Am I wrong in thinking that Halo pretty much blazed the trail for online multiplayer on consoles? (Not for PCs of course). I mean popular online console multiplayer which directly led to what we have today. Not some goofy early experiments that few people used. I can't think of anything before Halo that laid the groundwork for the console online multiplayer experience that we have today. I think it really was Bungie and Xbox Live who get the credit for setting that bar.
