She's actually right. I've lived here for years, and Luxor is mostly overlooked. All kinds of things to do, Walk to the Shops at Mandalay and visit Ri'Ra's Irish pub, you will have a great time.
100!!
@@Dani702100 what?
RiRa has a great menu and live entertainment. Love that pub!

We stayed at Luxor in 2001 and liked it.
Love the Luxor! I’m there every 6 months and always have a great stay in the West Tower. The staff there really go out of their way to ensure excellent hospitality. From the front desk to the Pyramid Cafe, everyone is so kind. Thanks for another great video Dani!
Totally agree. Hotel staff was really friendly and I was so glad they accommodated my room request.
I stayed at the Luxor in the 90’s and the room was Egyptian themed. The casino had more Egyptian stuff too. Nice to see the old Bellagio furniture found a new place. I ❤ the casino at the Luxor 🎰💰💃🏻
So cool! I was wondering if it was better themed when it first opened. That would have been really cool to see.
Great job on showing us the Luxor. I’m staying there a long long time ago and thought it was very nice. I like the quietness of that casino hotel but you did a great job. Thanks for showing it.
Looks like a nice place when you're on a budget. The monorail option is nice! The food options look budget friendly as well. Thanks Dani!
It really is!
Another fun Las Vegas adventure. Thanks Dani the Woo!!!
Great video Dani. Definitely makes me want to start planning my next trip. Thanks and keep smiling.
You should!!
Thanks Dani, glad to see you back.
More to come! 🤓🤓
Love your delivery and enthusiasm Dany. You have a real talent coming through in your videos. Very relaxing and informative. Thank you!
I appreciate that!
This is a great review, Thanks Dani ( Hello Eddie ) 👍 ❤️ ✌️
We are staying at Luxor - for the first time - next month so this was timely and very helpful. It looks a lot nicer than we thought and we’re excited for our stay. Thank you so much!
Luxor was dope in the 90s. I've always wanted to stay there. My favorite part is the "monorail". Thank-you for your content! I miss when the Travel Channel would play their Las Vegas specials in the early 2000s. These videos put me back in those times.
Fantastic review. Thanks for sharing. I am so glad you told us how the sleep quality and noise levels were during your stay. I wish more reviewers would share that information.
Glad it was helpful! Sleep is so important to me lol.
Love what you do Dani. Thanks for all the vids
Hey Dani! 🌟 Your Luxor review is a treat. 😄 I've stayed there a couple of times, and I couldn't agree more about the inclinators - they are quite an experience, especially if you're not entirely sober! 🍹😂 Luxor's got this unique charm, and your video highlights its budget-friendly features really well. Thanks for the tour and all the helpful info as always! ✨💼🍔🏊♀
Thanks for sharing!! I agree on the inclinators. Surprisingly the easiest trip up for me was after happy hour lol.
We have stayed at the Luxor several times over the last 10 years when visiting Vegas. Usually stay in the Tower rooms but have occasionally stayed in the Pyramid. Always have had a clean comfortable room at a reasonable price. Plenty of eating opportunities with some nice lounge areas within the Luxor. Easy walking to the shops at Mandalay Bay and many other attractions. Will be back to the Luxor in October. Thanks for the video.
That's great to hear! I would definitely stay there again.
@@Dani702
I could watch you do reviews on a Hotel 8 in Gary Indiana
Smoke show
We are MGM gold and have stayed at The Luxor recently (April 2023) and had an excellent stay. We had a tower room which was nice and quiet and really loved the bars, and food options. We will be back as we are always offered more freeplay and resort credit at Luxor vs the higher end properties. We aren't fancy, so it works out just fine.
Great video! Luxor tower rooms are pretty nice and the casino floor has a really good vibe!
Totally agree!
I was subbed when you were making Vegas videos before. I'm so glad you're making Vegas videos again. Thanks for the show.
Glad you like them!! Thanks so much for watching.
Thank you Dani ! Very informative and great video.
