    I've seen some nice 23+ builds, but yours is awesome! I like because of one thing: You didnt take the "truck" out of it. Meaning this thing is still used for its intended purpose vs being a pavement princess. The lift is just right, as are the 37s. Overall, well done man!

    Always great & useful information, great videos.
    The Ford TPMS option… are those internal rim mount or Valve stem? Does kit come with 4 or 6 (3 axle) sensors? Once complete, does Dash show 4 (6) Truck and 4 (6) Trailer on dash screen as a Truck & Trailer Diagram? Does it show Temps for each too?
    Was comparing with the 2 main Aftermarket Brands.
    RV Camera:
    Did you later purchase and add the Ford Rear RV camera or a different 3rd Party. The RV view then shows on Dash Camera screen as other views?

      I just saw this video and like anyone else. Scrolled through the comments. Don't feel bad bud. My company buys Chevrolets. 3 of the brand new trucks went back to the shop in the first month (2500 hds). We have another one burning oil out of nowhere, and it doesn't have 35k miles. The cummins we had, went back to shop constantly. We only have 1 truck that's not went back to the shop for engine or transmission issues. Everything sucks now due to government. You get a good one or a bad one.

    This answered a question I had is if you can use the TPMS with the Camera. When you Build and Price online for the 2024, you can not choose the trailer camera if you choose the trailer TPMS. I figured it would have to be something a dealer would need to force override or would have to be ordered separately. Not sure why they won't just allow both.

    New to your channel great video I just took delivery of my 24 Limited as well love the truck. Picked up a set of 22x10 -18 offset with 325 50 22’s Toyo AT3 gots to do a lift now won’t fit. So I’m looking at the BDS 5 inch cause I really don’t want to do any cutting or trimming at all and was told it’s an actual 4inch front kit so hope the lift won’t be to much as I’m also towing a 43ft 5th wheel. Thinking the 3 inch just won’t be enough🤷‍♂️

    • @RockyRohde
      @RockyRohde  6 місяців тому +2

      Just being honest 4 and 5” is going to be a lot to pull fifth wheel. 325 is close to 35.5-36” tire.. Max I would prob do is readylift 3.5 for towing.. Carli is close to 3 to 3.25.. My 2.5 with 37’s is almost too much.. I would recommend 3 to 3.5 max. You will run into bed clearance issues.

    Look'n good Rocky! I'm thinking about upgrading my 2019 F250 to a 2024 F350. Have you had any problems with the brake assist on your new 24? I hear a lot of people complaining about it on their 2023's that it slams them to a stop for no reason even with nothing in front of them (both forward and in reverse). One guy said he felt like an idiot because the guy behind him thought he was brake checking him and got mad. So everyone is saying they have been disabling it, but then have the annoying reminder message on the dash continuing to pop up every time they start the rig or even change gears from reverse to drive. Hoping Ford resolves this issue.

    Great video man! Definitely going w/ the ReadyAir Logiq! Thanks answering on your other video as well! What PSI are you running when you’re not towing anything, just everyday driving? And how much weight does adding the extra tank lol…. Do you worry abt the added weight reducing your payload or the bags definitely offset it enough to not really worry?

    • @RockyRohde
      @RockyRohde  6 місяців тому +1

      The Mid grapps are 65 max.. Everyday driving I run the front at 50 and rear at 48. When towing I bump them up to 55 all around in summer. After 20 miles they are at 65 with Texas heat. The airbags offset the weight no problem on fuel. The pin weight on my RV is around 2500 with nothing in the garage. When the canam is loaded it reduces pin weight on the truck.

    • @RockyRohde
      @RockyRohde  3 місяці тому

      I did not.. the heavy suspension is really for snow plow. I’m not looking for a firm ride. When you order with winch you will get dual alternators also. This limited is definitely my fav truck I have had in a while. It does not disappoint and tows my 45’ toy hauler no prob..

  • @jccourtn
    @jccourtn 6 місяців тому +1

    With the extra height of the truck is there any concern with weight shifting more to rear axle of 5th wheel? Or did you do something to level the trailer?

    • @RockyRohde
      @RockyRohde  6 місяців тому +1

      I have one of the new fifth wheels that sit high from the factory. Trailer is probably 1.5” high in the front towing and on a 45 foot really does not make a difference. The rear of the truck is stock tremor hieght.. The 37” only adds an additional inch from what a stock tremor is off the lot. It is 2” higher than a stock fx4.. All of these trucks with stock suspension will squat 4” with the weight added. I usually set my bags at 45-50 psi and allow the truck to squat 2” which also loads the suspension properly and prevents any sway.

    Question on AirRide Air Tank, Using the 2 line Air Pump for L/R. Do you have Air Tank with T-fitting connected to both Air Pump L/R Out lines or the Outlet from Pump between Pump & Air Controller? Was curious how Tank provided Air to both lines separately.

    • @RockyRohde

    Like the Truck, very nice setup, I was planning to use similar.
    Ordered F450 Limited Sep ‘23… added TPMS option, didn’t add Installable Camera since it could be purchased later. Did the wiring harness come with TPMS or Camera… or separate order? Was wondering if I needed to add camera while Truck is still in pending stage.
    Air Lift bags… looked on site, didn’t indicate the weight capacity… other brands state 5000 or 7500lbs. Is weight not a factor with dual bags?
    If you hadn’t spaced ft wheels out, with 2.5" kit you wouldn’t have had a tire rub issue correct. It was the wheel spacers that induced the rub issue with lift & 37"? Reading the web site it sounds like it’s a no rub kit with 35 or 37".

