Thanks for this video! I saw it, I made it, I conquered! My 5 kids ate through 1&1/2 loaves within a few hours 😱 I used Green banana flour and Psyllium Husk instead of wholemeal flour and it filled the whole bowl to the lid. Very happy with finished product. I’ll be making this once a week.
Wow! I would call that a huge success! Well done! Love the alternatives you used there, I bet it was amazing. So, so happy to read that you’ll be doing this regularly! Thank you for watching and commenting! ♥️♥️
Hi there! You can use the food processor to knead the dough, however it didn’t work as well for me (you can see me try this in one of my other videos), and you can prove it in there too, however there’s a bit less space and it can get stuck a bit more - and also you can’t control the temperature in the same way as in a CE.
@@TheFromScratchBody I haven't used it yet, I bought it because there was more than 20% off. Currently, I am still using my 4 years old Kenwood XL titanium stand mixer with 6.7L bowl for weekly mixing of my sourdough bread. Recently, there is a bit of oil leaks from the point of attachment. My first 20 years old Kenwood mixer (white bowl) was made in Britain, I gave it to my sister who is still using it. My 2nd Kenwood was made in China and it was only lasted for 3 years. It was expensive to repair for a plastic part. The authorised Kenwood repairer told me that Kenwood uses plastic part, so it would not last long. There was nothing wrong with the motor as it had five years motor warranty. I normally like to cook using gas stove. I will let you know after using my Magimix XL bowl.

Hello, nice video! Which model of Magimix are you using?
Hi, thank you for your comment! I’m using a Magimix Cook Expert (I think the model number is 18900)
Is there a reason why you make two smaller loaves rather than one bigger one? (I'm totally new to bread making and need to get my tins sorted).
Very good question! I have two smaller tins and also they fit well in the toaster, that’s really the only reason 😅
Can you make the same using the 4200 food processor? Thanks!

I SO wish the Cook Expert were available in the U.S. 😢
Really nice demo.
Thank you for watching! Yes I really wish you could get it where you are, hopefully they’ll expand in the future! 🤞🏼

Thank you - really helpful video.
Is your bowl 4.8L XL bowl? I am considering to buy an extra bowl as the standard double insulated bowl is just 3.5L capacity.
Hi, I believe I have the standard 3.5l but if you are on the fence I'd go bigger, you probably won't regret it!
@@TheFromScratchBodyIn early December, I have received my online purchase of Magimix 4.8L bowl with dough hook attached and a steamer insert.
@@roundtheworld2737 Amazing!!!! How are you finding it? ♥️

I like this machine, but it’s just too expensive. Almost £1000. It’s just too much. For what you’re getting
