I feel the same way…defeating the Devil and planting seeds.Get their New World Translation and their Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures the (KIT). I accepted a Bible study from a JW women ,but over the phone once every other week to witness to her. I was invited to their Memorial - they celebrate the death of Jesus and tell the people not to partake of the bread and wine -communion. I partook!😆😆I dropped a big seed!
I think one of the most telling aspects of the discussion surrounding Colossians 1.15-17 is in their 1984 edition of the New World Translation, the word "other", is in parenthesis or brackets. This indicates to the reader that the word other had been inserted by the translator and is not included in the original text. Then step forward to the current edition of the NWT published in 2013, the parenthesis or brackets are *missing*, surrounding "other" things. This leaves the reader to conclude that the word 'other' is in the original text. See, the thing about Satan is he will include some of the truth. Just not all of it. The watchtowers father is a manslayer and as their son, they can be no different. You know, I've always been curious about what is an incredibly bad argument here, ... Do you really think that when you translate between two different languages such as Greek into English. That to two are supposed to line up with a rigid 1-to-1 word correspondence everywhere? So that for every one Greek word means only one English word in translation all the time? Huh??? ... As that's not how translation works at all, and is a frankly ridiculous expectation. ... For instance, right off the bat, in English when you use the expression "all things" at Col. 1:16-20, can you show where the actual term "things" is in the Greek text there? As I see the word for "all" or "every" ( Greek "panta"), but where is the term for "things?" Or even in English phrase "were created" at Col. 1:16, where is the term for "were" in the Greek text there? The Greek term for "created" is there of course, but no actual term for the English "were." I mean, you don't realize that in any English translation of the Bible no matter how literal. There will always be many English words that are not specifically in the original language texts?

Some JW have knocked on my door and I thank God for this podcasts. I asked'em questions. I took'em thru their corruped translations to proof that Jesus and the Holy Spirit = Jehovah. May the Triune God have mercy on'em . They said they are gonna be back today for answering more questions and more convo. I doubt they will come back but I'm getting prepared for it.

I've been a witness off and on most of my life, however for the past month my eyes have been opened to a wealth of information that the JW elders, leaders DO NOT teach nor do not want you to learn the things outside of the organization. My JW family often goes back to God being one. So my response is this, if a husband and wife become one why can't the Spirit, the Son and Father be one? If in marriage God sees man and woman as one then why wouldn't the union of the Spirit, Son and Father be capable of making them one?
Well my guess would be because nowhere does scripture say that "the Father, Son, and holy spirit are one 'spirit.' " The same way that man and woman become like one "flesh" in marriage. Granted both the Father and Christ are spirit beings in heaven that are united as one in harmony and accord with each other. And the holy spirit as a divine power, force, influence that comes from the Father does operate according to his will. But this does not make them all literally one spirit being. ....
Very interesting point! The “one flesh” would actually be a good illustration to use to refute the trinity and explain accurately what Jesus meant when he said “That the Father and I are one”.

Isaiah 44:6 is a good way to show the multiple "persons" of Jehovah existing together, whilst he is the One True God: "This is what Jehovah says, the King of Israel, AND HIS REPURCHASER, Jehovah of Armies: 'I am the first and I am the last. There is no God but me'. - New world translation (capital letters are mine). Also, Daniel 7:9 shows that in his vision, "thrones" (plural) are set in place for the Ancient of Days.
Most modern Bibles delete 1st John 5:7. Only those that hold onto the King James documents keep this This was the verse that most plainly explains the Triune nature of GOD and is the verse that led to Russell creating the cult.
I remember my first encounter with the jw. I grew up going to church my whole life. I seen all the hypocrisy and understood why they couldn’t love God because they didn’t know God. In the church they teach once saved always saved so there for live your life however you want because you’ll still go to heaven. Where do you find truth in using scriptures to justify your wrong way of life?
The family structure is a testament to the trinity. Your dad, mom, and you are one family and a trinity. God is a trinity and in his image we are also a trinity with our parents. Every living creature testifies about God's truth. We are literally our parents in flesh, Jesus is literally God in flesh. The family structure is designed to parallel the trinity of what God is, Life is a trinity.
They don’t listen to the KIT-Kingdom Interlinear Translation 🤨.They hold to the New World Translation and actually down play or run circles around the (KIT) and won’t acknowledge the FACT that the (KIT) says the same as the KJV…Jesus is (in) the Father-not (in union with)the Father:Jesus is (Lord) in the KIT and in the KJV,but the NWT says Jehovah where it should say (Lord)🤨🤔. Actually, the NWT translates the Greek "ta panta" at Col. 1:16, 17 as "all other things" because of the context of verse 15. Where Christ as the "image of God" (and thus not God himself) is the first one born into the creation (cf. Rev. 3:14). And JWs do not believe that Jesus then created "all other things." But that the FATHER then created all other things following Christ's initial one by using him as a "master worker" alongside him (Prov. 8:30). "Because by means of him all other things were created (by God) .... .. .all other things were created through him and for him (by God). -- Col. 1:16 (NWT) "By God" at each and there is for God the Father of course, the implied direct object of the passive Greek verbs for "created." Christ is the secondary or intermediate agent in the creation (cf. 1 Cor. 8:6).

