  • This video shows how I drained down my caravan for winter and managed to get significantly more water out of my pipes by using a Floe device. This reduces the chances of freeze/frost damage inside the caravan.
The device is simple to use and doesn't require any electricity or power to operate. If purchasing have to order the model that fit's your pump socket. Mine was a Whale.

    Thanks.
But I thought we should close all taps (including the water heater) before we attach the air compressor and then open them in turn ?
    Have I misunderstood?

I think you should pressurise the pipework with 15psi... and then open the cold tap.... lose the tap... re pressurise to 15 psi... then open the next cold tap... and move on like that... otherwise you won't build up any pressure while the tap is in open position as you are trying to pump air through

From memory, I think it tells you in the instructions to keep the pressure around 4psi and that's why I took it gently on the pump. Regards

When you did the kitchen and bathroom taps, you did cold first, then hot. But on the shower you did hot first, then cold. Is there any significance to this?
