That’s brilliant thank you. Have you posted your other video yet? I was going to remove my outside tap, take out the check valve, use floe then put a new outside tap, with a check valve back on the van. My idea is to keep the old rap with floe just for drain down

I will do the drain down with my DIY adapter in a few weeks Beverly. I was going to the same as your plan but decided not to buy another tap. Thanks for the comment, you are the first one to do one. If you are at Camber I have piping if you decide to make one.

Thank you, but I’m not. However, since my comment, my plumber told me you can buy taps without a check valve and it should be ok to use all the time without changing back as it’s only for my hosepipe. £5 later and it’s now on my caravan ready for drain down. I paid £27.95 for a brand new portable floe system, so still a lot cheaper than the £70 the professionals want! I think a lot of it is scare tactics

My outside tap for the hosepipe is connected to the pipe which feeds the caravan. My thoughts were, by not having a tap with the check valve, there is a possibility that I could contaminate my water supply should anything decide to go via my tap. I may be wrong. Good luck, I’m sure if the plumber says it’s okay go for it.
