Very well thought vehicle with coils, built in switches, wirings options, dual batteries, good power output from the motor, good payloads, cabin comfort, solid axles, i think this thing is the go, cant wait for the first portal axle on this vehicle in Australia

These are without a doubt the best available touring 4wd. The Toyota fanboys will come around eventually.
Will be good once the aftermarket support for it grows too.

But as a self-confessed Toyota fanboy, I’ll admit we can be a stubborn bunch! Once the aftermarket catches up and we start seeing some killer mods, even the die-hards might have to give it a nod.

I feel like this is the best thing out right now. The B58 is already proving to be bulletproof if left alone.
My only concern is the steering. I feel like they have done everything else so well, it has been long enough to do something about so much play in the wheel.

I called in to the Adelaide dealer a couple of weeks ago and it was a sad thing. Only one INEOS car in the back parking lot. No branding/presence. AND - the salesperson told me they are relinquishing the dealership in January.

Great looking vehicle with many good features, including discs all round ( take note Triton, BT50, Hilux etc ) !
The only thing I don't particularly like is the fuse box and batteries under the rear seat. Can you imagine being loaded up for a big expedition with tons of " shit " on the back seat, and blow a fuse ! 🤣

Its been pleasant to my eyes seeing it on the road however, i wish the put an actual speedometer cluster in front of the driver and definitely make a manual transmission or at least redesign the BMW shift knob. Also making washable floor without waterproofing the fuses box under the seat just doesn't make sense. Everything else pretty much beautiful and nice to see in this era of trucks and cars.. cheers ❤

      @mikefoster7085 2 місяці тому +1

Still way too early to crack a stiffy over this yet. Give it a few years and then maybe start baring up a bit. Patrols & Cruiser have both stood the test of time and only in time will we really know what value this offers in the way of holding it's price, withstanding hard yacker on the hill and up riverbeds and all the other challenging places we like to throw our utes. Still looks dam sweet.

It’s a totally cool vehicle, and someday there should be hopefully some good aftermarket support I think the vehicle would look awesome and have much more off-road capability with a 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 inch lift kit and 37 inch tires eight 10,000+ pound winch, and a little better lighting, the problem is very limited on dealers people are buying these things and have to drive up words to 1000 miles to get their vehicle serviced or warranty work, Here in Northern California if you wanted to purchase one you would have to go to Southern California upwards of 500 miles just to get #Warranty work done, and the tariff that Hass to be paid on this vehicle it’s too much money you can buy a jeep gladiator and modify it for less than the cost of this vehicle, the steering is weird and very busy driving down the road, but it is a nice vehicle and very unique I would just hate to be out in the middle of nowhere and have an issue and not be able to get parts.

The grenadier has most of upgrades done from factory. The BMW engine has proven reliability. Keep the service up and they are reliable.

