My mom would invite them in for coffee and she’d listen to them… and when they were finished, she’d say… Ok, I’ve listened to you, now it’s my turn. I remember her talking to them for hours. She changed many hearts. I’m so proud of her, and who she was. I was such a lucky girl to have a mother who loved the Lord, and loved me enough to teach me about him.

@Cam montreuil engines As JW’s we read a bible that was changed in the early 1920s based on Johannes Greber’s bible translation that he said he got from a spirit medium. This medium told him the trinity was false. Unfortunately JWs are in sincere deception and believe this demon inspired teaching. But God is faithful and he reveals the truth to all who ask him sincerely.

@@ewankerr3011 Because I have a relationship with him now. He dwells in me and answers my prayers and puts his words on my heart and in my mind. When I was a JW I would pray and pray and hear and feel nothing. Now he is always there and the promises of the Bible come true in my personal life now. He speaks to me and guides me. Not to mention the first time I prayed to Jesus he revealed his identity to me through the scriptures. I could go on.
I met Ray this morning and interviewed him, he also signed my book and gave my mother and I a gift card to lunch, my mother and I are having a hard time with money and Ray came and saved the day. Thank you, Ray.

I was a missionary in Costa Rica for 9 years. The J.W.'s are everywhere down there. I learned a lot from a man named Walter Martin. He wrote Kingdom of the Cults. I also had his cassette series on the Jehovah's Witnesses. When one would come to my door, I saw it as part of my missionary calling. Many times we would talk for hours. I always allowed them to share what they had to say-I already knew what they were going to say anyway. They didn't know that though. Sometime it turned out good, sometimes not. I don't recommend using their material if you are not familiar with their beliefs. I am, so I use their own material to show them who Jesus really is. One thing I learned from Walter Martin, and it is very important, DO NOT start you conversation with a Jehovah's Witness telling them that YOU ARE GOING TO PROVE TO THEM THAT JESUS IS GOD. If you do that, you will lose them. They WILL NOT listen to anything you say from that point on. Use wisdom. Trust the Holy Spirit to give you the words you need to say. I have their Greek/English Kingdom Interlinear New Testament and use it to show the error of their "translation" of the Bible. One example is John 1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. In their bible it says "In the beginning was the word, and the word with God, and the word was A god. Not God, but A god. Now in their Greek/English Kingdom Interlinear New Testament they have their translation the their bible in a margin over to the side. They actually translate it correctly in the Greek. It says: In the beginning was the word, and the word was face to face with God, and God was the word. I ask them to compare the Greek translation to the "translation" in the margin, they can't. Also, in Genesis 18 and 19 we find the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. We know about the 3 men that came to Abraham, one of them being Jesus. We know the other 2 were angels because of chapter 19. Abraham addressed the man who stayed behind as LORD-JEHOVAH about 14 times in chapter 18. Now if you look at Genesis 19: 24, you will see something very interesting. Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Jehovah out of heaven; ASV. If you noticed, Jehovah rained fire FROM Jehovah out of Heaven. I asked a JW that came to my house, after reading that verse; Are there 2 Jehovahs? His answer was very interesting. He said that there is an angel named Jehovah. I told him that not even the Watch Tower teaches that. He said that he would find it and come back to show me. He never came back. God loves Jehovah's Witnesses, and they need Him just as much as we do.

That is awesome! and always love how Yahuah/God/Jehovah/Yehova shows up as messenger/angel and one of my favorite pieces in Hebrew literally says in Judges 6:14 "And יהוה turned to him and said, “Go in this strength of yours, and you shall save Yisra’ĕl from the hand of the Miḏyanites. Have I not sent you?” (Hebrew word is the creators name in it's original text) always gives me the goosebumps lol and if know that no one has seen the the father except for the son (John 6:46) we know it's the father in flesh(angel) aka Jesus/yeshua/yahusha (just putting variations of hebrew name of Jesus in here) either way I pray we all continue to grow each day in the word and learn to discern and use the gift of the holy spirit in speaking with others.
I remember my mother inviting a Jehovah's witness inside for a discussion. Mum listened patiently and then also witnessed to the lady about her own Christian faith. My mum has probably since forgotten about that encounter but it left a pleasant memory in my young mind, of how to peacefully contend for my faith without it turning into a boiling argument.

i spoke to a Jehovah's Witness about two years ago and she was agreeing with so much stuff and this was whenever i was a newborn Christian, hopefully if i run into one again, i will have the words to say-through God's grace and wisdom alone of course!

