V8 Swapped FJ40 gets some mods!

Summernats brings out some wild cars, you can’t go 10 metres without hearing loud lumpy cam V8s, whining superchargers or seeing candy paint and polished chrome. Sometimes the cars are a little less subtle, cars like this FJ40 short wheelbase. Gary found this 40 while attending Summernats 34 earlier in the year. The Landcruiser was advertised for sale and Gary jumped at it. The owner had actually taken a deposit by another punter, however, after a bit of investigation the other party wanting to purchase had to apply for finance and ended up backing out of the deal, so Gary jumped in there, took the car for a ride around the cruise route and chucked it on the transporter to head back to Queensland.
Upon getting the car back, the showtime team had a look over it and they were very impressed by what they saw. The previous modifications were clean and well finished however it needed a bit more to make it special. ShowTime and Kamikaze at Atomic Custom Fabrication have gone ahead and built this stunning Landcruiser complete with a set of 18inch KMC Wheels, custom Stedi Light Bar, custom front bar housing a Runva 13XP Winch and some interior mods including reupholstering the front seats and adding a GME UHF system.
