I've dried mushrooms, onions, pumpkin, celery, bell peppers, parsley, and baby spinach etc. and keep them in a powdered form to add to sauces like this. (I've got someone in the house who balks at vegetables, especially green ones). Dried garlic powder also. Works really well to "sneak in" the vegies for Mr Fussy. Could technically dry the tomatoes too but he'll eat them as is.

Great recipe Megan. I wonder why you’re cutting the vegetables when it’s supposed to be an all in one??

I have a similar question. Why cut the onions when it has a blade inside? Second does it brown the onions too? Third question how many attachments does it come with? Thanks

Can we use Magimix Cook Expert stainless steel bowl as a grinder? How well can it grind? Can it grind better or worse than Thermomix TM5?

I was just wondering... taking away the lentils and broccoli.... isn't this just a regular salsa pomodoro?

Are you happy with the magi mix? . I had ass Bellini imitation Thermomix that gave up the ghost after 2 years or so and I'm thinking of investing in a new appliance maybe you can tell me your opinion. I love your videos, you look great

Hi Jo. Thanks so much for watching. Yes, this is a great machine. I haven't had a thermo demo so I can't comment on how they compare. The Magimix is great quality and the cook function is very useful for handsfree cooking. I am a huge food processor fan and have loved my Magimix food processor for ever! If you like this type of appliance I think the Magimix is a great high quality option. M xox

I megan, you have also a Vitamin, is't it? Do you think that it worth it to have both vitamin and magi mix? I know that the are not the same, but I was wondering if you stop using vitamin once you have magimix! Thanks

Hi Carlotta, Yes I mostly use the Magimix now! It does everything! I use the Vitamix for smoothies as it is very powerful and very quick to rinse. Megan x
