I lived with a sociopath for way too many years . This future faking was so abusive and did so much damage to my life !
I only met two men in my life that were marriage material. They treated me with such respect. Unfortunately, I wasn’t ready to be married but I learned I was worth something.

Same! I started w/ Tony gaskins about seven months ago and I just found his channel a few days ago and I've learned so much and really started to heal.
My exhusband told his side piece the same thing. I left his behind and at the divorce he cried like a baby because he claimed he didn't want the divorce. I still divorced him and he of course ended up with her, because I left him. He wasn't gone ever leave and I knew that. She didn't she was posting all over FB that he was leaving me, until she saw them divorce papers that said I was the petitioner and he was the respondent.

@@nodramallama4698 Our situations are so similar, 22 yrs married but he cheated with and my so called best friend. I was devastated they have also been married 10+ years. I received a text message from her in February 2020 telling me how sorry she was for what happened, I let her know that I forgave her and had let go of that situation a long time ago. God will deliver us through anything, we just have to trust him and serve him. I have prospered and been blessed through my relationship with God.

Davinity, you are so correct. As narcissists age, they just get more deep into their traits, like cement curing and getting more firm over time. We have to be fruit inspectors if we want to deal with the male gender. That's my take.

Told him 3 years was enough to decide if he wanted to marry me n he said yes. So 3.5 years came but still no talk of engagement or wedding. It's hard bc he proposed to a woman years ago only after 2 months. That's embarrassing n hurtful to me. I love myself n I deserve true love.
As hurtful as that may have been he was not for you. I recently broke off an engagement after years of wasted time. When I became honest with myself I knew he was the right person for me.

I was this woman 4 years ago. I finally got it. But then got with other bad relationships but since this self isolation. I've been working on me. Made a few shirt to keep me out of those bad situations. Now am getting closer to God , reading my Bible .And staying to myself.
I wish I heard this before I got married. I had left him, but he convinced me to a church that then used every scripture against me, so I would stay. After 12 years, God gave me courage to flee his violence hands and I left for good, with my 6yr, 3yr and 10mth old boys.
