Adjusting Disc Brakes on Electric Scooters

Hi Everyone, quick video on how to adjust mechanical disc brakes on electric scooters. User manuals on electric scooters usually do not have any instructions for adjusting the brakes. Make sure you do a test ride after adjusting the brakes.

I just got those off road tires. About how many miles would you say you can put on them before needing new ones.

2,000 miles or 3,000kms for tube tires, close to 5,000miles or 8,000kms for solid. Hard braking and acceleration kills the tires. Riding on the road in hot weather surprisingly also wears out the tires quickly

I haven’t ever cross HV scooter. I need to replace the rear brake caliber. Ever cross does not have them available are the fittings for different calipers the same and other words do I have to worry about that the holes will match up or is that standard for most scooters.? I have a similar question about the brake pads. If the form is the same does it really matter who the manufacturer is if it fits is it standard also?

That may be the brakes themselves not aligning properly so it runs on one side. The screeching noise is something caught on the disc or pads. I'll do another video on the weekend to fix this. It's not an easy fix.
