When I was in High School we had a "Military" Marching Band, but my youngest is in a "Show Band", and I have seen some pretty flashy stuff at their competitions, but nothing like this.
Cool tricks and lots of talent, but still... the uniforms are pretty lame.
Better to put these guys in the Superbowl halftime show and save us the torture of having to endure another pop star. This is REAL talent.
Indeed ! 😯💞💞💞
I cannot agree with you more!
They'd do society a great benefit if they showed the halftime show of college games on TV instead of more commercials.
....OH YES....OH YES....................HELL YES.................
they won't invite them to perform no women or "people of color" that I can see
This is the kind of entertainment I would like to see for the Super Bowl half time this is real talent❤
A half time show of bands from high schools and colleges...ending with the military band!!!!!
EXACTLY
JayZ would never allow this at half time. Wrong race.
@@Soccermom1018
JayZ gets to decide who performs during halftime now?
Yup. I miss the football 🏈 throwing contest as well.
I was a band dad. The kids in marching band work harder and are more united than any sports team. You cannot get this type of precision without discipline. Well done!
My father.. a drummer.. loved this thanks so very much... This would be a great short intermission for a trump rally so perfect so disciplined makes me very proud keep posting
Many people miss the fact that during the sequence at 5:00 every drummer is playing his drum, PLUS the one on EACH SIDE, WITH BOTH HANDS. Perfect synchronicity. This clip is from the 2012 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (the 60th anniversary of Elizabeth II's reign)
Thank you for identifying them; I was reading through all comments in the hope someone would do just that. I am in awe.
Thank you for the information. I wondered where they were from.
Ah, they are favourites at the Royal Military Tattoo, but they are not British. They are actually from Switzerland and are called 'The Top Secret Drum Corps'. The British drum Corps are the 'Royal Marines Corps of Drums'. Very good also, but a bit more 'stiff upper lip' than these guys who add a little fun and panache to their performance.
Edit: There would be a monumental outcry if the Superbowl Halftime performance was not from the USofA.z
@@lukewise1227hat's to bad they cant do our SuperBowl...guess our drummers better drummer up! Cause a show like this could put the inspiring back in the game 😉
Truly what a honor what these drummers represent then! Thanks for addressing who they are..it means that much more to know who we are actually admiring!
I’ve been to the Tattoo a few times. It’s always fascinating, but this is totally hypnotic.
What one human can achieve can be amazing. What humans working together can achieve is awe-inspiring !

I can't tell you how entranced I was watching this, it made me laugh, and gasp, it made me VERY HAPPY. So glad I ran into this video! WOW! Not only is the drumming INCREDIBLE..BUT the choreography of the drum players is MAGNIFICENT! BRAVO!👍🏽😁👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
That was just about the most enjoyable six minutes that I have ever seen with drums, it was utterly faultless and the good thing was that you never even thought that any of them would make a mistake, this was real talent that is very rarely seen.
They are fantastic but I did see one drumstick hit the ground. Never pick it up...leave it and keep performing.
@@sandrabargas501 I missed the dropped drumstick so it never ruined the performance, I suppose mistakes will always be made..
They're human & that happens. 1/10th of a point off for dropped equipment. So their overall score would've been about 99.9?
I can’t even imagine the number of countless hours of practice to produce this masterful performance. I was a drummer in the Weldonian marching band and I could never conceive of performing at this stratospheric level. The synchronicity is mind blowing.
Absolutely!!
In marching band we rehearsed about three hours per minute of performance just to get the marching right, and about the same for the music, and probably twice that when we put the two together.
2 hours is enough
I😊Abdolutely fabulous!

Having been in Drum Corps for years, I can honestly say that I have never heard anything quite like this. Fantastic
I've seen many this good at DCI (Drum Corp International). We here in the USA have many excellent Drum Corp bands!
I competed in a few DCI competitions along time ago also competed in the World Championships in White Water Wisconsin...When I first saw this Drum Line...I was blown away! I stated looking for more videos...They are world renowned and they rock!
@@ronlanter6906 Not even close...! Not sure what you have seen but Drum corp. International will never be this good...These guys are professionally trained. Only a select few are chosen to wear their flag.
This drumline preforms in front of queens and kings! I totally have to disagree with you! Not that you would care...and I was bored!

@@kelliecosner1183 The fact you were bored says it all. What do you know - nada.
Without trashing any other halftime performance anywhere/anytime, this is THE best drum line performance I've ever seen. Outstanding & innovative. Well done
My very first thoughts were .....How many countless hours of practice must have taken place!
Bravo, Bravo!
This was simply awesome!
Percussion Ling-Lings. Practice 40 hours per day. TwoSet Violins need to see this!!
They practice endlessly at home. The only thing I can add is, how do they practice the stick tossing at home? 😕 it's necessary to have someone equally experienced to catch & toss them back & in rythym?
Much more than a drum line, a perfectly performed, well written, innovative production! Bravo to the writer, choreographer and perfect performers.
It was not perfectly performed -- e.g. dropped stick, poor alignment on recovery moves. I really think the extras -- flag people and flashing lights -- were irrelevant to the performance (unless the drummers control the flashing of their drums). What's the next step? A dancing elephant? The bobbing feathers and the swordfight routines were pretty innovative!

