That’s why having so many arrows was an issue in the first place though. When there’s so many arrows that weren’t necessary to listen to, a single arrow you DO need to listen to isn’t really good indication (although it is still indication)
@@JacobPDeIiNoNi But that's the thing: You need to listen to each arrow. Each arrow is positioned in a spot where you press right. One arrow, one right press. No arrow, no right press. Each time an arrow appears, press right. If they had fewer right arrows, you wouldn't have one for each place you press right.
@@Moleculor there were some spots with arrows panga was getting through just fine without pressing right though, at least from what I could tell. Obviously I can’t see his controller inputs. If every right arrow really is necessary, it is good indication then, though I think still a bit messy (though in a complicated course like this that’s really difficult not to happen)
All he had to do was listen to the indication. He needed to hold right, there were arrows to show you need to hold right. Not Jank, he didn’t read the indication correctly.

I actually like the idea that someone made a level that has some cool physics to it that's challenging you to learn new aspects of the game. I really like how this level is laid out and I sincerely hope you had fun playing and learning it!

It’s required In many recent cape hacks. I spent 37min waiting for him to mention he tried that but I never got an answer 😪

his point is that it can be a softlock given the right circumstances, when youre making you level you have to keep in mind trying to go out of your way to make sure a player can never ever get softlocked even if theyre trying to especially after checkpoints. so yeah during normal gameplay its highly unlikely that that part would result in someone getting softlocked but it shouldnt be possible in the first place.
That Cape level reminded me of the Shinespark in Metroid games, where you have to know how to keep your momentum almost frame perfectly Edit: In Super Metroid, at least in Wrecked Ship, there are some conveyor belts that help you Shinespark

I don't know if you folks ever heard or played it but, this level gives me Doom: Plutonia vibes. As if the creator made a section of the level harder for the sake of making it difficult. Yet, all it did was make it jank. Parts need to be fixed or removed and this level would be really good.

I don't think the MM cape is the problem, the problem is that the course design needs to be built around it. This cape course is just jankily built. Having a better cape wouldn't really change anything as the course would still be designed poorly around the mechanics.

Panga, the height is determined by your height prior. So to go higher you need to stay high on the previous pump

7+ years of this game and i still dont understand how the player's time is calculated at the end of the level
Once the player hits a checkpoint they continue the timer after their death.