      @@miguelosterroht Let's me educate you.
      Purpose and Design:
Toyota Supra: The Supra is a sports car designed primarily for on-road performance. It is built for speed, agility, and handling on paved roads and tracks. The focus is on aerodynamics, a low center of gravity, and a stiff chassis to enhance driving dynamics.
Off-Road Vehicles: Off-road vehicles are designed to handle rough, uneven terrain, including mud, rocks, sand, and steep inclines. They are typically built with higher ground clearance, rugged suspension systems, and more durable components to withstand harsh conditions. Off-road vehicles prioritize durability, traction, and the ability to navigate challenging environments over speed and on-road handling.
      Requirements for an Off-Road Engine:
An engine for an off-road vehicle must meet several specific requirements to handle the demands of off-road driving:
      Durability and Reliability:
Off-road engines must be built to withstand harsh conditions, including dust, water, and extreme temperatures. They need to be robust and reliable, as breakdowns in remote areas can be dangerous.
Engines should be designed with durable materials and reinforced components, such as heavy-duty gaskets and seals, to prevent damage from debris and environmental factors.
      Torque:
Off-road driving often requires high torque at low RPMs to power through challenging terrain, such as climbing steep hills or navigating through mud and sand. An off-road engine should provide ample low-end torque to keep the vehicle moving steadily in difficult conditions.
Diesel engines are popular in off-road vehicles due to their high torque output at low RPMs, which is ideal for off-road use.
      Cooling System:
Off-road vehicles may operate in environments where temperatures fluctuate dramatically, and engines may be subjected to extended periods of high load. A robust cooling system is essential to prevent overheating during prolonged off-road use.
Off-road engines often feature larger radiators, additional cooling fans, and oil coolers to manage the heat generated during demanding driving conditions.
      Water and Dust Resistance:
Off-road engines should be designed to resist water and dust ingress. This includes sealed air intakes, waterproof electrical components, and protective coverings to prevent water from entering the engine during river crossings or heavy rains.
Some off-road vehicles are equipped with snorkels, which raise the air intake above the vehicle's roofline to allow for deeper water crossings.
      Fuel Efficiency and Range:
Off-road vehicles are often used in remote areas where refueling opportunities are limited. Therefore, engines should be fuel-efficient and paired with large fuel tanks to extend the vehicle's range.
Some off-road vehicles are equipped with dual fuel tanks or have options for carrying additional fuel.
      Maintenance Accessibility:
Off-road vehicles need to be easy to repair in the field, so engines should be designed with maintenance accessibility in mind. This includes the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance with minimal tools and equipment.
Off-road engines should have robust and straightforward designs to facilitate quick repairs and troubleshooting in remote locations.
      Conclusion
While the Toyota Supra is a finely tuned sports car built for on-road performance, off-road vehicles are engineered to excel in rugged, unpredictable environments. Off-road engines need to be durable, reliable, and capable of delivering high torque at low speeds, all while being able to withstand extreme conditions. These requirements are quite different from those of an engine designed for a high-performance sports car like the Supra.
So, what was the reason to mention Supra in your comment?

I don’t want to say too much, but it’s more of a bucket of trouble than a reliable off-road vehicle. Here is just one of many: ua-cam.com/video/QsKHs2g-Xiw/v-deo.htmlsi=91-2x5O9pxyqYILv

Did you not watch the video and any of the other Canny videos? He raves about the Grenadier. Maybe the Rohny Dahl videos? Most of the complaints was the launch vehicles which all have been corrected.

@@peopleschamp7258 I have watched them, and not just them. I also have my own knowledge, experience, and practical skills, which is why I can form my own opinion. Regarding Ronny Dahl, he would be the last person I’d listen to because he relies heavily on sponsor money, and most of his videos are nothing but continuous low-quality ads. He is a showman not an expert or even qualified specialist. On the other hand the objective reality is that I know real owners who have problems with their vehicles that cannot be properly or quickly identified. The most important issue is that once the problems are identified, it takes weeks or months to fix them. I don’t mind that the Grenadier could potentially be a good vehicle, but that could take decades. Unfortunately, I have only one life, and I am living it now. I need a vehicle to enjoy driving and traveling, not constantly fixing it or waiting for spare parts.

@@peopleschamp7258 Ronny Dahl is the last person I would listen to. What's the reason to listen to a guy who lives on sponsorships with zero engineering degrees or professional skills in the area? He's just another showman with scripted talk for money. Instead, I believe my own eyes and other owners of this nonsense. I have no doubt that potentially in 10 or 20 years, Ineos could be a good car, even better than any Land Cruiser. But I also have no doubt that this brand will not survive by that time.

@australia-ukraine mate, I'm sorry. I didn't look at the username when I replied. I would never make a comment. You spend so much time watching Ineos videos and posting nonsense. I ve gone rounds with you on the comment section before, and you just spew more garbage than anyone on here. But I do love that you post a video from one person, but then day you won't watch a video from another poster because they like the spotlight. You are delusional.

No shame in choosing the 70 Series-it’s a legend for a reason! Grenadier hasn't as long as the 70 series to build a legacy of rugged reliability.

Too little of a company with too short history.
    This vehicle is unproven still.
