I' m 4' 8," 113lbs. Would this Bobber be a great fit for me? I used to Ride a 2003 Honda Rebel. The Honda Shadow VLX 750 and the Harley Sportsters and Harley Low Riders are a little bit Big and a little bit Heavier for me.
This Indian Bike is an Awesome Bobber.
I'm 5'6 135lbs and I'm riding a 1973 Indian ME 100
Does it matter where I come from to win the Harley?
DXT1989 - Limited to the contiguous 48 US
@@BlockheadMoto alright then I guess I´m out but I like your channel a lot
When Conor Mcgregor gives you the keys you know the bike is special.
Does the bike gas out too?
@@Bb-pw1zi ooof destroyed
Sounds not so tough. New pipes a must
Who
Insulting the keys guy is uncalled for
Just based on looks this is easily my favorite production bike in the last 50 years
So I've had my bobber since May. Stage 1,led headlight and corbin seat. Each mod has made a positive difference especially the seat. Comfy and you don't slide back. Stock seat is horrific. Sounds loud as hell and gets plenty of attention, especially from sportster riders, who just can't keep up. Cracking bike... And a keeper.
Hi what do you think of the sound? Is it as good as Harley?
Is this bike good for a new rider?
22:41
That's the cooling fan on the radiator for anyone who just bought a Scout and can't figure it out.
I’m 6’ @ 215 pounds and this bike fits me fine.
The only thing I didn’t like was the comfort of the stock seat. Looks good. But it’s hard (that’s what she said)
TMI
Well done Michael
I’m about pretty damn close to your night and weight. I’m just 210 ish. I sat on one of these and I feel like my knees were up to my chest, is yours stock or do you have the extended reach pack.
You will get use to it
😏
Oh my lord 19:37, the turn signals match up and I think I had an eye-gasm
I love how you put a shot of raj in the hammock during the bike description 😂 I own a Harley but I’ve been excited for this review 👌🏻
Mr Blockster, that was a fine ride and review. I like the way you emphasize that you like all bikes, and this is primarily a fun ride, and not a technical review. Keep up the good work bro.
Thax for telling the height of the guy sitting on the scout!!! It's really very helpful!!!
I test drove this bike before and its like you are taking words out of my mouth. I felt the same about the bike. Great reviews man.
The kind of review I was looking for. Thanks!
first timer watching your vids. I liked. thxs man!
Love your review. This time of the year in Michigan, watching youtube gives me a small fix. Like the mirror down option, as it gives a very unobstructed view. I own the 2016 scout and it is awesome - minus the snow and ice here. Five more months...
I test rode one of these with the Indian stage one and the sound was intoxicating. I’m a streetglide owner and love the Scout bobber 👍
Nice review! Air intake, exhaust, & a tune jumps the power up quite a bit. Add a Corbin and long multi-day rides are doable. When you getting one?
I'm looking into buying an Indian Scout and this video is very informative. Thanks!
Dude, I love this in-depth review! So many reviews are full of broad terms like "so much power" and "feels great", it isnt useful. Any chance for a review on a 2018 Yamaha Raider? Lol awesome review bro. Keep the pretty side down.
Nice bike...
My friend is talking me into getting a bike, would be my first one...
We stopped by the dealer the other day and I saw this blue 2020 on the showroom floor...
fell in love...
So I decided to watch some videos on the bike to check out reviews...
Crazy... this was the second video I watched... I was sitting in my truck at the Circle K across from the Wawa you filled up at... I live and work around the corner from where you started and used to work near where you ended...
I recognized the whole trip... lol...
nice review... thanks, it made up my mind...
Stunning bike. So much superior to a Harley in every single way (I've owned three Harleys in the past 15yrs) Indian and Triumph are making the best cruisers
TRUMPHS are great bikes, Always had Norton's 850 Commandos....and a Atlas 750 with the featherbed racing frame ...
Have you ridden a new fat bob from Harley? Lol
Superior to every Harley except the one it's closest in comparison to...the V-Rod, which smokes it.
Thank you so much for such a thorough video. Subbed!
This video popped up in my recommended. Instant subscription bro!
Thank you so much for sharing this video It really helped me
A bit late, but so what. This was one of the best bike reviews that I have heard/seen ever! Keep it up!
Haha seeing you roll down Silverstar is crazy. Awesome video on bike I was curious of.
Thanks bro, you helped me out looking into the scout bobber, I'm glad I came across you just how you describe the bike in detail before getting on, no one does that besides that about how the bike rides, thanks bud I'm officially a subscriber. God speed brother!!
