Thanks! This is an earlier setup now. Sounds similar, I've added another silencer since and downswept pipes as I feared it wouldn't make it on track. Passed noise regs Tuesday at 90db at 4.5k rpm at Brands Hatch so all good! 👍
Guage is a Turbosmart eBoost2 controller. Pod is from Airifix that it sits in, installed by Millsys Autos in Nuneaton who have done a bunch of work on the car. Couldn't say how hard or easy it was but I'd imagine not too difficult to fit.
This is a big turbo setup. Garrett GTX 2860r, custom manifold, turbo back 3" custom exhaust, direct port meth injection. Built engine, and a custom map from 1320 Mini in the UK
The manifold is from GMC Italy and can be ordered and shipped via their website. The exhaust was custom made by Deutschtech so probably not available as it was made on the car.
@@dannyrosales4774 Great! You can get it set up as either external waste gate or like mine, internal. Lots of nice bits from those guys and their welds are really good.
Sounds great! Could you do a video with the build breakdown? Would love to know exactly what you have done, looking to do this to my mini as well and looking for similar power
Hi, how complicated is it to get a biss ass turbo in a mini, i want to do it, but scared it wont fit the oem fitment, is there some tips or things, kits or parts you can recommend, thank you !!
It's definitely possible, I assume you're talking R53 or R56? You can buy an adaptor plate to fit a big turbo to the stock manifold. I run the GMC Italy manifold, downpipe is from Deutschtech and is custom. But you'll need other bits like custom oil lines etc. Lots of information out there. You can check out Mini Torque for big turbo builds.
@@clementspeedshop im talking r56, and where can i get my hands on one of these adaptor plates ? because the manifold kits from gmc italy are arrond 1800 eur and i believe the adaptor is a cheaper option..
Car sounds incredible

Sweet build, now following. I have a 207 RC running same engine stage 2 on stock turbo. Doesn't quite sound like this though 😅
Time to upgrade that turbo and get a Garrett GTX! 🔥
This sounds like a little fun rocket😅
Nice spool! How much boost on these pulls?
You can just catch 23. Something on the eBoost2 gauge. Clips around 24.3 max
that looks rapid Geoff Jesus 😂
It's pretty quick! 😎
@@clementspeedshop gotta be punching over 300 hp there
@leecostelloracing 320whp / 350bhp - got cams coming next. 😂 EDIT: 371whp and 338wtq now with the cams.
@@clementspeedshop now that sounds fun 😂 your definitely not slowing down are you 😂
What's you're compression ratio? I'm using the same turbo and would like to know want you went with.
10:1 Supertech rods, pistons and valve train.
Have you sleeved the block or is it a stock block just rods and pistons?
@@LapDeleted I went the CSS route.
Where did you get boost gauge and mounting kit for it,How easy are they to fit looks and sounds amazing sir

Hi are you running stage 3? I bought k04 hybrid 6x6 (I have stage 2) what tune do you have ?

Hey! Yep stock HPFP, but upgraded intank pump. Think it's a deatschwerks 240lph pump. Stock injectors.
what blow of valve u running? nice spools mate :)
Turbosmart BOV. And Turbomart IWG wastegate.
Exhaust setup?
GMC Italy manifold, Deutchtech custom 3" turbo back system.
gtx2860r?
Yep that's the one.
I am in the U.S. is there a place i can order the manifold and exhaust?

Go with r300 oem fitment and supports 350whp no problem but I'd keep it at about 260whp and 260tq stock internals
Is this all still on the stock engine? And if so how much boost do you think it could take.
Hi, its not been a stock engine for nearly 4 years. Its a built engine top to bottom, but still open deck.
check engine light is on
Aux water pump got deleted. Sometimes its on, other times its not. Doesnt effect the cars driving.
@@clementspeedshopis that not to cool the turbo when the engine is shut off??
Correct me if I'm wrong...
@@owenrackham5963 Yes, but if you give it a bit of time after a drive to lower temps it's fine. Been like this the last 18 months. No issues.
