Working out even with very light weights has been shown to have incredible effects for the oldest people. My great uncle went vegan at 90 & lived to 105 still sharp as a tack mentally & he had a personal trainer to the end. Doesn’t that say it all?
So you never eat Skittles, Doritos, or Nestle chocolates? How, wuts the secret? I work out 3hrs p/day so for wise I think I'm good, but diet..yeah no..

Pleasure is relative. If you’re really sticking to steamed vegetables like broccoli, purple cabbage, carrots, etc and steamed starches like sweet potatoes, Yukon potatoes, beans and corn, then grapes will taste so pleasurable because they result in your brain releasing more dopamine than the broccoli and potato. I stuck to potatoes and purple cabbage for a few weeks. Then I had steamed broccoli and it tasted like ice cream. Pretty ridiculous. But all it would take is a small snack or bag of doritos to make my broccoli and potatoes look and taste not as good because the doritos release way more dopamine than the broccoli and potato. Doritos are 2400 calories per pound. White potatoes are 325 and broccoli is 150-200 calories per pound. It’s just like any other drug. You’ll get used to smaller amounts of dopamine and so long as you’re not blowing out your dopamine, the amounts of dopamine released by healthy foods will make you feel happy. It doesn’t take long. Keeping the food you want to eat within arms reach will help a bunch. At some point, you’re going to get hungry and you’ll eventually eat SOMETHING. You’ll do best to make sure that something is a food that will nourish you without poisoning you. It’s all about keeping a very clean environment, as Dr Doug Lisle would say. After you’re full on vegetables and starches, you’ll find it easy to not eat Doritos and skittles. Good luck 👊🏼

GUYS! Use a slow juicer and save the pulp in your fridge in a sealed bag or container and then throw that pulp in your soups, smoothies and on your salads!!! That way you get all of the fiber, too! I’m starting to think that I need to write a book of all of my vegan tips! 🤦🏻
Man, I'll take any input or direction you have. Weekend dad here, my 7yr old on her own became non animal when she asked where delish bacon comes from.. 6yrs later, she never looked back. How can I make sure her lil growing body is getting properly nutrated? With me her dinners are ramen soups.. I worry thats insufficient. Any books, websites, or videos you can steer me towards?

I healed my hyperthyroidism by switching to an only plant base diet and gluten free diet after 1 year of doing this pkus started to see an increase in my kidney function as I continued to eat plant base. I went back to eating meat and eggs for a bit because I kepted being told I need more protein and started having sugar imbalances so totally went back to plant base now and don't want to hear anything about meat, eggs again etc...for me that's the healthier choice and hoping I can do raw till 4pm later on in life.

Great interview! The only “criticism” I would have is that when you have an increase in fibre & plants in general, it’s important to also drink significantly more water as otherwise the body will have a more difficult time breaking it/them down ❤️

Great question on if smoothies/sugar cause diabetes. If I understand Dr. Barnard correctly It’s not the sugar or the smoothies, it’s the combination with fat that causes the problem. Great interview! I’m currently transitioning to WFPB. Last week I started juicing daily too. My body LOVES green juices. I’ll be doing a 10 day juice fast next month for the first time and I’m super excited about it. I’d like to eventually eat high raw 80% - 85%. For me it works better to have a slow transition as opposed to going cold turkey. Your channel is helping me through the transition. Thank you!! Please interview more WFPB doctors. Some people will place a higher credibility to the diet when it comes from docs.
The main medical doctor that’s probably the biggest proponent for raw foods would be Dr. Baxter Montgomery. He would be great to have on the channel if you want clearer opinions on raw foods and juicing as part of medical treatment.❤
What he's 70 no way! WOW! He's so lucid, intelligent, showing now signs of mental aging and physically looks like hes say 55 or 60! Amazing! Btw I thought you were 30 years old! 😊 So going raw vegan for my internals and ... externals especially my skin but I'd first like all those leafy greens and cruciferous to scrub my arteries clean of plaque and other gunk 😉
I’ve been on clean eating for over a month and lost 22 pounds, also do fruit juices, went down from 222 to 200 so far, keep eating healthy and you got this!
Throw the organic cinnamon in your daily oatmeal! I also toss in organic powders of pomegranate, dragon fruit, acai, & cacao, along with organic raisins, almonds, & organic dark grade A maple syrup. It’s THE BOMB!
For inflammation? Organic turmeric & black pepper in a 97/3 ratio (this ratio is typical in supplements from MyKind, etc. & the science says this multiplies the effects TWENTY TIMES!) I take it every day and sometimes toss it in food and it’s definitely helped reverse the genetic arthritic joint issues.

Great interview! The only “criticism” I would have is that when you have an increase in fibre & plants in general, it’s important to also drink significantly more water as otherwise the body will have a more difficult time breaking it/them down ❤️
Amazing interview. One of the best EVER! 💖 To all the people here, I hope you pay attention to Dr Barnard at 12:14. He says that whole grains are good, as well as beans, peas and lentils. Exclude them from your diet at your risk.
So true! It is so irritating and frustrating that the spray free organic veggies we get have animal manure used to grow them and living in a closed apartment makes it difficult to grow veggies.

Great question on if smoothies/sugar cause diabetes. If I understand Dr. Barnard correctly It’s not the sugar or the smoothies, it’s the combination with fat that causes the problem. Thanks for an information packed interview and good questions. Both you and Dr. Barnard are good representatives for a Whole Foods plant-based vegan diet.

Great interview! I’m currently transitioning to WFPB. Last week I started juicing daily too. My body LOVES green juices. I’ll be doing a 10 day juice fast next month for the first time and I’m super excited about it. I’d like to eventually eat high raw 80% - 85%. For me it works better to have a slow transition as opposed to going cold turkey. Your channel is helping me through the transition. Thank you!! Please interview more WFPB doctors. Some people will place a higher credibility to the diet when it comes from docs.

The main medical doctor that’s probably the biggest proponent for raw foods would be Dr. Baxter Montgomery. He would be great to have on the channel if you want clearer opinions on raw foods and juicing as part of medical treatment.❤

Btw I thought you were 30 years old! 😊 So going raw vegan for my internals and ... externals especially my skin but I'd first like all those leafy greens and cruciferous to scrub my arteries clean of plaque and other gunk 😉

I’ve been on clean eating for over a month and lost 22 pounds, also do fruit juices, went down from 222 to 200 so far, keep eating healthy and you got this!

For inflammation? Organic turmeric & black pepper in a 97/3 ratio (this ratio is typical in supplements from MyKind, etc. & the science says this multiplies the effects TWENTY TIMES!)