My dream bike!! Ughh soon. I will say I agree with you on the seating position. I've test ridden the Bobber numerous times, and that lean angle does get to your back quickly if you aren't used to it. But everything else is spot on!
Florida is awsome can’t wait to go visit sometime seeing the video reminded me of Florida
YEEASSSS!!!!! I want this bike so bad!! Love the Indian bikes!
Considering trading my mt09 tracer in on one of these, I also own a grom! Love it. Thanks for the review
Just became your fan brother, gave me a lot of information.
Wow that is one of the sickest bikes ive ever seen
Loved the review mate.. awesome
Good review, but that rear shock angle was not designed for action-reaction work, they need to go to single shock system.
4:16 looked like something from farcry
Bro i came here to see if somebody noticed it hahahaha
😂
Under rated comment
I heard "what's up blackheads"
Gabriel Benay, I did too.
I'm not the only one then...
Wait what did he actually say?
@@conner1466 "Blockheads" It is the channel name lol.
That Chieftain is a nice bike. I'm sure the haters will comment when you review it.
The line is fantastic.
I had a fun little run in with one of these today. We cruised together for a little doing a few pulls here and there. I had to look up the specs after seeing we were fairly dead even. I was on my 2005 Katana 750 which is 92hp but 40 something tq. Pretty nice bike.
Beautiful bike, I've the 2018 HD 48 but like the short tail on this.
Good day, Sir, thank you kindly fpr these videos! I really enjoyed them, iam talking one of the rarest videos when i actually watch the whole video *HI~C!* have a great day!
I have to admit. You had me laughing too. 😂 Great video.
I like the way you critique a bike. I like all types .
Subscribed just because of this video. I’m getting mine in January.
I wish everyone that reviews their rides was this informative, Block, Thanks.... Kudos.
As for the mirrors, to me, putting them low would be the same as doing that on my 4 wheeler..... not happenin'. I too like consistency.... especially with them. That Whirring-Noise.... Sounds like my Bolt... 'Could be wrong, but it sounds like the cam-chain whirring around is causing that. If you rev the engine and the frequency increases, Then I'd say "Yep, Cam chain chatter'' .... Get louder pipes lol..... Stay Safe!
I've been riding an '02 Softail Deuce for for 18 years now and been pondering a new ride and this is high on my list. There is just nothing from Harley that I'm liking as much right now. I'd either go with this or the Triumph Bobber Black or 120 Bonneville Black.
hey Blockhead i know what you mean about the rider triangle but did you know on the FXDR the bars are adjustable so you bring them towards you and then adjust the pole part to get the wrist angle you want. I guess Harley just has them set for people a little taller to start.
Looks stunning !
You're in my stomping grounds. Very cool.
Finnaly i have been trying to finde a video with this bike
Really a nice bike, in line with the price of a harley iron 1200. I personally live in Italy and own an iron 883 2019 and for our streets such kind of bikes are just fine. Plus you get the happyness of owning a piece of american motorcycle history. Respect to Harley and Indian and great job Blockhead 🤙🏻
Hey hey! Im visiting my sister in Italy right now. Dardago di Budoia. Beautiful place.
Sure a nice place to visit man, have fun 😎
That’s kinda funny about being proud of owning a an American bike. I’m an American milleinal and all my riding friends brag about owning an Ducati or a Triumph. I love Harley’s too, it’s funny how everyone wants something “foreign”
2019 harleys arent american bud, sorry to burst your bubble.
Interesting because I own a Guzzi V9 Bobber and absolutely love it....just became fed up with Harley way overpriced for what you get.
Enjoyed your video, I am looking into the Scout. I wish you wouldn't have cut the video before sugarloaf. How did the scout do over here in lake county. Thanks for the vid.
Great review!! 🏍️
Don't have a MotorBike but I love the video
it is a real pity that this kind of bike is not appreciated here in Italy
I saw a softail deluxe cruisin down the road the other day in Aviano. Surprised me.
Kind of funny since cafe and bobber style jackets are based heavily on Italian service jackets for the motorcycle corp of the Italian military lol kind of like how Harley guys still wear American style jackets modelled loosely on American fighter pilot leathers
Thinking of getting one so thanks
Great video definitely worth want one now
im 6'3 and im gonna be taking the MSF course at harley here in Az soon and i plan on getting either the iron 1200 or the 883. liked both when i sat on them
1200
At 6'3" you need a road king!
Do you think that a bar further back, and higher would allow you to sit straighter, and save your back?
That’s a beautiful bike!