How are you doing today?
I live in Concord, CA., home of the world famous, multi-Championship winners, 'Concord Blue Devils". 😚As a drummer, this was show-stopping precision at a new level. Ouch and 🤪Congratulations everybody involved. So, so much hard work and discipline. My partial Swiss heritage is very proud. Thanks Jeff!!
I just viewed your Tempest Blue performance. Love to see at a De La Salle football half time show.
I was stationed in Concord. 😊
My best friend came from Concord, CA. He lived on Treg Lane. Richard Smith MD. The nicest guy I've ever met in my life. G-d bless his soul RIP
Grew up in CoCo and had a couple of good friends in Blue Devils back in the 80s. This video reminded me of their talents. Amazeballs!
Incredible! They never missed a beat or lost a line in step. So elegant and disciplined.❤️
Even more amazing to me is tossing their drum sticks back and forth to each other and never missing or dropping one. I've never seen a more perfect performance and this video should be the Top Gun for all other drum lines around the world to aspire to if they can.

Usually when a title says “Best Ever,” be ready to be disappointed. But this really may be the best ever drumline. Every time I was amazed it was about to get even better. The show just kept ramping up. I did notice one dropped stick, but the ability to recover (probably with a spare stick) and stay in rhythm is what makes an expert! Truly amazing.
As a former participant in marching band for four years+, MY HAT’S OFF TO YOU!! WOOOOW!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
This is pure muscle memory. Hours and hours and hours of practice to reach this level. I was in a marching band so I know a bit but this is another level.

Perfect. This is my favorite type of music. We were introduced to this when our daughter played in a drum and bugle corp in Pittsburgh. I’m in agreement with the person who believes that the tasteless trashy Super Bowl shows should be replaced with real talent such as this!
Hello Deborah
How are you doing today?
Those feathers and hats make it so much better
Having been in marching band when I was in high school, I DO have some idea of how much planning and practice is required to perform a complex, 10-minute long show, but I have to admit it was nothing as complex as this. I'd LOVE to see a composite video of how TS plans, practices, and produces one of their shows. Can't even imagine the audition one would have to go through to even get a shot at being on the team. And I'll bet, once on the team, you GLADLY practice millions of hours to STAY on the team. Congrats to all of you on the dedication it takes. We can see it in the results.
Ditto for me on the high school marching band...I played cymbals so I was in the percussion section. I don't know if I could have remembered everything that these drummers had to and so precisely! If you were off by one beat (even a half a beat!) it would have showed. These drummers are so motivated and obviously dedicated to their drumline performance. They must be proud of their accomplishments, and as they should be. Congrats drummers!!! You performed it beautifully!!!
5min thoug… still an amazing feat
lawrence, you couldn’t have said it better! 🙏🏻
i would LOVE to see the preparations. how can they even memorize all those steps (choreography)?
AND, play an instrument with such a perfection…at the same time…

WoW such great talent, skill and performance! !
I'm a drummer myself for over 30 years, I still play in the worship team band in church. I know what it takes to get a new song ready, as complex as this drumline is the practice and preparations must be intense. BRAVO!!!!!
WOW, the dedication and perseverance required for this talent-rich performance is astounding! What a magnificent triumph!!!

This truly is the best drum line ever. Not a miss in sight. Will have to watch this over and over just to analyze the drum sticks alone, let alone the other parts. Wow.
They dropped one stick when they were throwing it. I was afraid one of them is going to slip on it when they were going backwards.
Well rehearsed!
@Omega Mark from watching this, I wouldn't be surprised if they instinctually knew exactly where it was even walking backwards! 🤯
WOW!
Watch it half speed
But if you watch carefully everyone has two sticks again by the end. They must have stowed backups in their uniforms just in case-- and someone managed to grab the replacement without losing synchrony. That's the most astonishing recover I think I've ever seen!!

Ok, so that turned out to be one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen on UA-cam, maybe even the planet. Well done drummers!
Never cease's to amaze me what the human being can achieve... It dropped into my recommendations glad I clicked on it.....
Stunning…perfection…amazing!!!!!! LOVED every second of this performance!!
These best drumline I have ever seen! Phenomenal precision!
That’s pretty damn amazing. I thought playing college baseball and 95+ mph fastballs were tough. These dudes would have made any army run for the hills and lay down their arms, 150+ years ago. Can’t stop watching.
Indeed ! 😏
Heck yeah, the lighting on the drums alone would cause them to scatter.
They are the REAL DRUMLINE. Practice made Perfect, YEAH!!!
Absolutely awestruck!! The talent and the hours and hours of practice is phenomenal in what they have achieved. Truly Beyond mind-blowing.!! ❤
