Yes 5hat place is huntedAF!!! My husband and i stayed there and it was cold spots in our room! Something touched me in my sleep and my hubby was in the restroom. It was just wierd.

First time watching your videos and definitely enjoyed it. Wished you would of explained at the end of the video if you experienced any paranormal activity during the night. For $36 I definitely need to check it out. Also the Rio hotel and casino is supposed to be haunted from what I heard.

1- the Steakhouse at the top of Binions is really good (food & service both). Definitely try it sometime! 2- Always check all the locks, lights, water, a/c and heat the moment you check in to any room so it can be resolved quickly if there are any issues. 3- No key is needed to access the 4th floor where that haunted room is located. You just didn’t notice where to turn & find the entryway. 4- My husband & I had that room on the fourth floor booked for a whole weekend, and something so simple odd happened that we packed up and left after the first night. 😂 We were freaked out!
I love the old school feel of downtown as well as the history of those hotels. Trying to talk my wife into staying downtown on our next trip...probably El Cortez, but this place is looking just as neat.
El Cortez has vintage small rooms like this room. El Cortez has nice tower rooms also. I've never stayed at Apache but I stay at Plaza and El Cortez when downtown. Don't stay at Golden Gate.
I'm not sure. I had been checking rates for about 2 months. I originally wanted to do it for Halloween but didn't get the time. The cheapest I saw was a standard at $45 but then the economy showed up the other day. Probably weekdays for that rate
Great vintage room. When I'm on vacation, I basically need a bed and a shower. Awesome price. I don't mind the ghosts. We've had a few run-ins before. Lol!
I have stayed at 2 small old school hotel rooms downtown El Cortez (vintage rooms) are AWESOME but resort fee. And the Golden Gate shower tiles were gross but ya get into Stadium Swim at Circa included with stay. I will stay here next but I am a light sleeper so I probly won't be able to sleep but I'm only a 1.5 hr drive home.
We stayed at the Apache in November. We wanted the old school feel. We loved it. Check in was great we were 3 hours early and they let us in. Those prices for the steak house aren’t too bad really. It includes your sides. Most places like that now are “a la carte”. I loved your video on the Apache.
Staying 5 nights Xmas week at Apache, thanks for the preview. Stayed at Binion's in 2007 before the hotel closed, the rooms were so old (1960's? remodel), but they were $19 a nite. My room was above the casino floor, (which is Apache now) and there was an elevator that was right on the casino floor. Last I looked the elevator had been walled off, it was probably the original elevator you had mentioned. Nice work Dani, new subscriber here.
Oh that is awesome. Just bring some earplugs or maybe a white noise machine. ☺️ If they take request, I'd recommend a corner or just away from the elevator.
Wow, you can't go wrong with this hotel. Disney couldn't do any better with the theming of the room. It looks so cozy. Plus close access to good food, I envy you. All it needs is a lazy river, a haunted lazy river, that would be a first! Thanks for sharing Dani, have fun! 😊
I absolutely love it! I gamble at Binion's anyway, so I might as well try the rooms. The tower was acquired from the old Mint Hotel in 1988 and closed in the early 2000's.
I heard about a lady that stayed there. When she checked in she had red hair but when she checked out she had white hair. They asked her if her stay was okay? She replied no, it is too scary here. :(

I have never won anything in there though. Oh wow....Creepy at room 263. I love that vintage room. So neat. You can hear everything...haha! 😆 We have eaten at the BBQ place and it was ok. We love the Binion's Cafe, and usually eat there when we stay on Fremont for a late night snack - I love the Binion's burgers! Whiskey Licker up is one of the best places to eat on Fremont. Thank you for this very thorough review! Great job as always.

We can see the Apache Hotel from our room in the Fremont. My husband didn't believe that you could still get a room there at the Apache. The place is awesome and so historic. Great video!
Here's a funny thought: The room appears quite compact with a flat-panel TV flush against the wall, but can you imagine what it was like with a big CRT TV in there?

Great history! I played at Binion’s in the early 2000s and took a picture in front of the Poker Hall of Fame wall with the World Series of Poker winners on it. I watched WSOP every year through the 2000s so going here was a highlight of my trip.
Looking at one of the hotels with old skool character for a trip from the UK. Nearly everyone I know from here heads to the Luxor or a Caesars but I'm not bothered about that. Places like the Golden Gate look more cool to me. I'd stay at the Apache just fine I reckon. More cash to spend.

I love Binnions and that is a great price, but I hate that the room doesn't have any kind of view from the window! Good for a short stay but I'd defos pay extra for a bit of a view. It would be good fun to do a bit of ghost hunting at night lol! xx
That is true. One of two nights would be good. Might get crowded with more then one person and not having an outside view like you mentioned though. The other rooms are bigger but I'm not sure they have a window at all since the economy rooms had the street side.
Creaking doors and floorboards are a must for a haunted hotel. Maybe sometime soon you can stay in one of the haunted rooms. 👻 Make it a Halloween special! 😂
Great Video, I can remember eating at a restaurant in the basement, They had the best Steak and Eggs, sadly they closed it a few years ago!! Did you have any nightmares during the night? ;-)

i have only stayed on Fremont Street once, at the D. The check in they told me i'd be high enough up to not hear the noise from the street, needless to say that was not true. For that reason alone, I won't stay downtown...i know it's Vegas, but i do need SOME sleep! LOL

Just booked the Apache for $45/night for 4 nights, mid week, mid December. $180 total +$23 in taxes for $203.

I didn't park. I liked it for the nostalgia, but it was very loud, and couldn't sleep.

I looked a room to book 4 nights in January at $80 and it come out to $687. Odd
I just tried to book it thru expedia for 3 nights. 1 queen bed. Came to $500.

I stayed in the Mint and Horseshoe many times in the 70's and 80's and it is not haunted. Just a promotion ploy.
The golden Gate is about 24 years older than the binions, and they had the first telephone. Also haunted as well.

Woah! Creepy room but certainly “historic”. That being said $32 is pretty expensive compared to players club offers at CET hotels.
No resort fees and no need to be a players member to get it. 😀

Definitely. Golden gate had cheaper rooms but they have a hotel fee. Another one I really like is El Cortez.

The casino is pretty smokey. My room was non-smoking and didn't smell at all.

i have only stayed on Fremont Street once, at the D. The check in they told me i'd be high enough up to not hear the noise from the street, needless to say that was not true. For that reason alone, I won't stay downtown...i know it's Vegas, but i do need SOME sleep! LOL
Ya you might need ear plugs. I've stayed at golden nugget a few times though with no issue.