Glad it was helpful!
Great review thx. We finally made it there recently. It’s a bit more subdued inside than most casinos, which for us was actually refreshing. Cool vaulted interior main area. Cool Egyptian theme is carried throughout. Rooms are clean. Nice pool. Building exterior starting to show age. Staff was very good in our experience. Overall a pretty great deal. Would stay there again. Cheers!
That's what it's about .
The dispelled myth that perks have to include gambling
So, a gold card includes roughly ,
.... $1000 in fun & games . Free parking discount dining ,+ drinks uber/lift services
At the moment for 3 days, anyway then into October for U. 2 at The Sphere
It's because they're
big events.
It won't change the status of the card with charged parking
or resort fees
Not a gold card anyway
These are the recent news reports specific to M. G. M properties
After these events end the limitations of other cards, will be removed.
Nice video Dani! Thanks for the review.
I really enjoyed this video. Very informative. So I liked and subscribed!
A nice informative review. Thank you, Dani.702
GREAT video, Dani! The Luxor looks REALLY good.
The rooms and the food options look nice. As far as the entertainment, I've heard about FANTASY and I've always wanted to go to the House of Blues! 🌆🍸🍹🍾🎰🎲
Another excellent presentation of one of the many forgotten properties on the strip, good value for the single person too, also you look amazing as usual ☺️
Thank you!
I thought it was cool when you were here in Orlando but I LOVE you being back in Vegas! 😍
Me too! I'm hoping we can get back to Orlando at some point for a visit. Still trying to get myself to the CA parks for the spooky season.
Love the video Dani! Luxor is such a wonderful budget property, and for some reason unlike the other budget properties on the strip the 'bad crowd' is kept to a minimum, very few troublemakers. Our team at 247 Hot Wins loves staying there for a break from the Wynn or Bellagio.
I'm hoping I'm making my way up to Wynn and Bellagio! Dream hotels but I really enjoyed Luxor.
@@Dani702 For a "luxury" hotel, Bellagio rooms are a bit outdated and the hotel is too crowded. Wynn/Encore is the best property on the strip but as far MGM properties go, I think Vdara is the best, its modern, centrally located, not crowded and most importantly quiet, so you get a good night's sleep.
I love it there danni we're coming back next May the the tower rooms though glad you had a good time 🙂
Really enjoyed your video. We stayed at The Luxor a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Great job Dani!
Thank you!! 😊 great hotel for being on the cheaper end.
I remember going there as a kid in the 90s. We took the river tour and spent a bunch of money in the arcade. It's changed a lot since then, but luxor and excalibur will always be my favorite vegas nostalgia hotel memories
I've stayed at the Luxor twice, and I love it there! It's not the first casino/hotel people think of staying at, but those lines at the registration desk are always there which tells you how popular it is for a lot of people. I enjoy the Pyramid rooms and especially the view from the hallway to the casino below. As you correctly pointed out, there are great options for shows to see. Fantasy, Carrot Top and the Titanic exhibit are my favorites. So happy to hear you like the Titanic exhibit too. The first time I actually got emotional at the end of it when looking up the passenger I had on the card they give you. You have to be in there to experience it.
I'm glad to see they've added the Public House because the limited food options was my only criticism of the Luxor some years back. The buffet, although inexpensive, is not very good. Great review, covering all aspects like the pool and bars. The price of the rooms is always affordable, even when the resort fees are included. Thank you for your review and glad you had fun there!
Beautiful Las Vegas. Good video. Continue on your road on getting the silver play button
Thanks for being one of the few people here to say that the Luxor is pretty cool! Too many people are like “it’s haunted, it’s dated, it’s tacky” ITS FINE! It’s more than fine it’s a hidden gem on the strip that doesn’t charge you an arm and a leg
Totally agree! It's a very underrated property. Sure, it's not brand new, but what do people expect? It's a pyramid, for God's sakes! Ever heard of a new Pyramid being constructed? LOL
Dani, awesome video and room tour. We stayed here way back in the 90’s. That inclinator feeling is weird. I almost got dizzy. The room was just as big as yours. I think I hit my head, trying to look our the window. Thank you. Also, back then, they had a narrated boat ride that went around the inside. It was cool, but they shortly took it out…not sure why!
