    I loose my running mojo all the time , but cycling is awful in the cold 🥶 so it’s take a lot of motivation to get out on a bike 🚲, I only cycle in the summer I’m a proper fair weather cyclist 🚴‍♀️, so hats off to you .
    When it comes to running I go somewhere else a different town or trail runs sometimes that usually gets me back on track , so it’s important to keep things fresh and new , familiarity can be very boring at times ,you’ll be back and well done with running and swimming

      The older the get, the more I become a fair weather cyclist 🙈 I just hate the winter, it's not my favourite season. I find everything hard work and I always seem tired 👎 Roll on spring 😜

    I think most runners start out as triathletes who've lost their cycling mojo... 🤔😁
    You'll get there mate. My motivation tends to go when I'm either over trained or I've taken a break of more than a few days and all my good habits have started to fade.

    Must have been a good session you were steaming 😜 I enjoy the cross racing to keep me going through winter and they make me train so I'm fit of the next race. I user Trainer Road and the structured plan really helps and plus catching a series. Perhaps save a good series until your on the turbo so you have something to look forward even if its not the session it's self.

      Yeh it was definitely a cold one for me to steam 🤣🤣 I do like the idea of starting to watch a tv series. Il have to give this a go.
      I am enjoying cross racing but my lack of current fitness makes me not so keen. Need to get my head down for a bit to get fitter.

    I’m a bit addicted to Zwift and maintain motivation always - apparently I am not normal 😮 maybe try one of the series of rides like the new Zwift Camp Basline workouts? Or one of the training plans to add structure? I use the pace partners too but they’re not very dynamic are they 🤔. Stick with it Stu. Eye on the goal!

      No you are not normal 🤣🤣 I do enjoy zwift, and last year I was all over it. Let's hope I can get back into it. I'm sure I will, it's just a blip at the minute. 🙈

    Well done for gritting your teeth and just making yourself get on the bike. I've had a couple of days in the last few weeks where I've felt the same and just getting out of the door is the hardest bit. I put a lot of it down to the shorter days, but I always feel better once I've got it done.
    As you know, I'm a runner only really, but I do think that something like a zwift set up one day (when I've got space) would be a good benefit to my overall fitness. Need to work out some space and then do some shopping for all the toys needed to get set up.

      Yeh I definitely do hate winter and I hate the cold and wet so it doesn't help. Glad I got this session done and I hope that I can get my head back into it. It shows how much it's all mental aswell and physical.

    Great vid, steaming at the end ♨ I feel I get into fitness then lose it in the winter a little because its so cold. I'm sure it will come back, keep it up!

      Yeh I hate winter. I like the summer when I can just chuck a t shirt on and head out the door. I struggle to get out when it's cold and wet 🙈 I'm sure we will get there 👌

      @SwimBikeRunStu Yeah that's literally like me, not into getting up at 06:00 am to get out in the morning. Would much rather go for a jog after work! Swimming looks like the one for the winter! Get down to a local leisure centre and you're sorted 👍

    I've got zero motivation to ride on the turbo and i can't be bothered to switch zwift back on... Thankfully I'm really enjoying CX so i just use races as training... Xc running is been my saviour over many years but I find i haven't got the desire to go out and run either... That said I'm just about to push my lazy arse out the door and get muddy 😂👍🏼
    Don't fret, just do what you can when you can... It's only a hobby 😉👍🏼

      Well it does all go with your youtube name 🤣🤣 I'm slowly changing my mindset so fitness incoming. Probably going to give cross and cross country a miss until the new year and spend the next 6 weeks really hitting the build phase.

    Have you thought of a bikepacking trip ?
    It's cycling (with added weight of whatever you want to carry) with an overnight camp (or hotel stay).
    I am in exactly in almost the same situation with motivation on the bike, (currently everytime I run I have a calf injury so I'm keeping a bit clear of running for a bit longer), I'm finding the swimming easier because it is a booked activity. Maybe join a Zwift Team Trial club that race every week on the same day. It may only be once a week but that fear of letting others down certainly gives you another reason to keep fit. If you want to consider an accountability partner I am happy to collaborate with you on it.

      I've been asked to go bike packing and it's definitely not for me. I can see the appeal but I won't be doing it 🙈
      I have just signed up with the tri club for some sessions so like you say I think meeting up with other people will help with the mojo 👌

    mate, just sign up to some zwift races or get in a good group. honestly although it's hard sometimes it will take your mind of the boredom of riding inside and get you excited to get on.

      Yeh I'm going to sign up to some group rides and training sessions with my triathlon club so hopefully that can inspire me to get on the bike a bit more. I think it's just the time of the year and hopefully the mojo comes back 👌

    I hate the stationary bike. I can never get comfortable in the saddle. I even use little air pads under the feet to get some rocking, but the "area" just can't handle the longer sessions.

      I must be quite lucky but I have never had that issue so that's a positive for me 🤔 The longest I can do is 90 minutes. Any more and I get super bored and switch of 🙈
