    If you don't want to use this for your living room then a budget projector is fine but don't expect to get much out of it.

      I'm using cheap china beamers for years now, after using an expensive NEC before.
      And what I got from my 90 bucks Bomaker and Abox beamers was a fine 720p projection of huge size. No complaints here.
      But they are noisy, and their construction does not save the lenses from dust.
      This one here has this silent ventilator, has sealed optical components and a nice 1080p projection... so I ordered one some days ago (as always for 90 bucks) and am just sitting here waiting for the delivery man ringing.

    This is the 1st projector I ever bought and its the best I've ever bought. I feel that the brightness is comparable to actual theater projector brightness considering the screen sizes in darkly lit rooms. Also, u get what u pay for. I AUX out to a Larger sized audio system receiver for best effect.

      @@conradjones9673 great. Especially when aux to a nice stereo system. Ppl are saying bad things about it because it may not show as brightly in lit rooms but, that's never the purpose of a projector. In theaters or at home

    Thanks for the review. How can i download the framework?

      if you mean firmware update, it should be in settings. it might not allow over the air updates, so you may have to go to their website, download any available updates for your model number on a USB stick and then download it by plugging in the usb stick to your projector.

    Hi, out of all the native 1080p projectors you've tried, which is the quietest? Thanks

    • @zas786
      @zas786  2 роки тому

      Probably Bomaker and BIGASUO.
      In the end, I prefer to use an external speaker, preferably Bluetooth. If the speaker is placed near the screen, you don't hear any fan noise.

      @@zas786 Hi, ZAS. the room I am using is small so I ony have around 2.5m from the projector to the screen. Its also a low ceiling so the projector is right above my head while I'm viewing. I tried the Bomaker 500 Cinema max and found it too loud. I got a Vamvo L6200 which is defiantly a lot quieter. I am tempted to try something else if I can get something quieter still. Id probably be happy with 720p and second hand if I knew it would be significantly quieter as as the fan noise really does annoy me. I am considering buying another one (Bomaker, Vamvo, whatever...) to dismantle and rebuilt into a larger case, possibly a PC case, with alternative cooling methods. There is a video of someone who built a 4K projector from scratch and he uses a huge heat-sink for the LED with larger but quieter fans. Rebuilding a projector into a larger case would allow something like this. Another video on here shows someone attempting water cooling "which doesn't work in the end". The issue is the heat on the LCD screen from the LED which had damage the LCD.

      @@jc5454 I understand that fan noise is annoying. Looks like you are willing to go through some extreme DIY to get rid of fan noise. 2.5 m isn't too small a room. Have you thought about just running an aux cable through the ceiling between the projector and a speaker? With the speaker 2.5 m away from you, you won't hear any fan noise. Also, what is your budget? Look into an Ultra short throw like the JMGO O1 (i did a review for this one). You will get a lot bigger screen size, and it will eliminate the fan noise problem, since projector sits inches away from the screen.

      @@jc5454 Keep in mind that for most LED and lamp based projectors, fans are essential for keeping the projector temperature down. A necessary evil :-)

      The Vamvo is bearable but I'd still like less noise. The Bomaker sounded like a jet plane! I'm very impressed with the image on both though, even is daylight its watchable and at night its excellent. I have a soundbar for the sound and have the projector speaker muted. I'm getting a screen size of about 60" give or take which is fine.

    I just got this and I'm highly disappointed.
    If you are buying this to watch movies, SKIP IT! This projector stutters so badly if you're watching 24p content. (99% of movies are 24p)