Lol I didn't think about that... taller people may definitely need to watch there heads. Ya the elevator definitely made me dizzy.
I love the Luxor. I’ve stayed there quite a few times and for some reason I feel most at home in their casino. I did hear quite a few ghost stories during one of my stays there. Coming from Luxor employees made them even better and I found myself paying better attention to my environment.
Great review as always thank you.
First! The wife and I always love your videos! Keep up the good work!
Thank you both!!! 😀
I would love to stay at the Luxor. Once again, great job with the video content!
You should! It was a fun stay.
Thanks to you I have been able to enjoy the Luxor because of all the times I’ve been to Vegas I never went inside the place and I really think it is a gorgeous resort and your room for the price you paid I thought was well worth it and I also loved the view outside but I must say the pool area was truly magnificent also from what you showed I thought there were some wonderful food options, now I must thank you for taking the time to show what the Luxor has to offer also I hope your stay there was good now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Dani And Eddie and I’ll see you on the next awesome Vegas adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
Heck ya! We really enjoyed the Luxor. I hope you did too!
Great to see you featured more in the video!!
Thanks!
You know what I'm here for !!!!
The view of Dani at the pool perhaps?
Congratulations! on 34K
Great pyramids, Dani!
I got that one! Well played!
GREAT VIDEO DANI I LOVE U❤!!!!
Very interesting, cheers from Australia.
That was the first hotel I stayed at in Vegas, back in the mid 90’s. The inclinator was awesome to ride. Everyone would stumble a little when it started or stopped, when drunk it was even more fun. Had a King suite with the jacuzzi right up by the window. Good times!
I had to brace myself each time we got in those inclinations. Lol.
Thanks Dani! Great review.
Glad you liked it!
At last I’ve found someone else who likes rooms onhigh floors - away from ice machines and elevators - 😅 nice review for a place I remember and went to when it 1st opened - it was the biggest attraction back in the day with the inclinators ! (Elevators)
Great simple vid!
Great video! I think you nailed it - the Luxor is a great value if you are being budget conscious. It's clean and easy to get to Mandalay Bay, so you kind of have two resorts in one.
100! We really enjoyed our stay at the Luxor.
Great job on the video ❤
Fun video! Liked, subscribed.
My first time going to Vegas we stayed at Luxor. I was fascinated by this awesome Egyptian theme hotel. This place holds a special place for me.
You are so beautiful and gorgeous Dani, and I'm continually glad you're back doing these vlogs, as I loved them from the start. Your husband is a very lucky man! ❤
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for the video! Very good value for money. I wish you had shown how the inclinator climbs! I have heard back in the day, they had canals like Venetian where there were boat rides.
Going next month, probably my 12th time. Its the best buy on the strip! Cool chill vibe and not crazy expensive. Spa is great. One tip… if you want a room upgrade, waiting in the line is well worrh it!!
I’ve been coming to Vegas regularly for years but have never spent a significant amount of time in Luxor. Mostly just passing through on the way to Mandalay. Thanks for the extensive tour.
My pleasure!
I stayed in the Luxor pyramid last year and had no issue with it...but...the inclinators left me with wobbly legs for sure. To be fair, I wasn't entirely sober while riding them 😁 Looking forward to staying in one of their tower rooms in the future. Thanks for the tour!
Quick head rush up and down! Lol
I’ve been on UA-cam for over 13 years. Id rank your thumbnail in the top 5 I’ve ever seen. 😊
SO GLAD U AND UR HUSBAND GET TO ENJOY LAS VEGAS!!!!
Love Diablo's Cantina. I also love Ri Ra Irish Pub in Mandalay Place. I did not make it to South Strip during my labor day weekend stay. I was not feeling well, so after my shows I walked the strip and went to bed early.
