Are those seats and cup holders heated ? Lol.. just kidding.. it's a great build. This is the best part because it is so close the visual is there... but it is also when it is fun to slow up. Look it over tweak it here tweak it there.. add an idea of some little cosmetic change and or additions... just taking the time to enjoy the final little touches and do it right. Looking forward to seeing what's next as it all comes together. 😎👍
Love it how you don't waste 20 years of video on unscrewing a bolt or welding a part. Great job! Can't wait for the sequel! Happy new year and Hi! from Réunion Island, Indian Ocean. Keep up the great job!
My Uncle bought one brand new back in the 70's, i was so pissed when he sold it and did not tell me, i wanted to buy it badly. I was in High School and really liked that jeep. Did not ride in another until i was in Steamboat Springs for a softball torunement and hired a fishing guide. he picked us up in his which had a Chevy 350 coversion, teid to buy it buy he would not sell.
@@jacobmarshall4935 Of corse they did. When I mentioned "jeep" it was in reference to all smaller size 4wd vehicles, just like most adjustable wrenches or adjustable slide pliers are referred to as a Crescent Wrench or Channel locks. I have 94 Discovery, I call it a jeep, meaning a 4wd offroad vehicle
Wow, the amount of time and energy put into this old Toyota was staggering; the final result, though, looks like it was well worth it! Great American craftsmanship throughout! I’d say they don’t make ‘em like they used to, in this case, they made it better!
Bro been watching you since the first Yota truck build…what you’ve accomplished since then is unreal. Keep up the good work and Happy New Year!! The FJ40 is gonna be 🔥🔥
It look so easy…guess I just need a few hundred thousand dollars for a complete shop full of tools! It’s so dramatic when you throw the metal on the welding table, you’re so cool.
There's no shortage of FJ40 projects on YT. But this one is clearly in a class by itself. Being a Seahawks fan, I gotta Call it "Beast Mode"! BTW unlike some of your other subs, I'm in no hurry to see this one finished. Great content Austin!
This work is very wonderful and enjoyable, and it shows the experience and craftsmanship that you possess.. How I wish I had learned this profession.. I wish you success.
Had old 76 with good frame pretty good body except it had marine plywood floor 😅 yelp how i got it. Put in great just plywood. Should kept it. Back on 94,95 maybe right in there had metal top with hatch. Run great to run through woods for a summer all i done put clutch slave cylinder rebuild.
It’s remarkable how much work you’re able to do for one person. Very well done. Great video too. One tip? Be certain that you’re looking out for your back. This type of work can do a number on your back, but if you’re careful, you can do it for much longer without a problem.
Интересный автомобиль ! Хорошая рестоврация , даже при не большом парке инструмента , объём работы впечатляет ! 👍 Приятно наблюдать труд человека , который балдеет от того чем занимается !!! 🤔👍 😉😁
Dude you the man me dad had exact same fj same colour wheels when I was a kid use to take us 4wd most weekends with his 4x4 club Geezs brings back memories Good old days,Good on ya bud awesome build
Looking good Austin. Would be great to see some wheeling footage of this one when you’re finished. It’s the one aspect which is lacking on your channel. Great fab content, but let us see how it works out on the trail!
Two things: 1. You should change the title of your video to, “Turning my FJ40 into a Monster” 😁 2. I’d like to see the finished product after paint and all. 💕
This is the type of build that should be a SEMA! You’ve done such an outstanding job putting this truck together and I can’t wait to see more!
So self explanatory, no need for long winding narratives, thanks for the video.
J'aime tellement ton style !
That’s so amazing! I don’t need Netflix or anything just more content of this sort
Do you ever attempt to keep track of all your hours that go into a build?
No I don’t! I really don’t want to know haha
@@austinniemela Good selling point for you. "Dude, I got 400 hours into this build. You tell me what that's worth".
World-class craftmanship, what an awesome build
yoh I like it !--I think they show only the ruff --not the fine work--but cooll--tue rollf
Agreed! Looks amazing. We had an FJ40 in the same paint code growing up, dang I wish we kept it.
😊

Haha heated cup holders?! lol yeah it’s the fun part of the build where you can actually see the end in sight and it comes together!

Didn't Toyota make the FJ40?

@@tomcole4736 Neat. I work as an automotive locksmith, so for me...specifics are important!
Many Landcruiser nuts hate them being called a jeep. We just ignore Toyota originally intended on calling it such
THE VIDEO IS INCOMPLETE, BUT REAALY INTRESTING, I WANTED TO SEE THE DISPLAY OF THE LARGE SCREENS PUT ON THE DASHBOARD
Работа мечты)
Its not a matter of having the right tools, it's a matter of knowing how to use them
We missed the Hilux that I had sold, we hoped that it would complete its construction project

Just....WOW!
This is an amazing FJ!!! Love watching your builds. You and your brother really inspire me to do quality work on my own cars. Keep it up please 😁🤙🏽
This build is SEMA worthy brother! Seriously!!
I wish if the restoration was done with original look, i like the first look on it, however thanks for sharing this.. keep up the good work
It takes courage and dedication. Where is part 2?
*Dude, love the build - that's some heavy duty stock plate you're using there! That thing ain't never falling apart!!*
Nicely done. I came up in these FJ's in the Panama Canal Zone. Last one the old man had was blue and diesel. Thing was a tank. Enjoyed much.
It look so easy…guess I just need a few hundred thousand dollars for a complete shop full of tools! It’s so dramatic when you throw the metal on the welding table, you’re so cool.
You could mass produce and sell a lot of those custom parts. Especially liked the dash!
Awesome progress so far Austin 👍🏻 the FJ is looking so dope🔥💯 looking forward to the continuation of this project 😎🤘🏼🍺
Хорошая работа, молодцы! А какая прибавка произошла к основному весу после доработки?
I like you and Thank you for the quality of photography and directing. This is the best FJ40 modification series❤
Thank you!!

Thank you!! Yes I already have back problems haha since this video I did put a jib crane in the shop which helps a ton!
Это очень круто!
Watched your build videos and recommend it to everyone!
Personally I think someone should do a safety orange frame.
Caramba um sonho, aqui no Brasil temos muito no interior do norte, nordeste, cara, gostamos...
That's how it's done! Great attention to detail!
