Yes the Plateau of Gorgoroth lies in Mordor, but it would be a bit strange for Tolkien to bring up Mordor when discussing Beleriand, since that place only gained relevance after the end of the First Age and Beleriand's destruction. And indeed he doesn't. What he is referring to is the Ered Gorgoroth, a mountain chain that separates the Dorthonion highlands from the rest of Beleriand.
Yes, it can be confusing when Tolkien uses the same name for different places, or uses a lot of different names for the same place. He was a philologist after all. But it's not something that should go unnoticed if proper quality checks are done. Stuff like this, and it's not the first error I have spotted, really detracts from otherwise entertaining and informative content when you are a Tolkien fan.
psssst
do battletech
The Elves we're the bratty spoiled children of Arda lol
Lmao every video has a raid shadow legends ad in it 😂 these raid shadows ads are getting out of hand
The elves of Gondolin or Eregion did not live minimalistic life styles
🤟🤟🤟🤟
Are you ever going to do Halo? You keep saying "great journey" which makes me think Halo hahaha. Do the books and video games, NOT the crappy tv show please!
Careful, the Tolkien fanboys are mad because George R. R. Martin has an opinion and disagrees with Tolkien on a few aspects.
Even though TLOTR is his favorite book series...
We only get 1 video a week from you guys so I hate when it’s wasted on economy stuff instead of battles!
شما ها دیگه خیلی کصخلید که درمورد اقتصاد و اجتماع الفا مستند درست کردید،انگار که واقعین
I love your videos, but when I see you misleadingly advertise crap like raid shadow legends, I'm tempted to unsubscribe, and sooner or later I may finally pull the trigger. I understand the need for sponsors, but bullshit like "best mobile game around" is ludicrous. There should be a limit to how artificially one praises a sponsor before they lose all credibility.
