My 600-lb Life is an American reality television series that has aired on the TLC television network since 2012. Each episode follows a year in the life of morbidly obese individuals, who usually begin the episode weighing at least 600 pounds (270 kg), and documents their attempts to reduce their weight to a healthy level. Update episodes, called "Where Are They Now?", feature one or more previous patients, picking up a year or more after their original episodes aired.
Patients are placed under the care of Iranian-American Houston surgeon Younan Nowzaradan (often referred to as simply "Dr. Now"), who first has them attempt losing weight on their own by following a strict diet, and then depending on the patient's progress may offer gastric bypass surgery or sleeve gastrectomy to further assist in weight loss. - Розваги
I love how so many of these people on this show say “When I was younger, I wasn’t treated well/My parents neglected me”. Then they continue the cycle of being a bad parent

Bethany is abusing her kids. They have no life at all apart from catering to her every single minute of the day. Sheldon needs to take those girls and leave and let that selfish monster look after herself. IM FUMING!! 😤🤬

Hey! So funny enough I worked with Bethany at a weed and pest company in Oklahoma. Sheldon did leave and she did not have custody of the youngest. While working there she was arrested “allegedly” for money laundering then brought back in like nothing happened the next day. She had a new man Doug. He was a sever alcoholic and she was basically the main provider for them both. I hope she’s doing okay now she was a pretty nice person to work with.
Bethany is abusing not only her own body, but her whole household.I feel really bad for her daughters, especially the eldest.
And the kids are fat too.
All these people have significant others and I can’t even get a text back. Life is so ironic
I noticed no matter how fat a woman gets she can still get a man .not so for men
Codependency and fear are not good foundations for a relationship. If you lower your standards to rock bottom, you too could have what these people have but you probably have more integrity. Everyone around these feasters are enablers and abusers (except the poor kids who never stood a chance to learn how to be human).

The sheer volume of food and the amount of time they spend eating is astounding.
I want so badly to hug the eldest daughter of the first woman. She seems like such a genuine, loving person and I hope and pray she realizes that she deserves better; that she will find someone who reciprocates the love she has to give and she is not indebted to a woman who only takes.
I was planning on making chocolate chip cookies. I think I'll skip that. lol
Serious business: Working out is an every day thing for me. But some days I’m just tired and low energy and unmotivated. I’ll throw in an episode of this and immediately I get my motivation back. 😂. I hit them weights HARD.
Who pays for all that food that cost a lot of money I can barely pay for normal eating?

My heart is bleeding for this little girl & the other daughter. How DARE this woman (who calles herself a mother) put this burden on her innocent children . I see a lot of my old toxic thoughts in the behavior of these folks. I was very much addicted to crap food, and sugar. Thankfully last September I started getting my life going in a very healthy direction. I’m down 58 pounds in the last six months and dropped my A1c from a 9.9 to a 5.8 currently. These videos are constant reminders of what I never want to go back to. Granted, I was nowhere near the size of the people on the show, but I can see some of my past behaviors in what they do.

"I'm starving" has become their favorite expression... Come on, words have meanings. If you stopped eating now, you wouldn't starve before one month at the very least.
The first step : she needs to make / cook her own meals. Not let anyone bring meals to her. Because when you are cooking, you will feel full during that time. Cooking takes time and effort.

Since fast takeaway food was on the scene, people now eat in their cars. I don’t remember eating in the car as a kid, or as a young adult.🤷🏼♀️

What nobody says: buy a table and sit on it to eat, the whole family. Food is also an addiction, but it's easily passed on to the children. And sitting on a 'not so comfortable' chair, rather than a bed or sofa will say much more: now we eat, now we don't. Make it a ritual. And No soda's, NEVER. Tapwater, chilled. We are not build for sugary drinks (or even zero) !!!!!! Also use proper tableware ( and knife and fork) and - a cloth.

Sorry for saying it, but when your 7-year-old has to put your socks on, lady...you shouldn't feel LIKE a burden, you ARE a burden. And you need to eat something while your daughter makes breakfast?? Come on...JEEZ!! And to think I used to feel really bad being 6 foot 4 and weighing 240. Now I'm still 6' 4" but I've lost 130 pounds.

If you’re 6’4 and weigh 110 pounds you have either a severe physical illness, or severe mental Illness winding up being an eating disorder cuz I’m 5’8 150 and get told how I’m too skinny constantly
@@_miseenplace23 Physical illness. Hyper thyroidism, heart disease, COPD, atrial fibrilation, severe emphysema. But right now, I have put quite a bit of weight back on. I am 181 pounds. Which means that I am healthy enough to have my thyroid removed, hyatal hernia repaired and a cardiac ablation done. So I should be golden.
How can you expect your daughter/son/sibling to change and have a better life when you (and other family members) are indulging yourself in the same way!!!
One of the biggest motivation for my weight loss is my family being healthy. They don't eat junk food, but they'd buy me it if i asked for it, there was little to no rejection of it, which is why it was hard for me to leave that lifestyle.
Also, for anyone out there looking to weight loss, don't follow the diet facade, change your lifestyle, this "diet" isn't a temporary thing, otherwise you'd gain back the weight you lost.
Watching these children be their personal maid/chef/assistance/caretaker makes me so mad

These are the people who should take Ozempic to help them to lose weight because it literally makes you feel like you’re not hungry anymore. It’s expensive to use, but the fact that you can lose a lot of weight to get a surgery to reduce your stomach size is important to do. I wasn’t even trying to lose weight and I lost 50 pounds because I’m diabetic and I was prescribed it for my diabetes treatment. I only use one shot per week and I still lost weight. Some people are using it daily for weight loss and it really works, but you lose more muscle mass than you lose fats. Keep trying to exercise while you’re on Ozempic to keep your muscles strong to offset the amount of muscle mass you lose. Dr. Now can prescribe it for weight loss if you’re interested in losing weight to qualify for surgery. ❤

It’s the corn syrup in your foods in the USA, that makes you eat more. We don’t have it in our food here in Australia. Only have cane sugar or other plant based sweeteners. We can’t buy corn syrup. We do have morbidly obese people, but not like this.

I was abt 20 lbs overweight due to meds i used to be on slowing down my metabolism. Im off them now. But when i saw that number on the scale it made me think of this show! Im losing the weight now but i cant imagine how these ppl feel😮

I'm sorry but the fact alot of the people on this show use oh I was saed or similar is just something they use as a crutch to try and justify the way they eat. They are way to many people who have been sa and don't resort to crazy eating to deal with it. So many of these people rely on playing the victim to justify what they are choosing to do. Food does not help you heal from the trauma from something like that. You have to come to terms with what happened to be able to start healing from that trauma. Using food in this manner is just a way to avoid dealing with issues they rather not deal with because it takes effort. If anything it boils down to greed and selfishness. Their weight doesn't only affect them but those around them. Some kids get pulled from school to care for their family members, parents take out multiple loans and mortgages to cover food and medical expenses, family members are forced to become around the clock care givers and so much more. I could never expect someone to drop their lives to support something I could change. Heck, I don't like it when people have to help me when I have surgeries and have a legit need for the help.
Can you bring me more food while I eat this food and I'll need more food while you do all that.