I have found that JWs are champions at using REAL bible versions when it suits their Russelite theology, but the second these real Bible versions disagree with their theology, they claim it wasn't translated properly. Same kind of thinking in Mormonism as well.

When I talk to Mormons I like to ask them what Jesus last words were “ It is finished” then explain to them that if Jesus finished his work why then did the Mormons feel like that his finished work needed restoration,I hope that it gets them to see how ridiculous their false doctrine is .

It’s called “Linguistic Theft” and it occurs in pretty much every other worldview these days that isn’t a biblical worldview. Including “social justice.” Same vocabulary, different definition. When the Gospel was being preached at the end, I could see the tears forming in her eyes and thinking she has been lied to and deceived in the past... my heart goes out to her, I pray she gave her life to Christ that day!

My mom was a JW that doesn't mean her beliefs as a JW has changed at all she had to leave the organization cuz my father was against it Im 16 now and I started to read the Bible in 2019 and pray hard because I was depressed God healed me and I was okay I discovered this channel yesterday and subscribed and watched this video today I turned my Bible and noticed for the first time that Ive been reading the new world translation of the Holy scriptures that's probably from the JW too

A JW once approached me at a bus stop. Her mom stayed in the car at a short distance. The girl started to tell me all the things that JWs say, and when she was done talking, I asked her one question: "Do you guys believe that Jesus is an angel?" She knew I was onto something, that I "knew" something. She didn't answer my question. She told me that they "believe that Jesus is in heaven with God and that Jesus is a spirit". Then my bus came and I had to leave right away, but I gave her my phone number so she could call me and continue our conversation later. She NEVER called. I could've been a lost soul...I could've died in my sins the next day without knowing Christ. She never cared enough to follow up with me. That was very sad to witness.
Yes Firefly this is sad indeed. There is no other way in which we can have eternal life except through the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. JW miss the "Whole Gospel" by applying a "works salvation" spin to their narrative.

I was raised in this but I’m PIMO (physically in mentally out) and I’m so glad God showed me the truth about my own religion and I met the true Jesus and God like two years ago when I prayed to get closer to God even more. It’s his grace only that o was born again

I'm about to write book on watchtower society in my regional language for india so pls keep me in your prayers.
Understand that many peoples and cultures throughout the world, for the first time learned about Christ through the Jehovah Witnesses and received Bibles free to learn the word. This was no different than the Catholics. Neither were perfectly reflecting God's teaching in every instance. Make sure that you really know everything God was doing for his people before you write this book or make a judgement on God's will, lest you will be personally judged by The Great I AM.

JWs would visit me on Sundays. I always welcomed them in and gave them some questions. They would say they would come back next week with the answer, but they never did. Eventually they stopped coming all together.
Isn’t crazy how we spend our whole lives caring so much what other people think but we can literally walk the opposite way through a crowd talking in a direction to seemingly nobody and nobody even bats an eye. The last time Jehovah’s Witnesses came to my door I asked them about their beliefs about the Trinity. When I quoted John 1:1 they turned and left without saying a word.

What is John 1 : 1 supposed to prove ? There is no Trinity in this verse. It gets worse. The word (Jesus ?) is with God. So clearly he cannot be God. In any case, God had no beginning. So what beginning are they talking about.?
Do you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ ? Do you listen to what HE says? Jesus has a God. (John 20 :17.; Rev 3 :12)
Is he a liar? Today's Christianity is far removed from the biblical writingd.

I used to work in a department where I was the only Christian along with six of the Jehovah's Witnesses. You can imagine we've had lots of conversations. Problem with the discussion of the Trinity is that they will interpret all of the other scriptures of Christ Deity in the light of their interpretation of John 1:1 (a God). Its a tough nut to crack unless you can make them see they are worshipping a "little God" or two Gods according to the NWT.
I ran into one of my buddies that had left the Jehovah's Witnesses and he said me speaking about John 1:1 is what made him really take a long hard look at the Watchtower.

