How to get rid of brake disc chatter (E-bike/E-scooter/Surron/Recon/NUTT/LOGAN/Magura) disc brakes

- Hey scooter heads. This video was created for those who deal with brake rotor chatter with your electric scooter. Technically this video applies to all electric mobility vehicles with nutt, Logan, magura, zoom and alike brakes.
My NAMI has been making this brake chatter everytime I ride. Sometimes it happens at low speeds and sometimes at high speeds. This video was made to show you a possible solution(s) to this problem and how to fix/patch it.

Brake rotor repair tool:

Brake fluid: (please double check your vehicle doesn't need any specific brand fluid and search accordingly. This oil is suitable for most brands like Shimano brakes and nutt) you could probably use this with any brake setup and it's fine.

11" scooter PMT tires: (with these you could usually go with two different sizes depending on if you prefer acceleration with less top speed or more top speed with a small sacrifice in acceleration):

P.S. I no longer see a 95/55-6.5" tire which would be for an 11" scooter like a NAMI Burn-E, DT Thunder 2, Wolf King GT for example.

loosen the caliper press the brakes and tighten that should center it if its not too out of whack.

Hey Anthony how is it going?
Yesterday I reset my tires on the rim, changed the valve stem to the straight valve stem and installed magura MDR-C rotors to the NAMI. I haven't ridden the NAMI but I hope when I put air back in my tires the tires will be reseated and smooth without any changes or vibrations. If it's still shaking, I will bite the bullet and maybe get new tires

Change discs it was very good!! I think magura are 165 mm or make wrong...🤔
Before fuel tires with air, spray little silicone spray between tire and rim, or on a piece of paper little oil or vaseline and pass the rim both sides (you understand what i say 😁) and press 60 PSI in start, then go down to 45-50 psi..

@@Jonasegway right now change the winding of one motor (have 10 inch front and 11 rear)😁 make it for hi speed and less torque (something win something loose) ... In the end of next week i will finish it and put it rear motor (if it work 😋😁) and the 11 motor i have now rear but it front..
Also i order the biggest YYK Controller, one for rear only ( it make a month from now to come) it is 150 amber and these i have are 80a each... We will see...
Aaa ... And+ 1s my extra batteries from 4s to 5s that means 16s + 5s = 21s (76v, full charge 88v)..
When i finish the winding of the motor will make a video... It Blow my mind till find the right way wires go.... And also make bigger the phase wires to 10 awg (motor - Controller wire, green, blue, yellow) but that was the easy part or the winding project... Anyway...
There is a chance to buy a blade 10 with controllers blow off..... To have an other toy to play....😁😇🚀
And last but not least... Pass COVID the new one O5.... It destroy me!!!
Loose 4-5 kilos, the first week 38-39 temperature cut my breath and my strength,.. and now after 45-50 days I'm in 85-90% of my health...

As far as the wheel size goes, I think the 10" in the rear will make you quicker for sure. 80a controllers 😲. I have heard of this blade 10 scooter before. I think I will need to check it out.
Please try too lusen break and hold break and after tightening brake rotor if its not crazy brak will bee OK I'm doing same thing on MTB
when you loosen the two bolts on the Brake,
you should compress your Break for 5 - 10 Seconds
and then proceed to tightening, and it should work 🙂