Sorry to hear you didn't feel good. I hope you enjoyed other parts of your trip.
I really miss the 1990s Luxor when it had the Nile River attraction and really leaned in to the theming hard. I've heard about some cleanliness issues and seen some unflattering videos of stays back in the spring and early summer. It doesn't look too bad now. Great review! Thanks!
The Nile river was so darn cool!!!
When an NCAA tournament team (cough*UCONN*cough)checks out because of VOMIT in their rooms......
@@donaldpaluga they ended up at Resorts World for their troubles. Not a bad upgrade! 😂😂
@@andrewpettola6097 and for their trouble they got a shiny trophy!
We have been staying at the Luxor since 2008 and absolutely love it!! We are back again in January for a week
That's awesome!
Thank you Dani...
Nice accommodations Dani
I visit Vegas around 4 times a year & stay & do the Wynn only, but it’s cool to see you visit other casinos .. cool review
Cool hotel! Great job with the narration, and views of it on the inside too. $67.77 per night sure is a great deal. The lowest I ever paid for a hotel stay was $63.92 for one night in a hotel in Ohio. If I ever visit Vegas, I may choose this hotel as a plan B if the Excalibur prices are too high at the time I intend to visit.
In all my years of staying in many many hotels and motels I have never stayed at a place that made you rent a refrigerator. This alone would keep me from staying at the Luxor. You probably paid about a $30.00 resort fee but yet that did not include a refrigerator. A shame because the room was pretty cool and the rate is really cheap. Glad you stayed in the pyramid room as I have been always curious what that would look like and now i know thanks to you. So many empty tables at the Public House yet they had a line to get in. Guess they are just slow getting you seated but looked like a pretty cool place to eat. Looks like you had a lot of fun, thanks for the video.
When I started going to Vegas on the regular back in 2014… Luxor and Monte Carlo were my go to.
I always stayed in the tower, but have wanted to stay in the pyramid because I hear the elevator is quite the experience.
Dooo it! Lol I want to try a tower room too though.
The inclinators leading up to the Pyramid rooms are very unique, and so is the slanted window. Just be careful you don't hit your head when getting close to the window!
I stayed at the Luxor alot back in the day, loved the fact that you could walk to the other casinos without stepping outside in the cold or heat, BTW CarrotTop is hilarious, glad you and Eddie enjoyed your stay
Totally agree!
YES. I've seen Carrot Top twice. He's irreverent, quirky, and unique. Also self-depreciating, which I love.
I perform at Disney World so when I go on vacation I go to Vegas and stay at the Luxor all the time and love it. The a/c sucks but other than that it's a great place to stay for a couple nights on the cheap :) Thanks for doing the video.
Luxor has a special place in my heart. My wife and I got married there by a mini Elvis. I have used that monorail many times. I miss the Gondola ride they use to have. Hoping to make it back there again next year.
I love that! Mini Elvis!! Lol the boat ride was so cool and they had the best arcade.
Good review.
Looks yummy enjoy it
It was
Luxor is/was our favorite home away from home for our annual Vegas trip every January. Our last time there was January 2020, right before the Pandemic kicked off. Funny story; the first time we came to Vegas in maybe 2011, we stayed at the Lux and of course didn't know where anything was or what we were doing. We hadn't done any real research or looked at any pics/vids, so we thought (this was it). We exited the building in the back, between the garage and Mandalay Bay, and we thought THAT was 'The Strip' 😂 😂 I was telling my wife, "You know how people hype stuff to make it sound better than it is!" We kept walking (and walking and walking and walking) and eventually found our way 😂 😂
I always stay in the tower rooms they are closer to the pools and spa the spa is awesome too my buddy is staying there next week
Wow was that a book of matches you showed , That's a pretty rare thing , I also like the south end , Real close to those outlets. Close the bass pro shop , A lot easier to hop on the freeway down there also , Super informative great job guys thank you , Take care
Yes it was! I had to grab one for my collection.