Let’s see what happens.
How does John 1:1 proves that Jesus is Almighty God? God simply means "mighty one". Angels are called gods, humans are called gods etc etc. Psalms 8:5, Hebrew 2:7, Psalms 82, John 10 and so on. So no matter how we translate John 1:1.
In the beginning was the word, the word was with the mighty one, the word was mighty one.
What we have here is simple. Two mighty one. The first is THE mighty one, the second is simply just (without "The") mighty one.
So how does John 1:1 proves that Jesus is the Almighty God, without any preassumptions?

I had a cousin who was a committed Jehovah Witness! Having seen & heard the truth of their belief, it is truly an eye opener! Great historic info & certainly food for thought! I myself, am happy to say I believe in the Bible, try to live accordingly and am saved by grace! Heaven is real so is hell! I pray we will all know the truth of the word of God someday soon! The listening girl seemed to transform during the interview. She seemed to go from anxious to peaceful. I cried watching her eyes as she heard the gospel. I hope and pray she is saved, and I do the same for the Jehovah's Witness girl.

The JW girl is prideful, and is only going through the motions to feel confortable. So when she hears the truth she is offended because she is already doing ALOT to be saved in her mind. Also after she said "knowledgeable" she made a very agressive "what ever" kind of face. Its sad to see.

We see so many JW's going door to door in our area, and now more recently sending lots of people post cards (I know as I'm a mailman). It always breaks my heart that they don't have the Holy Spirit and are spreading a false message, but they are out there doing it while it's super rare to see Christians do anything. One day I was following behind a couple JW ladies as I was delivering mail, and the younger lady was exclaiming with joy how easy it was to leave literature door to door. And she's right, it is easy.....but again, how much easier and more pertinent it is for us as born again believers to get our message out?
How do you know they have not holy spirit? No one church has, only individuals.

Over 40 years ago, a group came to our house way back in the woods. Husband was freshly born again and scriptures had lit up his lofe. We’re still hoping the young man they brought (probably as training) got out and into a good church. He had a lot to think about and after about 30 minutes, they wanted to get him out of here...
i was raised a JW and followed their readings when i saw this video i was shocked and i didn't know what to do my whole life was lie and they had changed their views. This group was a lie time by time it was slowly changed and inaccurate information was spread to different locations my view has changed against the group thank you for showing this video.
But what if jw is the right truth and then we leave it it and then we regret it cause everything it says in the bible is happening around us and is true in the end what if.what would we do

Years ago, I too received a knock on my front door. Yup. Two jehovah witnesses. Both female. I was a Christian at this point, but not yet born again, and I did have some biblical knowledge. I invited them in, and put on a pot of coffee. It was an absolutely fascinating encounter. Based upon my own questions, and their inability to acknowledge let alone answer the fundamental question of the Trinity, they ended up leaving. I certainly hope I planted some seeds! Revelations is the perfect book in the bible to engage them with, as it's one of their favorites. Leading them through several of these scriptures regarding God, we were all 3 in agreement. Until the final offered scripture that nails it, immediately followed up with "When did God die?" BAM. Talk about revelations! Godspeed❤️

Okay, Let me relate this. I am formerly a presenter meaning that I was an educator that presented educational shows. I was normally in a very dangerous area. I was in a Supermarket parking lot reading my Bible. I always was armed when not at school. As I'm reading my Bible, I got the feeling that danger was near. I placed my Bible away partially and then I accessed my weapon ready for the carjacking. At the last moment, I realized what was going on was worse than a carjacking. One of the occupants of the van that pulled up was carrying a Watchtower Magazine. I realized this was worse than a carjacking, it was a spiritual carjacking. I replaced my weapon and got my Bible back out to face the impending session. At the time I was a nominal Presbyterian. I knew the Bible well, and the man started quoting scriptures. The Holy Ghost inside me told me to read to the man the verses ahead and behind the scripture he was quoting. It flustered him so bad that he called his "Supervisor" over and again the Holy GHost stated to me to read a verse ahead and behind the scripture being quoted. The supervisor was dumbfounded. I explained in my limited way how salvation worked and asked if Jesus were to come tomorrow would you have a relationship with Him to take you to heaven. I had no experience in soul winning at that time and basically I planted spiritual seed and I prayed for them to find the truth. It is efforts like Living Waters that gives people a basis to reach the lost in a real way. I am so glad for Living Waters.

