Fred Durst was another anomaly. He was the frontman of a nu metal band called Limp Bizkit who also had a couple breakthrough hits in an era dominated by pop. I think a lot of Eminem's early stuff benefits from context because it references pop culture so heavily.

(His mom had addiction issues and Munchausen syndrome by proxy) and so Nate was taken from her. He has one biological daughter, Hailey, adopted his niece (His ex wife's sisters daughter. And a daughter Kim had when they were divorced. ) Just telling you that in case you react to songs that will be confusing if you don't know. Anyway, a brief background. And, while some fans only like his older "Slim Shady" music. I favor the newer, music for the most part. Old stuff is good too. But I like his clever writing.
