As a long time Alice In Chains fan when I heard this at the end of the program I thought it was fitting. In the 3:02 minutes played it summed up the career of AIC. The show needed to be ended like this. I could not have thought of a more perfect way. Thank you playing this and thank you for the tears that streamed down my face reflecting on how much this band went through.
I originally found this song during covid and imediately thought of my Uncle Gilbert Flores who was a local band leader in Brighton, up until the love of his life, my Aunt Helen, passed away in the 80's. Anyway, because of covid we could never properly celebrate his life and then last year another Aunt had passed due to other health issues and I was finally able to show my cousins this version and they all said that Uncle Gilbert, their Dad, would've loved this version. Of course all of the versions of this song are special but this one speaks the loudest to my family because of Uncle's great career. Thank you Eric and Encarnacion and of course to Alice in Chains. May GOD bless you richly!
This is a fantastic adaption of the original song,.and an incredible piece of art. I close my eyes and I'm taken to another world. Love your work guys!! Truly amazing stuff 😍
@@seattleflamenco me gusta la versión donde suena la bocina de un auto o camión creo y de ahí la risa de Eric, es orgánico y se amalgama con la ciudad y la música. Es bellísima esta versión
Sorry mooky407. It actually wasn’t spontaneous. We restored the original master as recorded. The ambient noise was edited in afterwards. We felt it was more respectful to the composition and intention of the song.

What were the lyrics in this version?
It was a direct translation in Spanish of the original.
Duerme, negro cambia a azul.
Duerme, mis recuerdos tú.
Why edit the train horn out? Made it feel more authentic and spontanious.