Yes ... In fact the English expression we use "all things" is a very relative phrase in scripture that occurs several dozen times throughout the NT alone. And refers to a variety of different categories of things which always have certain exceptions this way. Oh, and BTW, since those in the video praising Walter Martin and his claim that "you can't have it both ways" Ok, well I'm still looking for the specific word for the English "things" in the Greek text then .... I see "all" or "every" in Greek, but not any word for "things." Someone want to point it out for me? Remember, we're not suppose to insert words now. As your can't have it both ways ....
I’m not sure the psalm 89 argument works. Couldn’t they just move the goal post and say “Sure, he’s the supreme being over all creation, yet he’s still created.” Or perhaps I’ve just totally missed the argument lol.
True, but it does prove that it can’t be pressed literally. David was actually the “last-born” in real life. So the word has to be taken in some other metaphorical sense than meaning “first-created”

The JW reply to all of your arguments is that of 'agency'. Jesus may be called God, not because he literally is God, but because He represents God on earth. Just saying, be ready for their response. Im with you in witness to JWs, there is an answer to their reply- be prepared.
Problem with the JW 1John 1:1 translation is WT interprets it as Jesus is a god because he was first born of all creation. Their explanation messes it up more. I think they realized their weakness.
I suppose you never really know how The Holy Ghost is working and working through Christian’s. God can use different people at different times to plant seeds that will ultimately lead the JW (or any cult member) to the real Jesus.

They change the scriptures to fit their doctrine. They teach Jehovah created all things including Jesus. That scripture contradicts this teaching since it’s saying Jesus created all things and through him all things were created.
Another scripture JWs change to fit their false doctrines of separating Jesus and God is Roman’s 10:1-15 speaking about salvation comes through faith in Jesus and by declaring Jesus is lord. specifically the change is made in verse 13, where they impose their false belief that the Greek word for lord (Κυρίου [Kyriou]) there should instead read YAHWEH, which is their attempt to take the context of that section being about Jesus and change it to Jehovah. Just another one to be aware of for anyone.🙏🏼
They're being deceptive there because it says Lord and not Jehovah in the original NT which is inspired by the Holy Spirit. But technically it's not wrong here. It's a quote of Joel 2:32 where it's LORD. The point is Jesus _is_ that LORD from the OT. It's still *obvious* it's talking about Jesus _specifically_ even when they use the word Jehovah. That's because the person we are calling on == person we are putting faith in == person we are preaching, confirmed in Romans 10:14. Person we are putting faith in == Jesus, Romans 10:11 by cross referencing 1 Peter 2:4-6 that is the same quote about Christ being the stone we are putting faith in. Person we are preaching == Jesus, Romans 10:17. Person we are calling on therefore is Jesus since Romans 10:14 already tells us it's the same person for putting faith in, preaching about, and calling on.

