I think the fact that you are still learning is part of the appeal. Many of us are in the exact same boat and maybe only 5-10 steps behind you. Whatever is happening, you have a magic formula of some kind because I've enjoyed everyone of these 10 minute videos, I've learned at least one thing from each of them that I didn't expect to, and everyone I've shown them to becomes hooked. I'm even trying to teach my kids to use Blender now. "E to extrude, S to scale" all over the place. :)
I usually don't use the subscribe button, only for people who I watch everyday, and I must say you're very entertaining, and I learn a ton from you and you're such a great person and youtuber, and for this you earned my sub.
"Not meant to be a tutorial" I Learn something new in everyone one of these videos. Watching some people teach is excruciating bc they try to break it down instead of getting to the point. Thanks for these Videos, They've really helped me be more efficient in Blender.
Thank you Imphenzia, because this series gives me the inspiration to do my work faster , 'cause I used to spend hours modelling something at a snail's pace.

That trick to mass-create the windows was mind blowing.
You are my new favorite channel! I love your personality and sense of humor. These videos are marvelously helpful for modeling noobs like myself, to help learn little tips and tricks to make "basic" shapes become something very cool. So, cheers on the great work so far, and yeah you are right, don't worry about getting 'crazy' or stressing out to make a crazy looking thing in 10 minutes. We appreciate your work without you needing to go nuts in the process. Keep it enjoyable for yourself, so you can keep pumping these out!
really enjoy watching your videos, they are very informative and I'm motivated by them as well.... I did a low poly truck 2 days ago because I've seen what u did in 10 minutes. keep at it.
Great as usual... I also just watched your Ludum dare video about the guy stealing from the neighbor and I thought that it would be very helpful for me and a lot of people if you made a video about how to pick things up and throw them. Thanks for the video it was great!! :D
Thank you a lot for your time! we appreciate that you still take the time before you sleep for such videos! I like your style and I like the way you make those tutorials. looking forward to next week for the cars tutorial in unity.
Only thing to add - when doing an inset of a group of faces ( edit mode->select faces->press I ) the default is to do as shown in this demo - do inset the group of faces around boundary of all. There is a bunch of options which appear at top left. One is Individual ( I ) : OFF. If you accidentally press I again it set to ON. Rather than what you see here each individual face will inset. Just press I again to get effect you need.
I love these 10 min challenge videos and the Unity racing game videos! They're really well done! Can you try making a mini planet in 10 mins with like trees, shrubs, hills, water, canyons, etc?
As your kids are already heavily involved in this (which is awesome!), how about an episode where your kids first get to brainstorm a game idea (with minimal/zero input from you, to avoid too much focus on what's what's possible or not), which you then attempt to implement/prototype in Unity. Have had a lot of great such experiences with my 4y old recently, as we try to keep him entertained during these "fun" pandemic times, which has really forced me outside of my comfort zone and made me learn a lot of new things. 4y old: Me: That's impossible! You are not my son! 4y old: You can do it, dad! Me: No! That's imposs...hmm..wait a minute Me: Me: It's aliiiiive! Would love to see what you guys come up with if you do this. Keep up the great work!
Never did texturing ever, but figured out how to do you're texture thing finally, only took 15 minutes >_> lol hopefully will get faster in future. 15 minutes later got cube mirrored and the texture sheet applied, time to attempt to model something simple.
Your videos really motivate me. I wanted to learn Blender for some time now but I've never gotten over my lazy ass. I felt the same before starting to learn Unity last summer. It's about time I get started because good art is key to get your game recognised and have a better chance to build an audience! PS: If you feel like it, you could make UA-cam polls where the viewers decide what you gonna model in future videos.
Let's build something in ten-ish minutes... STRESS FREE! Oh what the hell, some could take days... Actually, build a 3D city with levels on all levels (you know like zoom in on 87th street after completion). But Don't forget the spiral access ramps... Also the many interconnected such buildings (I mean livable spaces complete with adequate yard space "up there". Why do I suggest this? Because you are about 1,000x faster than I at putting effort into this awesome program. Btw, make the giant machines that make the 3D cities... And I'm sure that low poly is preferable in this visualization!
if you viewport is kinda messed up (zoomed, panned), try click the "." or "," Key at your numpad -> to pan your viewport camera to your current selection. Works with vertices/eges/faces in edit mode and also within objectmode and mutliple selections ;)
Watching you it seems so easy, but when I’m about to do it suddenly not so easy, and keep forgetting techniques, except my inset-extrude-scale skill :D That’s on max level now.
Yes!!, btw you are really entertaining to watch xD recommendation: try to do a specific car like a porsche 917k or maybe a ford gt40? great vid once again!
Hi, i love your videos and teaching style. I have a problem about that uv map scaling thing. When we do that scale to zero thing for using colors from that pallettes, we are just breaking objects uv maps. After that when i import them to unity, i can't use realtime lightmapping or baked lightmapping becasue of the object uvmaps. Do you have any solutions for this?
First up, nicely done on that skyscraper. Secondly, I have a request: Make a tank. And since you have some interest in Warhammer 40k, perhaps you might want to make something along the lines of a Leman Russ (the tank, not the Primarch).
Hi ,Dave from Colorado, my friend and both are modeling in two different programs, he's in blender, I'm in maya, we both are making great tracks, cars, please give code for the rest, can't wait to drive our courses 🤗, and thanks for the challenge
Any reason you don't use the circle select? I noticed this in other videos. I am not a fan of it as I am only a few months into Blender and I keep pressing the wrong thing, but it can be useful to select loads of faces in a quick sweep rather than multiple clicks.
Thanks for your videos! I've learned a lot from them. How can I keep the cavity configurations in Unity? As soon as I import the fbx file in Unity, it loses the settings and does not look good.
... so ... , artistic oriented 3D authoring software is the bane of most structural engineers. An artist with a Frank Lloyd Wright sense of aesthetics can create, in 10 minutes, a shape that easily exists in a virtual world, but is an engineer's mathematical nightmare to try and make it exist in a real physical universe. "You blinkin' artists with your weird angled walls and swimming pools on a 30th floor terrace - you can't just 'E to extrude - S to scale' like that in the real world!" I'm pretty sure I heard an engineer say that once! {D
I'm curious, have you seen Chris Prenninger's videos on "nondestructive modelling" (eg. watch?v=PAcTlQWmizo)? I find both his and your techniques to be quite interesting, but being very new to 3d-modelling I have a hard time understanding if it would even be possible to integrate the two styles. Any thoughts on possible benefits from incorporating his techniques into your own?
you should write a book or something "E to extrude, S to scale"
awesome name!
It's also a good drinking game.
Sounds too complicated

