Hi, my projector(same as yours) actually sits on a very awkward position but I was able project it on the screen perfectly by tweaking the keystones in the settings. 😀
@@erikbulka7139 not really if it is far from the point where you want your media projected. My projector sits 3 feet away from the center of the wall area where I wish to beam the outputs, with the keystone function, I was able to achieve an angle where it looked like it is projecting directly in front of the wall.
Any time you "Reduce Display" or use Keystone correction, the projector image processing distorts the image to some degree. The best/sharpest image will always be with 0 Keystone, Aspect Ratio to "Just Scan", and Reduce Display to 100%.
I learned that the hard way not really knowing anything about projectors and screens. Mounted this on my ceiling in the basement with a 100" screen. Ceiling is too low so I couldn't raise the screen high enough to give the projector a straight projection on the screen and forced to use keystone which makes the image look like shit. Oh well, will have to put this in a room with a higher ceiling.
How is it doing after 6 months? It's been hard to find long term video reviews, they seem to look great at the start but keep seeing written reviews for similarly priced projectors giving out in the first year or image degrading sooner than expected.
Amazon sells an excellent 100" screen. The name brand for it is Amazon Basics. Costs $94 including tax. It isn't cheap either, it is good quality. Frame is sturdy, mounting is great and screen doesn't bleed through since it is solid.
@@RyCamN7 I already have the Apeman LC550 which is 720p and looks good. I just wanted a 1080p one and at this price it’s a steal. I also just got a new BenQ x1300i which is awesome but way too big to be portable. I’ll let you know what I think once I get it tomorrow and watch Justice League on it!
@@RyCamN7 I've heard many great things about Benq so I'd recommend looking into their projectors once you're ready to move up! I haven't really tested mine's out yet because I haven't set it up.
No bluetooth or wifi but i knew that before I bought it. Most people are going to use a streaming stick with this and that has wifi. You can also screencast using your phone. If you want to use wireless speakers you can buy a $20 bluetooth aux adapter. A projector with similar stats is going to cost $100 more for wifi/bluetooth and totally unnecessary imo

it has keystone correction for horizontal and vertical. It also has 100%/75% zoom function so you can pretty much set it where you want to.
Yea I mention he zoom and keystone but I haven’t seen the horizontal key stoning I’ll have to look harder. Thanks.

You can adjust the image size. I have mine set to maybe 85% from maybe 10ft away
This has 25 ° horizontal and vertical digital keystone correction
best projector under $500 imo. Next level is 4k and that's going to be in the $2000 range
Other videos I've seen were able to reduce the image size to 75%

The only thing I wish it had more usb and that cord for the sound bar other then that I love it
I use mine with a sound bar just have to use the 3.5mm Jack.
Did you figure out that u didn't need to move the couch??? You could have used the keystone to modify the angles!!! Horizontal and vertical 😋
Yes the issue wasn’t that as much as near far. I did find some zoom settings but it doesn’t go to far.

It’s doing great and I use it pretty regularly Hasn’t lost any brightness and still runs as quiet.

It is not you would need a cable for your phone or tablet.
Bro... Just got this projector and you can't watch 24p content on it, so that means no movies 🤷♂️🤦♂️

It’s ok sometimes my games can be a little over saturated and it’s not great in low light but for the price it’s still going strong.
Reliability wise it has been solid. Still quiet and no issues.
