I have an Elves Falath pro bike that I built from buying the frame and forks and it is brilliant. The bike is great, the paint job is top notch and the customer service in the UK is great as well. Based on that I have just bought their latest Falath Evo UCI approved frame and forks and i am in the process of building it up.
I can’t wait to see the build video and then hear the review. You said with upgraded paint frame and form set up is less than 2000 pounds I would definitely try it.
Elves are the real deal. An up and coming Chinese brand with a good reputation having made branded frames for other companies for quite a few years. Having a dedicated UK branch is a plus. Have two new frames coming out in '25. A gravel frame and an update to the Elgath with a lot more clearance. Interested to see hoiw this turns out. Building it up will be a challenge.

the horizontal line has flexion ( It is rigid like the Ceepo Shadow or flexes the horizontal rub like the Cervelo CXP5.??? Ask your if testing that rigid or flexes
I dislike that they went the extreme way. This type of design is more likely to come with issues than a standard frame desgin, or it can break over time more easily due to the unusual way that there's no seattube, short area that has to deal with all forces put through the saddle. This puts me off buying from this brand honestly. If they went a more established and safer route... I would have considered! But, It looks fast and I'm curious how easy it is to set up? Looking forward to your build!
I think the same, from what I’ve read I don’t think it’s been in a wind tunnel or CFD modelling so it’s not even like it’s proven as faster, not every brand has to be ‘different’ 😅
I totally misheard that, I thought for a minute you said "When I spoke to the elves about this bike"... how do I talk to these elves about a new xmas bike? :) Nice bike! reminds me of a modern version of Miguel Indurains "Sword" Pinarello TT bike from the 90s.
Ive got 2 elves, a falath aero bike and their vanyar lightweight hill climber. customer service is spot on, the frame is immaculate, paint jobs amazing. their aero bars are spot on. so far they have been perfect in anyway and theyre like 800 quid a frame. a similar offering from a western brand is thousands - the only 2 things i really dont like about them is 1. the saddle clamp mechanism is a faff, you need 4 hands to fit a saddle and 2. the grit texture comes too far up the seatpost so if like me you size down there is no hiding it. additional point - the bottle dan has on there is shit, theyre ali express specials. there aint no bung in the lid so if every hole you hit the liquid flies outta the bottle and you end up with a sticky frame.. bin that for sure lol - dunno why elves make a lovely frame then stick that garbage bottle on there

If I saw that in transition I would think, the rider is either going to podium or is a dentist.
Haha ermmmmm 👀🤣

Never considered a Chinese frame before but definitely will be checking them out now I've seen this video and your info. Thanks.
@justjase1576 Just bought an OGevkin frame. They're a similar company to Elves. Tracevelo and China cycling YT channels worth a watch.
@@stephenbetley9596 Nice, thanks! I will check them out.
Really keen to see this built up!
Cheers, me too! Hopefully sort it this weekend 😬
Great shout. I've ridden a 'dodgy' Chinese frame to a fastest AG 70.3 bike split. It's where the sensible money goes. Frame looks sick.
Your build is great! Some brands wanting 5k for a frame is laughable isn’t it 😅

Another happy elves owner, road bike rather than TT but have found the customer service to be great!
That’s great to hear! It’s a big factor in a buying process isn’t it. Cheers for the comment 👊
Been eyeing one of these! Keen to see how you go! Looking for my first tri bike
I’m looking forward to following this build mate! When’s the next recording coming?
Thanks very much! Going to build it up this weekend - video next week :)

Oh cool!
I ask you that testing to rigid to frame or its flex to horizontal bar
Interesting looking bike Dan. Love the paint job 🔥
Looks proper swish! Very unique.
@@CycleXplorer cheers, I think so too! Looking forward to building it up
After cutting the seat tube to something within range, how much adjustment up/down is possible for saddle after
great shout, I'll have a look at this when I build it up later this week :)
@@TriathlonDanlet us know how / what tools you used for cutting it too! I’m learning here! And building my frame in 2 weeks!
Im riding a elves Falath evo, customer service is second to none, interested in how you get on with this build!!
Front end looks mint

Beam bikes go back over 20 years, more recently with Cervelo, not heard of any issue with them breaking any more than regular designs.

Wooh lovely paint at that price
It’s such a good USP to have isn’t it
Is that three tt bikes at the moment?...
can someone tag me when the build video comes up?
Great Video, hope you enjoy it as much as I love mine. Any questions let me know.
You'll have a TT bike for everyday of the week!
Haha they aren't all staying that's for sure!
That looks 👌👌👌
seat angle of 76 degree ???? uffff, my speedmax got 80 degree
I don’t really know what this means 🤣
Enjoy your new bike but I am mix on them
very nice 👍
Cheers! Don’t want to ride it and chip it 😭
That downgrade of a Cervelo didnt last long then
You really don’t like the Cervelo do you 🤣 I need to get out on it when the weather slows
You've spoke to other Elves owners?? I can't believe you're condoning elf slavery Dan, especially at this time of year 😂😂😂.
It looks more solid than an old softride. Those things were awful
Another one 😂
Frameset doesn’t count as a bike 👀
@TriathlonDan would lizz say the same?
@ probably best not to ask 😬