I learned more from this video, than I did on a skyscraper tutorial after watching it 4 times over. Seriously. Thank you so much!
I'm glad that the algorithm suggested your channel!

Very skillful yet so humble. Thanks for sharing all of your 10mins. modeling challenge 💯
Enjoyed this video! Have you ever thought of modelling an armored character in 10 minutes? I think it would be a good challenge.
even if this is not a tutorial video, i get the best tutorials by those videos lol idk why it helps me the most

I'm always very impressed with the quality of the models you get from 10 minutes I would be very curious to see what you could do in an hour
Please do some coding and unity tutorials also
Yes, I am planning some of those ! =)
@@Imphenzia Thank You love to watch your videos
@@Imphenzia Yes please! Love your teaching style, the more we can learn from you the better!
@@Imphenzia thank you so much

April 2nd you had 40k subs, now you have doubled that in less than three months. Keep going like this and you'll be at 200k by 2021!!
warhammer 40k is a really fun hobby, great job on the paint job for those miniatures!
I really love these videos, super glad UA-cam recommended your channel out of nowhere :D Keep it up!
You're like Jazza of blender! xD Enjoying the content!
I love watching these 10 min challenges but I'd also love to see what you can do in 30min
I'm a new subscriber, and I have no regret. Your videos are awesome !!!
welcome to the low poly crew XD

Woot! Epic results with no stress. :-)
Excellent job as ever. Well done. I will ensure to go to the top as not to get blown off the roof. Lol. Have a great week.

actually would take me hours lol :D
do a decently simple build like 1 car or 1 small house but put like a lot of detail into it love the videos

Now i'm dreaming
of "E to extrude, G to move". And after waking up in a drowsy state, I imagine how to model 10 LOW POLY CAR'S!
Haha, that's in my dreams too. Maybe 15 cars could be doable?? =)

There is a skyscraper in Tbilisi which is really easy to build in Blender. Even newbie can do that in 10 minutes ;)

Wondering how long it will take for you to construct the Biltmore hotel tower from Tbilisi
You should do a video where you take all your models, and make a short scene in 10minutes.
Well, I didn't give shit about the wobbliness, who cares, you only wasted time apologising for it, the content matters! Good video !!! Thanks

MAN I do NOT envy those who had to build New York City for Spider-Man games. yeesh!
Try to do a snare drum maybe? I'm trying this currently and I fidn it quite hard to do the details and symmetry :)
You're awesome, thanks for teach us!!! Without english I understand the E S R and wheel mouse LOL
Wow you are really Blender Bob Ross
Would be fun if you did a challenge for us the subscribers to build and something in 10 min and then compared it to your own model.
11:26 I was stunned man
You should do 10 different guns in 10 minutes. Either that or swords. Or both
Could you try making a Suspension bridge?
Something like the Golden Gates
Cool idea - I will add to list =)
wow nice i just start learning how to build something in Blender and i already made a Dice :O

use blender to do some stabilization and crop the video a little. keep your snazzy camera rig.

I'll answer my own question.. "First One" by Imphenzia!
2mins for base, 5 for structure, 3 for detailing( best for me 30 mins for the whole)
By chance just what I needed to do today :) how do you get these edge highlights in the viewer? My Blender doesn’t do it any of the view modes.
Check out his video about his blender setup video. Basically it's Workbench renderer with cavity selected ;)

could you make a city with small houses at the front then large tall building from behind then skies and mountains at the background.
I can see it now,..Low poly CGI tv series XD
can you show how to animate car and export to unity or explane how to work with variables in c#. Its so interesting but difficult to sort out

are you planning to make a school in 10 minutes?

how do you set it up to assign the same material each time you press shift+A ?
