Great video. One note: The old man is basically Mr. Opposite. So it's still not quite clear, what Yharnamites think of Arianna. When he's talking about "Arianna" and how she resents "Adella" for having what she herself doesn't have, the meaning is most likely to be taken the other way around: Adella despises Arianna for having what she doesn't...
Yes, it's true about the Skeptical Man saying the opposite of the truth. It's definitely hard to know what Yharnamites feel about her, but the Healing Church definitely has their eyes on her judging by how Adella reacts.
Nice video! A good insight into Arianna. I came into this game only recently and am glad to find people are still keeping this lore alive years after the game's release. Thanks for sharing!

You can also count Gilbert, the guy who gives you the flamesprayer in the beginning that’s suffering from a critical illness. He tries to help you the best he can from his window. He’s similar to the hunter in a way because he’s a foreign outsider as well I believe and he came to Yharnam for a blood transfusion. It’s a shame he meets an unfortunate end by transforming into a beast.

Curious. If Arianna and her child prove that they cannot survive without the other, then what might’ve happened to the surrogate mothers of all the babies we find in the Orphanage?
I'm certain that those are already orphans. Judging by the Orphanage Key item description, I believe that the Choir collected the forgotten orphans in Yharnam to do experiments on them to make them into celestial children, much like imposter Iosefka did. Others theorize that the orphans are collected and groomed to join the Choir themselves when they grow up and that the experiments are on other Yharnamites. Hey Michela, just found your channel. Really liked this vid about Arianna, it humanized her. Her story reminds me a bit of Fantine from Les Misérables (which if you haven't seen nor read it, seriously wtf? Watch the 1998 version). Someone hypocritically and unjustly cast from society, forced into a life/profession she did not want, to simply survive. And of course, the same persons in said society that vilify her, are all to eager to use her to satisfy their baser desires (while loathing her in the process). Sadly, no matter your actions, death and horror are her only available outcomes. Thank you for bringing some needed depth to this very tragic character (are there any other kind in From games? lol) The other reason I am here is to make a suggestion to you. While looking over several of your vids, I noticed that you seem to enjoy media of this general time period. If so, I HIGHLY recommend BALTIMORE (has nothing to do with the city in Maryland), a comicbook series by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden. Though set during WW1 time period in Europe, it exudes Bloodborne/Bram Stoker's Dracula/Lovecraft feels. Honestly think you'd really love it. I'm of the opinion that it would make an absolutely phenomenal TV series. Anyhoo, if you check it out and like it let me know. Do a review even, as I'd like to know your thoughts.
I love that you brought up Fantine in this - Les Miserables is my all-time favorite musical and the 10th anniversary performance (which I think is the 1998 one you mentioned) is the best one, in my opinion. (Could there BE a better Javert than Philip Quast??) I agree. Like Fantine, the circumstances around Ariana are well beyond her control, and her outcome ends up being tragic no matter what actions you take. You've made me curious about Baltimore now! I'm going to look up more information on it, it definitely sounds interesting and rooted in a time period that I'm fascinated by.
