PREPARE YOUR KIDS WITH THIS

- #motherhood #momlife #mom Eight years ago, I heard about a simple game I could play with my kids, one that would help prepare them for real life scenarios that they were sure to one day encounter. I've found this game to be so valuable in equipping them to make the right decisions when it matters most, that I wanted to pass it along to all of you. It's what I'm chatting about today at my kitchen table!
You're doing a great job, mama.

Really great idea, thank you so much! I'm not particularly creative or naturally good at homeschooling, so this really helps change the game for kiddos learning faster.
So glad I have come across your channel I have been praying for God to help me in similar situations as ones you have given in your videos. Thank you for sharing your ideas and adding in your faith it has given me encouragement!
Gold! Thank you so much for this idea. My kids and I have talked a wee bit about a few of these scenarios, but I definitely think we need reinforcement, reminders, and have a bunch more to include. Thank you!
Love those question. Thank you so much… 🥰 learnt so much watching i think 3 videos of yours now 😂 I have 6 and going 8 daughters.
This is so wonderful!! Great ideas, thank you for sharing!
This is brilliant! This will be part of our routine now
I love this! Can't wait to start it with my kiddos! 💗
What a great idea for a game. As i was listening to your examples I realized that I have never had a conversation with my son about what to do if he ever got seperated from us. So I just asked him what if... he looked real serious and said "i don't know".
It absolutely broke my heart. But I told him what to do if it ever happens. I will definitely start using this game in our house! Thank you!
I'm so glad it was able to spark a conversation about what to do if you were separated! That's so so great. Thanks so much for watching! xo
Yessss what a great idea! I will do this
I love it!
Love this! ❤️
I tell my kids if in case they get lost in a crowded place like a mall, to find a mom with kids.
Love this! Thanks for pouring your wisdom out upon my soul! Love this!! ♥️♥️
Love adding the biblical twist ❤️
We do something very similar to this, often in the car, but I love the idea of doing it at dinner and with our papa included in the conversation. Thank you so much for sharing. I love how it makes a "team" mentality. Like in team Clark or team Brown (my name), we always act like..... There are a couple great you choose books, not Christian but more manners based called What would Danny do. We love them for triggering new conversations!! ❤️
I love the "Team Clark" idea and thanks for the book recommendations! That series sounds great!! :)
This is such a great idea!
Thanks Lauren! :)
Awesome! One caveat. I would tell them if an adult asks them for their help they should turn around and RUN to Mommy or Daddy or a Policeman.
Thank you for sharing all your goodness! It’s so wonderful to see a mom who LOVES what she does and has so many great ideas!
And your shirt is so cute! Somehow you’ve managed to make motherhood look simple and put together. I know it may seem silly but I’m struggling to get out of the sweats when I’m home all day- I’d love ideas for where to shop and how to keep yourself together and not get too lost 💙
Aww! I truly do love motherhood, but there are also hard days and many days where I LOVE to be in my sweats!! :) I actually tried to be intentional this summer to find about 5 outfits that I like and feel like are super comfy for me to rotate and wear during the day at home. Outfits that I wouldn't feel embarrassed to run to the grocery store in or have surprise guests come to the door ;) That's been so helpful to me! And I don't have tons of time or money to shop, so my go-to's are Target, Ross & Kohls...but I'm also blessed with very fashion forward friends who pass me their clothes when they get tired of them...ha! :)
I love this! It reminds me of a board game I grew up with. I think it was called be safe or be sorry. It had cards with sinarios like you mentioned. I'm going to have to put something together. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love that you played something similar to this when you were younger! I'd love to find that game! :)
So appreciate you sharing this! It’s so helpful to have those who are ahead of you in the parenting journey to share what is working for their family ❤️
Thanks Amber! I TOTALLY know what you mean! I have several moms in my life who are ahead of me and I'm so thankful for the time they take to pour into me! xo
This is so brilliant! Thanks for sharing 💖

Definitely going to do this with my kids!!!! Love the bible verse as well! Do you use the ESV
Yep! It's one of the several versions we use :)
This is great! Thanks for this idea. I also love your paint color, do you remember the name?
Hi! It's Behr's Chocolate Froth...but I honestly feel like the way it looks in person is waaaay different than it looks on camera! :)
TFS!
You're welcome!! Thanks for watching :)
The best thing you can do for the kids is to teach them to devote themselves to God ALONE. And stay away from church or worshiping Jesus or other idols like dead saints, messengers etc..
Peace!!
