It was not perfectly performed -- e.g. dropped stick, poor alignment on recovery moves. I really think the extras -- flag people and flashing lights -- were irrelevant to the performance (unless the drummers control the flashing of their drums). What's the next step? A dancing elephant? The bobbing feathers and the swordfight routines were pretty innovative!

Having been in marching band when I was in high school, I DO have some idea of how much planning and practice is required to perform a complex, 10-minute long show, but I have to admit it was nothing as complex as this. I'd LOVE to see a composite video of how TS plans, practices, and produces one of their shows. Can't even imagine the audition one would have to go through to even get a shot at being on the team. And I'll bet, once on the team, you GLADLY practice millions of hours to STAY on the team. Congrats to all of you on the dedication it takes. We can see it in the results.

These drummers are so motivated and obviously dedicated to their drumline performance. They must be proud of their accomplishments, and as they should be. Congrats drummers!!! Poster video is 99% correct.
I looked in his description and he thought the costumes were lame and I thought they were fabulous because they were musketeers and fit perfectly with the story and they looked great. Besides, the dark blue and white contrast made easy to see the contrast of the movements.
One guys feather was at a slight different angle than the other guys perfectly aligned feathers. That's the only thing I could find.

There's something so soothing and peaceful about listening to bands like this play. I just enjoy it so much, I wished I had joined my high school band in my teens had I realized back then how good these were. The closet I got to being "in a band", was the violin I played at a Christmas school play in my 8th grade year lol

Libera Gemma--If you ever have a chance to perform in a marching band or drum and bugle corps, do so. Our high school band won awards and was invited to perform in some pretty impressive locations back in the day. We started practice with two weeks of band camp in mid-July. The marching practice began in August--four weeks; three hours a day and, just before school started, we added a rehearsal at 6:00 PM. Our rehearsals had to work around the football team's practices, too. We learned a pre-game and a half-time show, both different from each other and different every single year. Marching season ended for us with a local city's winter festival and picked up again with the Memorial Day parade in May (back when Memorial day was May 30th, not a Monday holiday).

Tears! That is beyond incredible! I really do get teary when I see these things because you can truly see the amount of human engineering that goes into these types of moments - the rehearsals, the screw ups, the fights, the tears, the picking yourself/each other up, the sacrifice of time and normality, the work that goes in at home with family (congratulations to you all, Dad of Kid - INCREDIBLE! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!)....it is truly awe inspiring to watch people work together like this. Thank you and God bless all y'all! 🙏❤ Prayers for a wonderful end of the year.