The main thing I keep hearing about these on the down side is back hurting after only a little while of riding. It must be the angle of the foot pegs and bar position allowing back strain.
👍🎵👏 so glad you did this!
Finally......... my favorit bike.......
Thinking about getting one of these for a starter bike.... good power and looks rad as hell....any thing I should know?
I love this machine. I wish I could be riding this machine one day
You will one day my friend, I know this is a year later but hope you were able to accomplish this goal
Yeah looks awesome,great bike
It would be cool to see a review on the triumph bobber in black trim. I enjoy the detail in your posts and would love to hear your thoughts on the triumph.
How's the brakes on this? I noticed 1 disc up front which may seem not enough for a 1100+cc engine bike.
Do you think mini apes would help with the back pain? Maybe help sit different. I love the look of the bike but I have back pain in general so I don’t wanna make it worse.
Would you test drive a used Harley with a Springer front end if one is available? Please I'm thinking about building one
it is crazy to see you drive by my work LOL ! nice bike as well
BlockHead! Great videos as always brutha. Thank you so much for taking time to teach us THOUROUGHLY how to ride standard bikes (because we're all new at something),
and for unbiasts bike reviews as a Harley enthusiasts hahaha. Now, the reak Q is, are you ready to send my free Harley over to Thailand 'cause I'm waiting to win one... lol Cheers brutha!
Enjoyed that!
Men where do you test these I live like 20 mins from winter garden and your videos are in Orlando, sub
Hey bro, if you’ve got a motorcycle endorsement, the Indian dealership offers test rides... just don’t show up looking like a squid
I prefer the blinkers on the left side only. I had a 883 as well, and the blinker on right PLUS throttle just didn't make sense to me.
Cool bike. I’m looking at replacing my Honda 919. I’m leaning toward a Ducati monster 1200 but I’ll definitely look into this one
Absolutely beautiful, even more than a harley. Crucify me.
For simple performance upgrade check out Zippers Performance. They mainly do Harley but they do have an air cleaner , exhaust package that produces a good increase in output for the $$.
Hey Blockhead, I’d love to see you review a 2019 Chieftain.
To solve the ergonomic issues I put the mini ape hanger bars on and problem solved. If you're tall look into the Indian far reach seat too. I did both.
Great video really enjoyed it although where I come from your riding on the wrong side of the road ha. Best regards from the UK
I’m 5”10 considering to get this one , not it to long rides , I guess I won’t have the problem of a sore lower back, but if I do , would a different handle bar fix the problem?
Great review. Do the dark horse next !
Beautiful bike
Is it possible to change the foot pegs and shifting mechanism closer so my legs aren’t all the way in the front
I own a bobber. Just rode a fxdr yesterday. The riding stance is very similar. Very stretched out. And yes. The stock seat leaves much to be desired
If you don't my me asking what was your OTD price? What state?
GHOS7v im in Canada. So for us MSRP is $15,500. Plus tax plus pdi. So that put my at about $18,000 out the door. Exchange rate to US is 25% which would put you at just under $15k out the door.
About time you review the Indian Bobber, and get off the Harley kool aid. Indian did a great job on that bike, looks, performance, and price range. Looks like a missile, and ride like one when you get on it.
Put a mustang seat on mine and loosened the suspension. Made s huge difference
I love this bikes aesthetics of this bike. I've vlbeen looking at the vulcan 650 s for my first bike butbi love this thing
What would you do differently with the bars?
This motorcycle looks so gorgeous it makes me want to learn how to ride a motorcycle
Can u do a review on the Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black? I narrowed my bike selection down to 3 bikes. Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black, Indian Scout, and Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer. Having a hard time deciding on which bike.
Nice looking bike for sure
Perfect video for me, great review! Really want one of these but being 6'3 220 lbs I'm afraid it will be too uncomfortable.
Hey thanks for the detailed introduction of the motorcycle. Now I have some offers from some driving schools here in Germany and I will make the driving license this year xD although 2400€ is really heavy, oh never mind :P
oh my god you really did it !
I'll be looking forward to see what Polaris does with Indian now that they've discounted the Victory's.
How did you NOT drag peg on that whole ride? I took a 2 hour test ride and was dragging peg all over the place. It was a blast. I love this bike and am seriously considering buying one along with a bulk box of those peg feelers. And that faux springer seat that Indian sells? So sexy.
The greatest thing Indian learned from Harley was merchandising. It helps that they are fairly easy to swap.parts on from what I've been told
Cool video that’s the bike I have and I love it. I hear a lot of the same things about the seat and suspension but I don’t think it’s bad. This is my first bike though so I don’t know any better v