Just because paul is saying something that is also exactly something Joel said about YAHWEH, but paul is saying it clearly about Jesus not YAHWEH or “God(the)father” which paul clearly differentiates when he’s speaking about “God(the father)” from Jesus. We can’t just say oh, well since paul is saying the same exact phrase Joel says in the Tanakh clearly when paul says Lord even though it’s a sentence after saying when you declare Jesus is Lord now all of a sudden this second Lord must mean “Jehovah or YAHWEH or the father” which ever one you want to use, instead of it being about jesus still like the JWs do. Did you know that in John 1:1-3, there are different Greek words for both Gods mentioned? The Word, Jesus, (Λόγος or Logos), was with God (Θεόν, or Theon). The Word was God (Θεὸς, or Theos). He, Jesus, was in the beginning with God (Θεόν, Theon). Even though these are different tenses of the same word, they are nevertheless differentiated. There is one true God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit who exist in hypostatic union sharing one will, co-equal, co-eternal, one essence and one divine nature, the three persons are distinguished the Father begets but is not begotten, the Son is eternally begotten and the Spirit eternally proceeds from the Father and the Son. I hope this clears things up for the unitarians, I will explain further if necessary.
I thought God presented himself to Moses as a burning bush. So, quadinian? Does God say specifically in the Bible that he will present himself to humanity as "three persons'?. Is the Bible who God is? Can you derive from the Bible who God is? Is "material universe" the same as "flesh" to God? After all, it's all the same "make-up", correct? Was the idea of the Bible with God before he gave it to humanity? Is the Bible "the word" of God. In the beginning was the word (Bible) and the word was with God, and the word became material (flesh), and the word (Bible) was God. Read the Bible and you know who God is. Are you sure The Holy Spirit isn't "verifiable by humans" an undeniably good being so people know they aren't feeling or experiencing an evil one? After all, Satan can appear as a angel of Light. You would think God would have his own none deceptive Holy Angel or Spirit. The Trinity may be true. But it sure seems like God could have been less convoluted and more straight forward. Calling himself son, talking to John the Baptist and saying he's well pleased with "one of my three persons" seems deceptive. Seems like a useless gesture. Why was God well pleased with himself becoming Christ? Jesus sure started doing things differently after Baptism. Why have a virgin birth? Why not simply create a body, say I am God. Say I am here to show man that because we are all fallen we can't even recognized "God" even if he demonstrates he is God. All through the Bible God interacted with a person as if he was showing that there has to be faith in him by a person for God to do things to benefit all people. It was like God showing that it's possible to achieve things as a person if that person showed faith in God. Then, all of a sudden God had to change character and do something all himself. Trinity may be true but God sure never inspired a man to easily say "three persons will all be me" in any Binlical veree. Btw, Jesus killing the fig tree is literal. It's merely a way of showing everything in nature isn't as it should be because everything is affected in a fallen world. Acts 28:25 says that the holy spirit spoke through Isaiah. One would have thought that theee two guys would have at least asked themselves exactly HOW did the spirit speak through Isaiah? Did it possess Isaiah's body, take control of his voice and then Isaiah started speaking? Was it a case like the holy spirit speaking through Isaiah as how Satan spoke through the serpent in the garden of Eden? More bluntly, was the holy spirit LITERALLY speaking through Isaiah? Or was Jehovah just giving Isaiah a revelation by means of his holy spirit? This analysis is so superficial in that they are only analysing the words of the text with no thought whatsoever to how it is being effected. So in context, in flesh Jesus says this but we have to tie Philippians 2:6 in with this “although he was God he did not regard equality a thing to grasped but “emptied Himself” being made in the likeness of man” remember this passage when you come across those other passages.

My JW family often goes back to God being one. So my response is this, if a husband and wife become one why can't the Spirit, the Son and Father be one? If in marriage God sees man and woman as one then why wouldn't the union of the Spirit, Son and Father be capable of making them one?
Well my guess would be because nowhere does scripture say that "the Father, Son, and holy spirit are one 'spirit.' " The same way that man and woman become like one "flesh" in marriage.
Granted both the Father and Christ are spirit beings in heaven that are united as one in harmony and accord with each other. And the holy spirit as a divine power, force, influence that comes from the Father does operate according to his will.
But this does not make them all literally one spirit being. ....
Very interesting point! The “one flesh” would actually be a good illustration to use to refute the trinity and explain accurately what Jesus meant when he said “That the Father and I are one”.

In the church they teach once saved always saved so there for live your life however you want because you’ll still go to heaven. The family structure is a testament to the trinity. Your dad, mom, and you are one family and a trinity. God is a trinity and in his image we are also a trinity with our parents. Every living creature testifies about God's truth. We are literally our parents in flesh, Jesus is literally God in flesh. The family structure is designed to parallel the trinity of what God is, Life is a trinity.