    • @RockyRohde
      @RockyRohde  6 місяців тому +1

      I only ordered tpms and it came with harness that camera can be added. A 37x12.50x20 might barely rub sway bar and radius arms. The 37x13.50 rubs radius arms without 3/8 or 1” spacers. Air lift is up to you I just have never been impressed with brackets that use bump stops on rear suspension block. If you’re towing 3k plus pin weight I would research. The dual bags also stabilize axle wrap on acceleration on braking. They prevent the axle from rolling as much a single pivot point.

    • @dougcjohn
      @dougcjohn 6 місяців тому

      @@RockyRohde thanks for info… agree on dual bag plate being better than single. Just didn’t see any bag weight limits. Also good info on tires and rub. • @RockyRohde
      @RockyRohde  3 місяці тому +1

      The ram for me just needs a 8 or 10 speed. Ram has been running ahead on technology for years and that is why I like them. The 2025 is supposed to get a 8 speed that will be a game changer. I really like the mega cab but don’t really like the long wheel base. Ford and Ram offer about the same space on a Short wheel base. I have had all late model trucks and the fords just pull like nothing behind you.. The power and stability is 100%… The GM is the best everyday driving truck and drives like a car.. I do think Ram and GM could add a little more cushion in the seats to compete with ford. It really depends on what you plan to use the truck for..

    • @aaaron19
      @aaaron19 3 місяці тому

      @@RockyRohde Man that would be awesome to have a 8-10spd. Yeah it’s hard for me because I have my tuned and weight reduced so it’s completely different than stock. Comparing these trucks stock for stock is easy but a whole different ball game when dialed in correctly. My only hate is my transmission, feels like it’s not smooth and could be better.

    Hello,
    2024 F-350 stock Tremor Diesel... the truck wonders back and forth especially when towing. My 250 diesel Platinum was nailed to the road and felt very stable, but this Tremor causes me to fight back and forth with the steering wheel especially when towing. Is this normal because of the Tremor package??? Tires are set at ford specs and trailer is a 6,000 lb bumper pull. Should be noooo issue for a Tremor diesel 350.
    Have any advice?
    Thanks,
    Ryan

    What an awesome way to void your factory warranty! You know if you take it in for ANY kind of problem, they’re gonna point to the modifications and say “this is the root cause of your issue and your warranty will not cover your problem”. But from the looks of that house, garage, and side by side I don’t think this guy will have an issue paying for any non-covered repairs. After your warranty expires, go nuts. But I wouldn’t until then.

    At 10:45 minutes, you state "going to put the iglap system…" couldn’t fully catch that… what is that?

    • @RockyRohde
      @RockyRohde  6 місяців тому

      Research igla. It’s one of the most secure systems in the market. It is highly used on TRX and Hellcat trucks. The system requires a pin code entered on cruise buttons, or authentication with I phone app before the vehicle will start. It also makes the vehicle inoperable.. The dealer can install a new ECM and it still won’t start. The 24 was not compatible yet when the installer tried to install last weekend. He is coming back to my house as the developers have been updating with my info to work on 24 models. As soon as I get it installed I will do a video. I just did a video on the ford anti theft called perimeter plus that is plug and play and made by motor craft. Look up Igla on UA-cam.. lots of videos..

    So your auxiliary tank electric solenoid valve…. Why solenoid valve versus an electric ball valve that would use less power to open and close? And which model of electric solenoid valve did you use after all? I’ve looked and found a lot of mixed reviews of all brands of solenoid valves with no consistency.

    • @RockyRohde
      @RockyRohde  Місяць тому

      I used electric ball valve 12 volt, two wire, fuel rated off Amazon. It has a built in capacitor and when voltage is dropped it closes. The solenoid valve uses to much amperage and coil gets to hot for me..

    You did not install the bump stop extensions. The Tremor block raises the bump stop only one inch, however the extension is 2.5" in length. So if you do not have enough air in the bags you will bottom out and destroy the bags.

      @RockyRohde  5 місяців тому

      I installed after the video..

      I was curious about that and not in a malicious way. I am currently test fitting these bags and had some concerns that hopefully you can answer. Prior to installing the bags, we had 4.5" of distance between the bump stop and lift block stop. When we install the 2.5" bump stop spacer it effectively reduces down travel from 4.5" to 2.0" with no air in the bag. My stock spring rear suspension with Fox 2.5 shocks will travel about 2.5" normal driving, over a curb or such. With these bags installed, no trailer , about 5 psi in the bags I will be hitting the bump stops in some instances. To prevent this I must add air to the bag to reduce down travel to under the 2.0" mark as to not hit the bump stop. The effect then is the rear is lifted and now I have a rake I do not want. In short, my question is why do these bags only have 2.0" on travel at installed height. Curious to know your measurement of max travel to bump stop with no air in the bag? Thanks @@RockyRohde

    • @RockyRohde
      @RockyRohde  5 місяців тому

      @johnsnyder8053 I am running 10 psi as recommended by Airlogic. I didn’t install bump stops in the beginning as that was a concern for me also. Talked to them at air logic and the Ford bump stops are soft and will cushion significantly.. My everyday driving I have not noticed any issue with 10 psi and a little over 1” clearance. When towing I add air to achieve the same 1” clearance and have not had any issues. Yes your truck will have a little more rake. If you don’t like that option install the FX4 blocks and 10-15 psi will be a perfect level.

If I was not towing a 45’ toy hauler I would have a diff setup.. First thing I disclose in the video.. High end lifts provide a better ride but also a white knuckle towing experience..
