Great video. I bought my first caravan last month after watching your video's for the last year to gain as much knowledge as possible. Your videos have been a huge help to learn and continue to learn all things caravan. I knew next to nothing about caravaning beforehand so thanks very much and keep the great vids coming 👍
Brill video Mark. Thanks for sharing. We have been using a Floe device for many years, after one of our taps cracked after freezing, despite the tap being left open over winter.
Great video. I bought my first starter caravan last month after watching your video's for the last 12 months to gain as much knowledge as possible. Your videos are brilliant and have been so helpful whilst learning and continuing to learn all things caravaning 👍
Once you have blown the taps through then you would open the yellow valve, but if you open the yellow valve it wont get the water out of the taps. The pipe work to the yellow tap will drain properly, but its the water held in the taps that cause the problem as this then freezes and damages the taps, once blown through you would then leave the taps open and then open the yellow valve at the very end.
Hi Steven, yes any caravan with plastic panels can split unfortunately, if its a good quality fully breathable cover they are good but you have to spend a lot for a good cover. I personally like the roof covers as they are easy to fit and keep the roof clean but let the caravan breath naturally. Hope this helps.
I tried this method but couln't get any air to flow past the connector. The air only started to flow through once I switched on the water pump. Do you know why that is?
Your pump maybe stopping the flow, It maybe worth disconnecting the water pimp and connecting a small piece of pipe in its place. It maybe OK to just turn the pump on as it will make sure no water is left in the pump, but just make sure it can handle the extra pressure as it has seals inside.

Thanks for watching our video and glad it helped. Thank you.
I lower jockey wheel right down, let gravity work, water won't run uphill 😊
Good idea 👍

Great video. Many thanks.Shouldnt you have left the yellow valve open to flush that area through?

What about the outside filter do you take it out for winter
Well spotted I missed it! Yes if you have a filter installed remove this also, as it may hold a small amount of water so better safe than sorry.
