No ability to turn off traction control on this 12 passat tdi Stock it already just peels out so it's useless to try and get anyone off the line. Keep posting as I've been seriously considering these mods.
A good set of tires goes a long ways, my alh is useless on stocks 1-3 but with better tires it atleast makes 2nd useable. Is there not a kit for the nms Passat to install a traction control button?
I’m currently on Continental extreme contact sports and they hook up so good. Look forward to the extra power and torque of stage 3+. USP motorsports makes a traction control kit for the NMS Passat. But it has to be coded in through VCDS. I have my button ran through my console right next to the gear selector.
@@austineverett5463 that should be fun, I wanted to just get a simple cr170 turbo for this car but I already had a spare engine/trans that came with a turbo so I couldn’t justify the extra money. I’m looking into another cr car to play with that’s not my wife’s daily.
@@JoshsJettas Is this the most affordable tuning setup available for a ecu and dsg tune for a tdi sportwagon? Also can you delete the dpf with the flazhzilla pro?
Hi new subscriber you have a lot of great videos in your library Just a quick question My vw golf mk6 tdi Dsg. When I start it up put it into drive then accelerate to take off the green Light on the dashboard comes on so I have to take my foot off the accelerator back on the Brake pedal and then the car will take off. It happens only on startups any idea what could that be? I really appreciate any help. Thank you.
Funny thing is when my DSG and ECU tune. The DSG in 6th gear down shift into 4th in a second when I push the peddle to the floor. Which strikes me odd that it can do that on the same gear shaft.
Can you show some block 11 logs on the TDI? Fighting overboost and would like to see a tuned graph of someone not overboosting. How much psi of boost are you pushing?
I’ve read about cold air intakes helping the “ramp up” of the turbo, and smoothening out the tail end. S&B was the brand of cold air box. Can’t remember the video I seen of it, I’ll try to find it.
You removed the dpf without a tune? Yes your going to require one or else you’ll have lots of codes and engine fans will always run. Check out tunezilla or Mr tuning
I had planned on it, when I was getting this car together I spent more then planned doing maintenance stuff so it got put on the back burner. That was part of the reason I went with MR Tuning is the stage 2 didn’t require a dsg tune.
I’ve done videos both with MR Tuning and tunezilla, I’d recommend both. The 2015’s require a specific coolant line as well so you have to make sure the delete pipe comes with that as well.
Im going to be tuning and deleting as I can afford it. I had a mk7 and flashed a Malone Stage 2 without deleting then had to sell the car. Can I do the DSG tune at any time during this process?
Stag 0.5 no DSG tune. I find people who go high stage, big turbo blow the trans, manual, clutch and DSG.... No thank you. It's not a race car it is a diesel, which is to be economical and reliable.

I went 2 on my Jetta manual. Replaced the clutch at 206,000 miles because the dual mass was dead. Car now has over 230,000 miles on the original turbo. If you drive the car like you want to get good mpg, it'll have no additional wear over the lower HP tune, because you're not using that additional power. It's just nice to have it there when you need to pass someone.
Thanks Josh, I'm definately going to purchase the Flashzilla Pro.
Definitely a good option, especially if you’ve got multiple TDI’s
Any codes present? Intermittent issues can be difficult
As always, thanks man! Great video! I need to do this to my CKRA Passat.
It was on my list but I kept putting it off, feels dialed now. Just have to do the dmf next.
When I originally looked into tuning my Jetta wished this was available.
I agree, not having to buy a powergate/tunezilla for every car is nice
Helpful video man, thanks!

Haha, literally doing this to my wife's car in the morning after I finish installing my Rawtek kit.
Sure makes the car alot more enjoyable

I noticed that as well the more I drive it, a very quick smooth shift straight from 6th to 4th

Hey Josh what tuner will do the ECU & flash the DSG both?
The flashzilla pro in this video will do ecu and dsg through Tunezilla

Planning on doing Mr tuning 1 + 2 vs Malone .5 and 2. Not sure where there’s a local dyno but probably 0-100 with the dragy again.
Do you leave the device hooked up or unplug when you are done tuning
Unplug once it’s tuned

Dose it need disconnected or installed?
@@JoshsJettas mrtunings flowdirekt kit doesnt come with that? i just ordered everything from him.
There’s a stainless egr line that comes with the 15 specific kit. As long as you order it for the 2015 you should be set

Yes I believe the mk7 doesn’t need the dsg right away for stage 2 so it can be added on afterwards whenever
How do you modify the tune can you remove specific tunes and just keep what you want?
As far as engine tune add ons? Should be able to go to the tunezilla website and add/remove the add ons or switch to the higher stages.
Any chance you have a new code for the discount ? That code posted doesn’t work lol
Try clicking the direct link, it should automatically apply the discount at check out.
i'd go with malone tuning if the flashzilla wasnt like 300 dollars lol. an mpps cable is only 20 bucks
The pro tool is 150 ish usd, and isn’t vin locked like the regular one. Does mpps do dsg?
Pls answer email i need help car is stuck in limp
