthusiastic about the sound of the same on a motorcycle but watching blockhead video on Mulholland live wire I'm curious I'd take a spin around the block on one if opportunity arises
I’ve got a manual V8, automatic V8, manual inline 6, various motorcycles, and lemme tell ya, riding something like this is a whole other experience. Doesn’t mean you can’t also like those other things! Def worth trying it out for the feeling of the torque alone 😁
The Del Mar was a good addition to the lineup with a purpose; attract urban riders. Super fun to ride. This seems like they should have found a way to extend the range if the goal was to make a cruiser. Zero continues to improve their range and offerings and LW has released an S2 that doesn’t grab the larger US market. I’m a shareholder and believe in what LWG is doing but find this model to be a miss for me. The ELW/LW1 is still such a good looking machine to me and is a joy to ride.
I like it. I currently own a 2021 Zero SR-F, and the range is definitely a killer. That, and the charging infrastructure isn't really there for level 2 chargers. I would have definitely bought this if it was available b4 I bought my Zero. I really like the style of this one.
The design is a bit funky, but I like it. I know you charged it at a charging station, but I'm curious what the cost would have been at home. Maybe someone in the know can comment, but I'm thinking it would be less than half the cost. Wouldn't work as my only bike, but would definitely be a nice second or tenth bike.
S2DM owner - I like the seat on this much better than the del mar. But honestly though, I wish the 2nd LV S2 variation was something with wind protection like a bikini fairing on a tuono. oh well. the torque is killer.
I ride an electric bicycle almost every single day, both for fun and as my daily commuter to and from work. I have a hybrid car, but not EV. An electric motorcycle seems like my dream come true (granted I'd have to get my motorcycle license, but many people have told me it isn't that hard to get and schools around me offer classes to teach you). The ONLY thing stopping me right now is simply the cost. As of this comment, this bike is $16,000. That's FAR out of my price range, but the allure is there. Cost of living is so out of control that even for my studio apartment in Arizona it's $1,385 and that doesn't include food, fuel, electricity and Internet for literally a room to live in. I feel it's a pipe dream to have one of these one day, but damn is it perfect for me. I'm a minimalist by nature and live alone by choice. Seems great, but it always comes down to money.
What’s up Block Fam!? I got an unexpected phone call from Orange County police. They recovered my 09 dyna. It’s been missing for two years. It’s a mess of wires and mismatched parts. Serial numbers ground off, no controls, no back brakes, cvo front brakes. There’s a lot missing. Almost nothing original. What should I do with it? Twin cam chopper? Rebuild it as a dyna? Sell it for parts? Wdyt?
Oh damn! Congrats on getting your bike back first of all! That sounds rough for sure. To rebuild as a Dyna is doable, I'm sure you can find plenty of 2nd hand parts for good prices at swap meets or on ebay. Or you could go the chopper route, both could be cool!
The design of this bike is really cool, only if Harley made a bike with this design and V-twin engine, it would have been selling like hotcakes. Harley should really consider making a bike with this design and V-twin engine
I have the 2020 LiveWire. Do you think this is a true upgrade from that or something different? I do really like having a unique one with the Harley badging so not sure if I want to part with that.
I rode the Victory Empulse I think it was called or Ignition? They'd brought it with their current line back 8 or 9 years ago and I checked it out. The thing had a lot of get up and go, was interesting. I had a hard time with the lack of clutch though. Figure you'd get used to not having one sooner or later if you rode one. Won't trade my HD Road Glide for one, currently but the tech is interesting.
Got my eye on this bike here in uk only i like the fairly long range and pretty quick charging 2hrs only thing I don't get is why the mirrors are under the handle bars
I'd be more willing to try one of they were more cruiser styled, and maybe not so café racer style. It'd be a great little round town bar hopper again if it was styled differently. I've been looking and no one makes a cruiser style ev bike
It'd be a great work-commute bike, and I'd love to have one....but it's hard to justify $16K when I have three bikes that are just as good at getting me to/from work (and 2 are paid off)
Very cool. It looks fantastic, but range is still an issue. Where I live (Portland, OR) going from one side of town to the other and back it would be done.
@@AdventuresonZero If you are using the bike to commute, you are possibly correct, depending on where they’re located. For a ride for pleasure like most of us, it’s not convenient. I’d rather not plan my ride on where chargers are located.
