World's first K SWAPPED Prelude!?

- I drove down to Austin, TX to check out this insane build aka The Blue Lady. Not only is this one of the cleanest Honda Prelude I've seen in person, its the very first K swapped Prelude with plenty of highly sought after goodies that any Prelude enthusiast would give an arm and a leg for.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe some Polish gentlemen have been K swapping their fifth gens for a while now. Chris may be the first K swapped fifth gen here in Texas, but certainly not the first ever 😅

Hey amigo, yessir there have definitely been many kswaps before mine. Not entirely sure if I was the first in Texas either haha. But do know in the US one of the first was a kswapped 5th gen from Fern in Florida. @jfcustommetal

Im from Poland. Yes, I confirm it. There is at least one person in Poland who have been K swap to prelude 5. Rather he don't have an Instagram, it is not so popular in Poland.

id slap a awd kit next if that was my Honda prelude but id rather put an rwd kit but they don't make them so you can go to s1 and they make the Awd kits?
In my HONEST opinion I think Rocky’s Prelude looks cleaner, that’s just my opinion tho it’s nice

Yeah looking at the comments I am stating the obvious. Starting my swap in April. I won’t be the first probably not even the first in VA, but it will be the cleanest.
Bruh there’s been k swapped ludes that I know of since 2019 and there are videos of a k swapped prelude on UA-cam already

Damn I thought you'd know that. LOL. Well there's a guy in Houston with a K20/24 swap. Cool Electric blue paint too. Man it sucks The H22 wasn't as good as a K20/24 b/c the sound of an H22 is mean, and this is coming from a VR6 fan. You got personality I subbed. I kinda want a Honda Prelude as a daily, since i don't want to daily my Rx7 or 240sx. I just want a car to drive around and not worry about it but also look good driving it too. But im afraid i will fall in love and then not want to drive that car anymore and get another car for the daily and have the cycle repeat. Daily for the daily lol . . .

You will fall in love. Honestly its only downfall is it’s FWD but it handles unbelievably good in corners you won’t know the difference unless you’re drifting.

Preludes suffer the same fate as Accord coupes. But honda Civics are cheap ash and a dime a dozen so 🤷 after market caterer to the poor initial buyers

What’s all needed to do this swap
Pretty much the same thing for any k swap. The only issue is there aren’t any specific kswap kits for the 5th gen prelude and so it’ll require a lot of fabrication. But basically, get the hasport kswap mounts for the 4th gen prelude or make your own. From there you just decide what motor and trans you want, get the 02-04 RSX ecu and wire harness, you’ll also need the matching shifter box and cables for whatever transmission you want. Then you basically figure out how to fuel it, cooling lines, wether to retain or delete power steering, etc. I’m working on the swap myself right now and will be posting by a video soon

This is not the world's first k-swapped Honda Prelude i have a few friends that has already done this to their prelude also they even added awd kits Aswell and dogbox a long time ago! talking 4-6 years ago lol but ok nice video tho! and nice prelude btw!

all k swaps are pretty much the same, the main differences would be figuring out the motor mounts and axles to use. I'm actually putting together a list myself, maybe I'll post a vid about it someday :D