They put “all other things” because they say Jesus was created. So he created “all other things” (not himself, they say the father created him).
Actually, the NWT translates the Greek "ta panta" at Col. 1:16, 17 as "all other things" because of the context of verse 15. Where Christ as the "image of God" (and thus not God himself) is the first one born into the creation (cf. Rev. 3:14).
And JWs do not believe that Jesus then created "all other things." But that the FATHER then created all other things following Christ's initial one by using him as a "master worker" alongside him (Prov. 8:30).

"By God" at each and there is for God the Father of course, the implied direct object of the passive Greek verbs for "created." Christ is the secondary or intermediate agent in the creation (cf. 1 Cor. 8:6).

In fact the English expression we use "all things" is a very relative phrase in scripture that occurs several dozen times throughout the NT alone. And refers to a variety of different categories of things which always have certain exceptions this way.

Problem with the JW 1John 1:1 translation is WT interprets it as Jesus is a god because he was first born of all creation. Their explanation messes it up more. I think they realized their weakness.

They change the scriptures to fit their doctrine. They teach Jehovah created all things including Jesus. That scripture contradicts this teaching since it’s saying Jesus created all things and through him all things were created.
Another scripture JWs change to fit their false doctrines of separating Jesus and God is Roman’s 10:1-15 speaking about salvation comes through faith in Jesus and by declaring Jesus is lord. specifically the change is made in verse 13, where they impose their false belief that the Greek word for lord (Κυρίου [Kyriou]) there should instead read YAHWEH, which is their attempt to take the context of that section being about Jesus and change it to Jehovah. Just another one to be aware of for anyone.🙏🏼
They're being deceptive there because it says Lord and not Jehovah in the original NT which is inspired by the Holy Spirit. But technically it's not wrong here. It's a quote of Joel 2:32 where it's LORD. The point is Jesus _is_ that LORD from the OT.
It's still *obvious* it's talking about Jesus _specifically_ even when they use the word Jehovah. That's because the person we are calling on == person we are putting faith in == person we are preaching, confirmed in Romans 10:14.
Person we are putting faith in == Jesus, Romans 10:11 by cross referencing 1 Peter 2:4-6 that is the same quote about Christ being the stone we are putting faith in. Person we are preaching == Jesus, Romans 10:17. Person we are calling on therefore is Jesus since Romans 10:14 already tells us it's the same person for putting faith in, preaching about, and calling on.

Just because paul is saying something that is also exactly something Joel said about YAHWEH, but paul is saying it clearly about Jesus not YAHWEH or “God(the)father” which paul clearly differentiates when he’s speaking about “God(the father)” from Jesus. Did you know that in John 1:1-3, there are different Greek words for both Gods mentioned?
The Word, Jesus, (Λόγος or Logos), was with God (Θεόν, or Theon).
The Word was God (Θεὸς, or Theos).
He, Jesus, was in the beginning with God (Θεόν, Theon).
Even though these are different tenses of the same word, they are nevertheless differentiated.
Satan was also called θεὸς, or Theos at 2 Corinthians 4:4.

The Trinity may be true. But it sure seems like God could have been less convoluted and more straight forward. Calling himself son, talking to John the Baptist and saying he's well pleased with "one of my three persons" seems deceptive. Seems like a useless gesture. Why was God well pleased with himself becoming Christ? Jesus sure started doing things differently after Baptism. Why have a virgin birth? Why not simply create a body, say I am God. Say I am here to show man that because we are all fallen we can't even recognized "God" even if he demonstrates he is God. All through the Bible God interacted with a person as if he was showing that there has to be faith in him by a person for God to do things to benefit all people. It was like God showing that it's possible to achieve things as a person if that person showed faith in God. Then, all of a sudden God had to change character and do something all himself.
Trinity may be true but God sure never inspired a man to easily say "three persons will all be me" in any Binlical veree.
Btw, Jesus killing the fig tree is literal. It's merely a way of showing everything in nature isn't as it should be because everything is affected in a fallen world. @@icanfartloud There are many things humans believe, though they don't understand. The Godhead is in the Old Testament (e.g. Genesis 1) as in the New. To my understanding, the first prophecy of the Saviour is in Genesis 3, and a prophecy is a foretelling, not an interpretation.
