Hi! :) I've seen a few questions come back a lot of times in the comments, so I'll make a pinned comment to answer most of them right here: Q: "You could've used an auto-crafter for the stone pickaxe instead!" A: Unfortunately, the crafting recipe for the Crafter requires a Dropper, and to craft a Dropper, you need... Cobblestone. On top of that, unlike Dispensers that generate in a few structures, Droppers currently don't generate in any structures, so the only way to obtain a Dropper would be to craft it. Q: "You could've used Blackstone to craft the stone pickaxe!" A: Just like Cobblestone and Deepslate Cobblestone, obtaining Blackstone also gives you the cobblestone advancement, so it wouldn't work. Q: "You could've traded a toolsmith villager for the stone pickaxe!" A: Yup! But it felt wrong to me to get the villager trading advancement at the same time as the cobblestone advancement, so I preferred avoiding it Q: "You could've looted a Trial Chamber to get the stone pickaxe!" A: ...Yes. I completely forgot this structure existed 💀 Q: "How did you craft a bucket without getting the "Acquire Hardware" advancement?" A: By using Iron Nuggets! If you place your Iron Nuggets in the crafting table to craft ingots, *as long as the ingots don't land in your inventory*, you won't get the advancement, so you can grab them with your mouse and immediately put them back to the crafting table to craft your bucket (or any item that requires iron), and avoid the advancement! This trick also works with Iron Blocks (which is how I crafted the bucket when I was in the Nether, and which is also why I was so happy to find an Iron Block in the chest!) Q: "Why do you textures look old?" A: I use the "Programmer's Art" texture pack, which shows the old textures from before the 1.14 texture revamp. The only exception is the Netherrack, I got a lot of comments regarding the old Netherrack in my previous videos, and I agree that the old Netherrack looks kinda harsh, so I decided to change it to the new texture. I kept the rest of the old textures though, since I prefer them. Q: "You got "War Pigs" after entering the bastion! Shouldn't it be the other way around?" A: You're right! I completely forgot this advancement existed, and in theory I should've opened a bastion chest before entering the bastion. My bad. Q: "You got the obsidian advancement while still in the Nether! Aren't you supposed to get it afterwards?" A: Yes, but since I decided to continue the challenge at 12:08 as if we didn't do the Nether yet, it also means I continued the challenge as if I never got the Obsidian from the Nether, and if you put things back in the "right" order (End > Overworld (Stronghold, then going to the Nether) > Nether > Overworld), then we would've gotten the obsidian advancement at the correct moment (after getting "We Need to Go Deeper!"). I do agree it was a bit confusing in the video though, it was hard to explain clearly! Q: "The first advancement you get is actually Monster Hunter at 2:23!" A: Yup, but I didn't really pay much attention to it since it's from the "Adventure" tab in the advancements menu, and I focused mainly on the "Minecraft", "Nether" and "End" tabs, since those tabs are linked to the dimensions (which was the core of my challenge at first: doing the dimensions backwards). Also, a few comments answered my confusion at 18:09 (thanks for your comments!): This weird thing underground with bricks and stuff is an underground structure called "Trail Ruins"! It got added into the game in 1.20, and doesn't really have anything interesting inside, it's just a random structure. I hope this answers some of your questions! Thanks for watching the video, and thanks for reading this comment! :)
For a pickaxe you also could’ve gotten bad omen, start a raid, defeat the raid and obtain hero of the village, trap a tool smith villager, wait for him to throw you gift, toolsmith gifts have a chance of being a stone pic. It’s a lengthy process though.
This is why Minecraft is perfectly perfection, you can do it and play it in any literal way.... I've seen videos of people playing in reverse and raiding end cities using shulkers+chorus fruit combo but I didn't think you would used achievements as the path, that's actually cool
@imag3ryy Oh sorry let me check my watch... Yeah you're right it was 9.5 min What is wrong with me saying I laughed at something? I had a fit of laughter and enjoyed watching yt, that's it
Instead of confusing the game, you could have gotten a stone pickaxe another way. A villager toolsmith can sell you a stone pickaxe at a 20 percent chance i beleive.
yup, i thought about it, but it felt wrong to get both the villager trading advancement AND the stone pickaxe advancement at the same time, so I preferred going with the second hand trick (plus, if i can go out of my way to do a goofy trick for the video, i will)

P.S. seriously, good job on the video. It seems like a challenge SmallAnt would do.

The nether is actually the best place to obtain food. Fully automated hoglin farms are easy to build, and they spawn at a much higher rate than passive mobs. All you really need to make it work other than basic building blocks for a small platform is a light source, warped fungus (and blocks they can be placed on, suggest soul soil), a few trapdoors and a damage source (I used soul campfires rather than lava because I wanted the raw pork rather than the cooked variety for villager trading). If you want it fully automated then you of course need a hopper and a chest, both obtainable in the nether. If you use lava then you need to use a hopper or the items will burn. Otherwise you can just stand about 25 blocks away and go loot the pork every 5-10 minutes, do that for a few cycles and you will have enough pork to last the run. I got several stacks of pork every 10 minutes this way and the farm takes maybe 20 minutes or less to build. This might even in some cases be your only way to obtain meat. I ended up somehow filling the passive mob cap on my skyblock world so I couldn't obtain any passive mobs to breed for meat but I couldn't figure out what was filling the mob cap. Not even with a map mod that shows where mobs are and searching the spawn chunks was I able to find whatever it was. Possibly cats from the nearby villager trading hall, but I named/tamed all the cats I found. By the time I built a bridge to a non-frozen biome and obtained silk touch to bring grass blocks there, it was already too late. As soon as I built the trading hall, passive mobs pretty much stopped spawning entirely. In hindsight, I should've built a farm much earlier and tamed some rabbits so I would've at least had *some* passive mobs, I just wasn't particularly interested in rabbit meat.
