It seemed to be my style of music and thankfully it only took maybe 2 or 3 practice runs to figure out what cymbals I was going to use and it came together really quickly, no notes 📝 needed and this song didn’t have too many changes to remember. Although he is a blues musician, he’s also quite the rocker 🥁 in the end I probably spent a half hour or less to get this final take 🎬 I haven’t made any adjustments on the mixer, just a little snare tweaking that I do on every song, and because this was a little louder, I went to a 5a Vater hickory stick. On the song before this I was using Vater Hickory 8a sticks.

@@bryandrums32 , Yes this is a brand new song 🎵 just came out. He’s my favorite blues musician but he can rock ! I’m using my 5a nylon tip sticks and they are doing all the work, I’m just sitting there holding them. Fortunately those sticks learned this song in 5 minutes and I had a good take and It was complete 🤗. Yes I seem to be rocking a little more these days since experimenting with the 5a’s 🍗 Thanks for your gracious support and words ❤️
I just love the guitar play to this first time heard song. That rocking drum play you exhibit is top shelf, and it enhances the solid piano play as well. Love those triplets you mix into your show. Super cool percussion, my drowsy drummer buddy.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️
@@gregwonhoff7161 , I discovered Joe Bonamassa roughly around 2014 , and have become a huge fan I’ve seen him twice live and have around ten of his Blue Ray concerts on discs 📀 he’s a blues guitar 🎸 and singer. A major success in blues music, but definitely not a name anyone would know. He has over 20 albums out, has the best musicians in his bands. He also plays different styles of music including Rock. This is a new song that I heard the night before I recorded it. Yes it was fun to play a little heavier music 🎵 for a change.

@@dwstoeckel4740 YES WERE ON A MISSION FROM GOD 😇 I just found this song yesterday night and it was a new release on His channel, I knew instantly this song was for me. Thankfully it was a pretty predictable song 🎵 that didn’t require too much memory problems for me. I actually got the song down and recorded in a rather quick amount of time. I have another song 🎵 that I also recorded, coming up next that was a request and again, it came together quite quickly for me. 👍🤗🥁
