Love it. Paul is gone now too. I feel blessed to live in a time when all this talent and great taste of guitar playing was done.
I grew up watching Chet. My father loved the guy. Chet hugely influenced my playing. I always saw him as a superhero. Thanks Joe!
Thank you too Joe…Joe
Mother Maybelle was adamant she would not sign to play the Opry if Chester could not be included.
Studio musicians were afraid Chet would take work from them.
They were correct.
Loved how Chet was smiling, having fun on Poor Boy Blues video with Mark Knopfler.
Magic thanks a lot
So great.
Hi Joe, hope you’re having a good week my friend.
Thanks George…You too..Joe
What a mechanic!!
Great tribute as always to the latest and greatest musician/guitarist of our generation!
Beautiful! It touches the soul I can truly say I have listened to this all my life. Chet Atkins started with the Grand Ole Opry the year I was born. Lord do we miss him.

@@nellymoriarty_5783 Moriarty, a great Irish name.
Amazing!
Just Love this❣ Thanks--made my day better👍❤
Thanks Lucky..Joe
Now that was a terrific tribute to Chet by two amazing guitarist! I noticed that both of their guitars were unconventional in that neither one had a sound hole! Thanks for the video Joe & hope that all is well with you! 👍👍🎸👏🎸👏
Doesn't get much better than this! Thank you Joe!
I would live to see Steve and Vince Gill get in the studio to record a dozen to two or six songs...mostly instrumentals with a few vocals similar to what Chet and Mark Knofler did years ago.
And I think if Steve got together with Richard Smith and Knofler got together guitar magic would happen.
C'mon you guys....I ain't got that many years left!! 😂
Awesome medley Joe...Chet was one of brother Jim's first influences!
Please keep up the good work you are doing with the museum. This is especially enjoyable I always thought Mr Atkins was a relative because our family is from Tennessee and my mother's maiden name was Atkins
Any relation to Chet?
@@Nicholas211 I believe so but I don't know just exactly what the connection is. I think it would be interesting to research the history on it. I do know that my great great grandfather was in the Revolutionary War and migrated toward Tennessee later
@@brenda121143 You have a rich family history, thanks for the reply.
@@Nicholas211 thanks for your kind remarks Larry. The other side of my family was sort of colorful too my maiden name was Shelby. The Shelby that established Shelby County was a relative on my dad's side. Or maybe it was named for him. I was born and raised in Clarksville and it lived all over the country and currently reside in Lawton Oklahoma. Are you in tennessee?
@@brenda121143 That's cool Brenda, I'm an Okie too. I reside in Krebs,Ok., Little Italy. It's near Mcalester. Thanks again!
I used to listen to the Louvin Bros and try to tell if I was hearing Atkins or Yandell. Nice medly...and isn't Wariner playing his own outro?
BTW, anyone who hasn't been to the Musician's Hall of Fame: go soon, get there early and plan to stay all day. Incredible collection (my favorite: the piano Gamble and Huff used on Me and Mrs Jones); everything is beautifully diplayed, and you'll run into nice folks there, too.
Thank you Joe Chambers!
Thank you very much Paul… Joe
I sure hope to visit Musicians Hall of Fame
@@MusiciansHallofFameMuseum What an accomplishment! Just one nugget after another throughout! I was told you're there most afternoons. Hoped we might meet, maybe next time!