10/24/2021: Two JW women came to my home on a Halloween afternoon. I had just prayed that morning for GOD to open a door to witness to others. Well, to make a long story short, I listened to them and they listened to me, asked some questions and said that I seemed firm in my belief and they left. I pray for them to come to the knowledge of THE TRUTH before it is too late.
I am surprised that they even came bcz I have a huge cross on my front door. Hmmmm, interesting, yeah?
Im asian, born into hindu family.. all generations hindu.. after 30 years, no pastor, no preacher, no one came to me, but i was seeking for the One True God, and seeking a way out.. seeking meaning and truth.. and then i was gonna do black magic because i needed some way to survive in this world.. and when i realized they use Psalms in black magic, it made me wonder how is this possible.. also the words are so beautiful.. and also they claim Solomon is a great magician, absolute rubbish perpetrated by muslims.. ok anyway im still a pothead who prays every day, but i just wanna say if u seek the Father, he will lead you to the Son, and then you will find the Father.. this is proven when our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth says :

Aside from their beliefs, the JW's as a whole are very nice, kind, clean people. I wouldn't mind having them as neighbors and they would quickly come to realize that their evangelization efforts would have no effect on me. I studied with them many years ago, so I know how they work.....

I did get into a debate once I told them I would listen to them for 10 minutes if they would do the same. They agreed they brought up these verses faith without works is dead. Then I had my ten minutes and she would have to look it up in her bible. I told her I had it right here with me and showed her the verse that it is by Grace that we are saved and that is not for us to boast the works comes later by gratitude of the gift of Grace. She asked what verses that was so she could look up about it. I never saw her in my neighborhood again.

I received a letter in the mail yesterday from a lady in the next town. She was inviting me to a zoom memorial for Jesus' death held by her congregation. I assume she is looking up everyone in town and sending them a copy. I'm working on a return letter to her ,where I will share the truth of the gospel with her. My brother is a JW and he has made unwise decisions all of his 74 years...My final question I sent yesterday was ...Why did the Jewish Religious body want to have Jesus killed?....There are Three reasons.....They feared losing power, they feared the Romans and third because Jesus said he was God.
I conversed for the first time with two elderly gentlemen who are JW's earlier this morning. I stressed the importance of believing in the true Jesus (who is God in the flesh) and the biblical Gospel (that it is grace through faith, NOT through works). They are so blinded in their hearts. I'll be praying for these two gentlemen that they will come to saving faith through the REAL Jesus. 🙏🙏
I remember years ago a jehovah witnesses always knocking on our door almost every week since as a Christian I also share my faith to others so I know the feeling just to be nice I get the tracks that she's giving me and put it under my bed and when I sleep I saw a demon under my bed.. I used to work for a company that serviced ATM Machines in the Jehovah Witnesses headquarters in upstate New York. They were the strangest “company” we ever dealt with. Their headquarters were fortified like military compounds & to gain entry was like setting up an appointment with the Pentagon. Very strange. And they have several huge compounds in Upstate New York. Big $$$$. One word of warning: if they knock on your door and you engage in conversation with them, they’ll knock on your door every week until they “suck you in.”
I asked a visiting JW what was I ,as a Christian, believing wrongly. They were stumped. I asked to pray with them and they refused. So sad. I don’t think they even understand their own teachings.

I can usually do such a more thorough "witness" and quote without aid, that they usually just end up listening to me. My favorite 'quote' is reciting Psalm 49 entirely & verbatim. :-)
My step children are witnesses, one is an elder. We have been to a memorial service (funeral) and weddings at a kingdom hall. Almost every other statement made by the presiding elder was "loyalty to the organization." Discussing scripture is a nonstarter as their bible has been manipulated to defend their beliefs. We are loving and kind to them but don't know what else to do.

JW's are sending 1000's of people straight to hell lost forever. My brother in law was JW growing up. The teaching of JW's is that when u die u are dead unless u are of the few chosen. It is hard to follow their ways and when u fall out of favour with the elders because of this u are dead when u die teaching, many decide to give over to the world because u can enjoy your life now and just be dead after that. Those people never recover from this teaching.

I once told a JW when I was told that God created Jesus, I said that God is God of love, ultimate love. He wouldnt send someone else to die for us, He'd do it Himself. Then quoted John John chapter one. All I can hope is thata seed was planted.
