Get ANY at this point in time. Do NOT leave your crypto in ANY exchanges. As soon as you have the crypto" cleared" send immediately to your ledger or trezor. Sadly there's still too many people that haven't learnt from voyager and Celsius situations
TBH some people never will. Trust Wallet is free and holds native Cardano and Solana. So money not the issue.
Some people just don't wanna take ownership of their crypto

I hear that, I wasn't happy either. It's important to note though the difference between how the company in the past stored customer shipping info vs the physical product of Ledger which is secure and no documented hacks due to firmware issues to date. But still, I definitely hear your point.

That's some serious stuff, I don't know about you but I live in a state that cares more for the safety of criminals than the law abiding citizens. Props to Mords, you made my decision easy!
Tezor is open source, ledger is NOT. Clear choice here.

Great vid man! Thank u! A never ending debate amoung Ledger users.....Some say you can put your crypto, any crypto, on your Ledger. I say your crypto is always on the blockchain it purtains to. The Ledger is only there to allow secure transactions and movement of your crypto. Therfore your crypto is not sitting in the device. I would love to have all my crypto sitting in the Ledger if this is possible. Your opinion?

Ok so far I’ve only seen 3mins of the video but I wanted to ask this because I’m not sure if you will mention but. The Trezo wallet you mentioned it doesn’t have ADA. 🤔 so Exodus wallet can link with a Trezo wallet and it has ADA. I have a Exodus wallet so should I get a specific type of Trezo wallet or something🤔 please help me understand. I have crypto in exodus and some are staking. I don’t want to move my coins.but hearing things about the Nano that has staking in and all this new information I’m super confused 😵💫. Please help

Token support doesn't really matter much if you connect the HW wallet to MM or Rabby - access to all DeFi
the nano s plus is so fragile feeling, i don't feel safe even putting my crypto onto it.
How secure is the Nano X in regards to Bluejacking, getting hacked through Bluetooth, can the Bluetooth be turned off?

Information provided is not true in the context of Nano S basic model. I have my S hooked up with Ledger iPhone app and I can send receive via my iPhone only catch is you have to approve on the device though.
Are you referring to syncing account and viewing your account balance on iPhone or being able to control crypto via iPhone+Nano S only (without use of an android or computer)? Can you please send me a post/vid or directions on how you did this? I have been unable to find any information on nano s connecting an iPhone and being able to control funds (only to android). The Ledger OTG cable options are: micro-USB to USB-C, micro-USB to USB-A and USB-C to USB-C.
I just want something that will add a layer of protection to my wallet without needing to move my coins from my wallets.

How about safety in terms of government regulation? If any of these companies go out of business when banks try to attack crypto? This is bound to happen soon.
These wallets are self custody meaning you are the full owner of the crypto. As long as you have the seed phrase for the wallet, you can restore funds on a new wallet. So if ledger goes out of business or your ledger breaks, you can restore funds on another wallet (non ledger).
Key Stone is the best wallet. Those 2 can be hacked. Key Stone work with everything no cables no Bluetooth. Air gapped wallets are the most secure and very easy to use.
I like key stone as well. For variety Ledger. Never hurts to have a couple different hardware wallets

Fees will depend on the blockchain you are using (not specific to Ledger or any other hardware wallet or hot wallet). Bitcoin and Ethereum (including Ethereum based tokens and NFTs) have relatively higher fees. Most other cryptocurrencies have low fees to transfer on the blockchain.
If your going to get Trezor, get their higher end model, the Trezor Model T is crap. The easy answer is just get a Ledger (either Nano X or Nano S Plus) is fine.
Model T IS the higher end model!
Why is the Trezor model 1 ( I think you mean) crap,if you just want to store Bitcoin on it.
Not sure why supporting all those coins is important. We must want a safe place to store our bitcoins or USDT or ETH. That’s all. All those coins eventually will be wiped away by regulations.

I do have an affiliate link for ledger correct (mentioned at minute 3:17). It's not that I have an affiliate link so I'm biased for ledger, it's that I used ledger before I even had a UA-cam channel and prefer it over Trezor (I think I made a good case why in this video 🙂) which is why I'm an affiliate for them.
Bluetooth is insecure
Trezor is much safer, Ledger isn't open source.
Trezor was hacked several times. No longer secured using it.
Only if someone can physically get access to your Trezor. And any regular criminal won't be able to break into it. Maybe it is worth it if you need to carry wallet in your pocket.
Your “top ten” will not be top ten thousand eventually. As long as they support Bitcoin, whether they support shitcoins or not doesn’t matter.

I am glad as a small investor, that I am putting my hard earned savings into the most, better said the only transparent market there is day trading.
