Amy you are the only 1 to explain this , so that i can understand , just great , thank you , ive been unable to chip and pitch for over 10 years , this works , ive done it , im so happy ! You are better than everybody , including all the other pros ,on youtube , etc.... they seem like they are trying to trick me , by not telling the right things to do , im a man . The key points you gave ,that thier is no wieght shift , and to use my tummy on the takeaway , most of us are too lazy to use our tummy on the short shots ....

I’m not sure why someone would dislike this. I particularly liked the towel illustration. This illustration truly allows a golfer to know what the club head fills like.

Today I just had a $100 lesson with my pro....it was a great lesson.
Then tonight I Just found this ‘Golf with Aimee’ and her explanation and visual was exactly what we worked on today.
    I love Aimee’s presentation.
I can’t wait to show my wife Aimee’s lessons, as she’s just getting back into golf after a several year hiatus.
Thank you Aimee, looking forward to watching more of your lessons, discussing them with my pro at our lessons and bringing them to my practice sessions,
and the most important....to the course
FYI I’m a single handicap, but it’s so easy for all of us, seasoned pro to new golfer, to fall into bad habits and techniques.
And remember even the number 1 golfer in the world .....Has lessons and works on the fundamentals All The Time!
Thank you Aimee for sharing your excellent skill and talent of verbalizing and simplifying the complexity of the golf swing.

Thank you Aimee for explaining the proper mechanics of a 10-yd chip shot vs a 25-yd chip shot. I greatly appreciate your concise and no nonsense approach. I've watched several of your videos and now have to admit that I am hooked on your teachings... so much that I even have subscribed to your awesome channel. I've watched many different golfing tutorial videos by other instructors and honestly how you teach seems to sink in more with me then some of the other instructors. I think they kind of talk too much and ramble on while you are more straight to the point with excellent visuals (like the towel action) to drive your point home. I feel like I'm getting free golf lessons. I'm going to through as many of your videos as I can now that I've discovered your channel only a few weeks ago. Have a great day!

Thank you Aimee, I’ve just begun watching your videos and you are amazing. After watching your video on tips to improve your driver, I’ve slowed down my swing and I’m not driving it much straighter and about twenty to thirty yards farther. Your teaching style is perfect for the way I learn so keep up the good work and please keep the videos coming!

Hi Aimee, I enjoyed this upload..My strength has always been my short game..,I'm very comfortable with most shots and I can visualise if I want 70/30 carry run or 40/60 or 90/10 etc depending on lie and then select appropriate club.. Your 7 min analysis is exactly what I do but it would take other pros 2 hours to get the points across.. I love the way you cut out the BS and get straight to the point.. I'm sure many who struggle will copy this and get immediate results :-)

Hi. The hinging here looks different than in your no shanks video for the full swing. There, I think, you showed moving the right arm only first (and no body turn) before hinging. Here, the hinging and turn take place simultaneously. Are both right depending on full swing or chip shot? Thanks. Ralph G.

Hi Aimee, great vid. Hope you can help. Why is it when I practice chipping at the practice range I chip them close to the pin, yet when I'm playing in competitions, I don't feel as relaxed and and sometimes thin my chips. It's as though I can't stay relaxed and my swing speed increases as in I rush the shot. Thanks

    • @GolfWithAimee
      @GolfWithAimee  5 років тому +1

Hello and thanks for your message!
Yes degree of clubs/wedges will make a difference since if you hit a lofted wedge, you would have to swing a bit bigger than compared to a less lofted wedge.
Everyone is different depending on their style of impact, but I would say for my 15 yard carry with a 58 degree wedge, my wedge shaft is parallel to the ground. and slight hinge to my wrists!
      Hope this helps!

Good question, i think it does and i use it all the time. Length of Lever in simple Physics? Anyone?
But would love to see Aimee answer this.
I actual cut one of my 60 degree wedge shaft by 1.5 inch. Helps me with very short chips around the green when the pin is tugged is close to you.
      Help us Aimee !