Its a great Hotel Dani, just the 2nd worst location. Awesome video again guys!!
Hah ya the ends of the strip can be a bummer if you wanna hit multiple spots.
I just downloaded the app because of your last brunch buffet video! Super fun but kills my battery lol! Thanks for the suggestion. I love free stuff!
Lol I tend to leave it running on autospin and walk away but you'll definitely need your charger.
I remember when Luxor was a top shelf hotel. I remember when they had RA. They also had a review that said no tennis shoes. Like firm I asked. It's been awhile since I been to Vegas probably since 06. We seen Blueman there a couple of times.
Thanks!
The luxor is cool. I like how some hotels connect to other hotels. The elevator is different, but I don't like walking near the ledge, lol
It's so handy when they connect. Especially in the summer. 😉
Cute ☺ 🥰 claw clip Dani.
I've stayed at the Luxor several times over the years, and yes the tower suites are incredible! The last time time I stayed there though, and it was the last time unfortunately, we found a huge turd in our toilet upon entering the room after checking in. Thing is, the toilet seat was down, and it had that plastic tape that stated the bathroom had been cleaned. I immediately called the front desk, they were very apologetic and changed our room to an upper front Strip view. Unfortunately it was a very busy Vegas weekend, most resorts had sold out, so it wasn't like our party could just leave to another place.
lol
The Luxor is a really unique & cool idea .
Even with just the point of admiring it
It cant be said
Oh, yeah, we used to have one of these in Wisconsin
It isnt a motel 6 😃
I like Luxor as a budget stay and I have stayed in a Pyramid room. That inclinator is wild at first. I would stay again
Hey dani the luxor hotel is nice on the inside I have been inside back in 2019 after my brother graduated from high school and then after that me and my family went to the Westgate hotel and we ate at the one of the most expensive restaurants
That's awesome. 😀
11:45 that juicy burger looks so delicous!
WOW....awesome video So what website did you use to book the Luxor??? Travelocity, Expedia, Kayak etc... Also did the $67 a night include resort fees?? Thanks for sharing. Keep the videos coming. Video Idea: Hey the MSG Sphere opens Sept 29th. I know alot of people will be coming to Vegas for the big opening. Maybe you could do a video review on the Sphere??? I'm sure the video would get a ton of hits. Thanks again for all you do.
I book from the hotel website. I don't use a 3rd party or anything. 67 was my final price. I would like to show the Sphere but its well over my budget. Maybe once the hype lowers, I noticed the prices go down after a few months of it being opened.
I was at the Luxor for opening back in the day for my honeymoon at 2:00AM. We stayed in the Pyramid very sexy I thought. I’ve stayed there numerous times since. It has such a vibe I can’t keep away.
How cool is that!
Love the pyramid hotel look good
It's a pretty good spot.
Really a fine hotel
The room looks awesome
hope to book a stay there someday
I hope you enjoy it if you do stay!
@@Dani702 oneday but I got a room at the paris in Dec hahaha
I've stayed at Luxor. I liked the place.
We stayed in a one bedroom suite in the tower. It was very nice. We will definitely stay again.
Good to know! I want to try a tower room and compare.
Stayed in the Pyramid and our room overlooked the airport. Was too cool after a day of gaming, touring and things to put my feet up and watch the jets .
I've stayed in the pyramid pretty much every time I've gone to Vegas for the past few years and I've always enjoyed my stay. Sure it's a bit dated but I love it!
That's awesome!
Ever heard of a "new" pyramid? It's supposed to be dated, (Just kidding with you). The Pyramid in Khufu in Egypt is over 2,00 years old! Lol.
I enjoy your show. That is all. 👋
I've only stayed once but on the 3rd floor, so I didn't have the slanted rooms. I did ride in the inclinator a few times. I make a point to go there each time I'm in Vegas, which hasn't been since March 2020...I need to fix that.
